08/12/2025: I'm so happy I ate at this restaurant; the staff was wonderful, as was the food. The mountain setting is perfect for a lovely family afternoon. The food arrived super quickly, in about 10-15 minutes, even though there were a lot of us. The restaurant has a bar, a pub, and a restaurant with a beautiful fireplace that gives it a mountain cabin feel. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

The food is excellent, crafted from carefully selected ingredients, with a menu that respects tradition but also incorporates technique and innovation. Fabrizio is an exceptional host who guides you through the wide and varied selection of wines, from Abruzzo, Italy, and even internationally. A pleasant experience well worth a stop.

08/11/2025: We set out with the idea of ​​grabbing a quick slice of pizza at Lucio's, but when it was closed, we wandered over to this restaurant and decided to give it a try, partly because of the warm welcome we received. It was a wonderful discovery: we ordered OVO64, a must-try if you love soft-boiled eggs, a cream of pumpkin soup, braised cheek on puree, and a crème caramel. Everything was excellent, beautifully presented, and the service was attentive and courteous. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back.

22/03/2026: Unfortunately, a disappointing experience. The mussels were peppered and floating in oil!!! The lobster linguine was nonexistent on the plate... tasty, but the lobster was ghostly!!! Poor value for money!!! First and last time... too bad because the location is beautiful... Forte dei Marmi is fortunate because of the tourism... and above all, a lot of people go there who have never seriously eaten fish... and don't even know what they're eating... like most of those who gave it 5 stars!!!!! They're definitely people who have eaten in company cafeterias or service stations.

05/01/2026: I enjoyed a relaxing atmosphere with my group of traveling friends at the Lo Scrigno di Purpura farmhouse, surrounded by nature. The owners were kind and helpful, the cleanliness impeccable, and the food was superb and delicious, locally sourced! Excellent value for money, and the atmosphere was welcoming and familiar! I recommend it to everyone.

13/02/2026: Excellent restaurant for an evening in good company. I'd been away for years, for personal reasons, but it only took a moment to feel at home again. The food was as good as I remembered; the location was top-notch. I can't imagine it in the summer, with the added outdoor seating. Attentive and fast service. A bit out of the way, but definitely worth it. Excellent value 🌟👍

26/09/2025: A restaurant with multi-level dining rooms, fast service, friendly and welcoming staff, and a classic Abruzzo menu, with a few game variations, all high-quality and well-cooked. I've always been satisfied with the food, whether it's for a romantic dinner or a meal with family and friends. The excellent value for money is also worth a try.

29/10/2025: Last Saturday, after a lovely hike in the mountains with the family, we visited the magnificent, largest beech forest in Europe. Nestled between the towns of Pereto, Cappadocia, and Tagliacozzo, it's truly enchanting this time of year. In Cappadocia, we stopped at this little gem I already knew. The atmosphere was rustic and homey. The food was excellent, with simple, timeless flavors. We ordered tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, mixed crepes, and gnocchi with ragù. For our main course, a very tender tagliata, but the arrosticini were unsurpassed, and the breaded lamb deserved top marks. The desserts were also delicious: a crepe with Nutella for my son, a pear baked in Montepulciano for me, and a crème brulee for my wife. A liter of house red wine, coffee, and gentian. Everything was truly delicious; I highly recommend you come and experience the flavors of our wonderful Abruzzo. All in all, we spent €100 for the three of us, and the prices are still what they used to be.

A fantastic start to the year, sealed with a final evening at this place. The pane burro e alici (bread, butter, and anchovies) were TOP with the Margarita! We'll be back, guys—that's not a promise, but a certainty! 😎

Maybe... but two appetizers, a first course, and a sliced ​​steak (400g) with a glass of wine for €80 seems really excessive, especially for a minimal appetizer. The atmosphere, I mean the place (old, dilapidated, and that's understandable), and the absurd chaos where you can't even exchange a few words... Only two first courses to choose from, and for sides, only potatoes and salad; they had nothing else... HOWEVER, THE MOST PAINFUL NOTE IS THAT THEY DON'T GIVE YOU A MENU, so you can't even check the prices. It's all based on "trust," and in fact, you end up with the surprise (bill) at the end. I repeat, €40 per person for a (bare) appetizer and a first or second course... I'm responding to your response... Meanwhile, could you elaborate on what I mentioned? Furthermore, the review is useful for anyone who wants to come to understand how it works... Because if someone had told me, I definitely wouldn't have come. Because anyone who doesn't know, should know that you're served a TAGLIATA (a thinly sliced ​​steak) for €60/65 per kilo, without knowing where it comes from, the cut, or what a beast it is! They should know that they're eating tonnarello, NOT mushrooms and porcini mushrooms, but tonnarello with truffle sauce, frozen mixed mushrooms, and cream... They should know that they're drinking a glass of wine, brought from the kitchen, without knowing what wine it is! I repeat, anything is possible... Everyone chooses to follow the restaurant line they believe best, but forgive me, you CANNOT do all this in an 80s-style place with toilets..... And then have medium-high restaurant prices compared to the location and the context... Among other things, I repeat, prices NOT advertised.

30/12/2025: Given the positive reviews, we decided to try this restaurant, which specializes in seafood but also offers meat dishes. We were amazed by everything: generous, expertly prepared dishes, perfectly fried fish, light and without the heavy oil, spaghetti with clams where the clams outnumbered the abundant spaghetti, and risotto with cream of scampi was delicate, light, and very tasty. In short, what can we say? I wish we had it closer to home! And then there was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, the reasonable prices, and the lovely atmosphere. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!
