04/09/2025: Superb restaurant in the heart of Pescocostanzo. High quality of food and beverage. Top class wine and typical cuisine. A little trouble for disabled folks. Anyway worth the visit

31/08/2025: La Terrazza Restaurant, located in the heart of Pescocostanzo, offers a picturesque view from its panoramic rooms. The service is warm and friendly, without too much formality, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The appetizers are traditional and well-prepared, while the first courses are reasonably good, although the portions are a bit small, especially the pappardelle. The bean soup is satisfying, but both dishes are rather basic and lack any particular surprises. The second courses are average and offer nothing particularly original compared to other restaurants in Abruzzo. The desserts are also average, with the chestnut gelato standing out as one of the few positives. However, the prices are excessive and not justified by the quality of the food, the ambiance, or the service. Considering the competition, they're too high. In conclusion, it wouldn't be my first choice, but the food isn't bad; it's just not a memorable place, and there are better options within walking distance.

Nonostante il locale fosse quasi al completo, il servizio è stato impeccabile: il personale ci ha fatto sentire davvero i benvenuti. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo ci ha positivamente colpiti: porzioni generose, ingredienti di qualità e una cura evidente nella presentazione dei piatti. Un plauso speciale agli gnocchi, semplicemente deliziosi! Complimenti sinceri a tutto lo staff, alla proprietaria Cristina per la professionalità e l’attenzione dimostrata. Un’esperienza che ci ha lasciati pienamente soddisfatti.

20/09/2025: Our family of four visited Italy and traveled around for 10 days. THIS restaurant was by far our favorite. We went here both nights we stayed in the area. Great food, excellent atmosphere, and superb people. The owner is so friendly and warm; he put big smiles on our faces. This was the "Italian experience" we wanted, and we will store the memories of this restaurant in our hearts.

17/08/2025: The hotel is in an excellent location near the highway and the town, with all amenities close by, yet immersed in the tranquility of the countryside with its pleasant sounds. The staff is very welcoming, kind, and always available. The owners immediately make you feel at ease. The room is always spotless and tidy. The restaurant is also excellent.

02/09/2025: I discovered this restaurant almost by chance and it was a very positive experience. The gnocchi agli orapi and the grilled meat were excellent. The restaurant is located in the historic center of Barrea, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. The staff are very friendly. A good place for a stop.

04/10/2025: Rude personnel. They refused to give me a table despite the restaurant being almost empty (and it was past 20:00)... Out of curiosity I tried to then book a table using their website... they ask a ton of questions. These guys are more like a data broker than a pizzeria. Good luck, I'm sure you'll go far in life with this attitude.

22/09/2025: Nice place, there were eight of us and we all ordered buffalo mozzarella pizza because we needed to be quick. I have to say, the pizza wasn't great, but it was delicious—soft, flavorful, and seemed made with quality ingredients. The staff was very quick with service, from ordering to delivery. We found it at Maps because we were passing through, but I have to say I'd happily go back for a good pizza. The only downside is that there wasn't much room to move around the tables outside.

28/08/2025: Excellent food with sought-after and hard-to-find ingredients. A vast selection of wines at low prices. Pacchero with sublime lobster for €15, extraordinary oysters for €3. What more can I say? Congratulations!

14/08/2025: It was with great joy and a touch of emotion that I rediscovered the magic of one of Italy's finest wine shops. The selection is carefully curated and of the highest quality, featuring a selection of local labels. The owner, Maurizio, is a great wine expert and a delightful person. If you can get him to open the "Holy of Holies" where the most precious wines are kept, you'll be amazed! A must-visit for wine lovers!

21/09/2025: Even during the day, it's exceptional, but the live music evenings are the absolute best. Very beautiful location. EDIT: I reluctantly have to change my rating from 5/5 to 3/5 after a truly awful lunch. The first courses were awful, especially the saffron gnocchi. Absolutely poor value for money. The meat was good. I recommend it only for coffee/aperitifs.

10/08/2025: I was recently invited to La Corniola restaurant in Pescocostanzo to celebrate a friend's birthday. I had never had the opportunity to visit before, and I must say it was a pleasant discovery. The restaurant is very elegant and refined, with a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. It's no surprise that it's recommended by the MICHELIN Guide, given the high quality of the cuisine and service. I chose a porcini mushroom soup, rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. Another noteworthy dish was the egg with truffle. The selection of meats for the main courses is equally impressive. The quality of the meat is evident, and every bite was a pleasure. The wine list is well-stocked, with a wide range of both local and international labels. To end on a sweet note, we enjoyed a cake baked directly by the restaurant's kitchen, which fully met our expectations. The prices are absolutely average, especially considering the high quality of the dishes and service. Compared to other restaurants in the area, La Corniola stands out for its culinary excellence and attention to detail. I will undoubtedly return to this restaurant on future occasions, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end dining experience in Pescocostanzo.

31/08/2025: For a new management operation, just over a year old, the quality is truly high. My family and I have tried a little bit of everything, and it's all excellent! Honorable mention for the truly original ice cream flavors.

30/08/2025: I thought it was a crepe. It was a typo. Nonexistent flavor, depressing texture, and an aftertaste of "why did I order that?" Never again.

16/09/2025: Probably a cult venue in the past for weddings, but today it has a sense of decadence: the grounds, in particular, are neglected, with broken chairs and a ruined pool at the bottom (not a pretty sight). The service is very attentive, but the food is average, especially the aperitif buffet, which was rather disappointing.
