A farmhouse. A trattoria. A quiet place to eat simply and well. The arrosticini? Placed on a grill, turned by hand, and cooked over the coals. Perhaps, no doubt, the best I've ever eaten! The rest is worth it, absolutely worth it. The scamorza is very good. I can only say: Thank you!

Delicious dinner, unfortunately you need to book in advance because it's quite popular and the dining room isn't very big. The portions are generous and very affordable. Probably the best arrosticini I've ever had!

I've given 5 stars everywhere because I love simplicity and authenticity in the places I frequent. For the first time at Archetto, on the recommendation of a loved one, I decided to write a few words about this trattoria, because I think I deserve to call it that.
Good food, generous portions, and friendly, fast service.
Few seats.
True Abruzzese cuisine, amazing grilled meats, truly excellent first courses.
Fairly priced. I recommend it, hoping not to disappoint anyone reading this.

ILLEGAL portions!!!
The first courses were truly excellent and generous, with arrosticini (the fat ones) cooked perfectly in the large fireplace at the entrance. The service was kind and friendly, and the prices were excellent. Highly recommended.

Blessed Abruzzo. In the charming village of Santa Iona, near Celano, we stumbled upon this little place where you literally struggle to finish the enormous plates. We asked the cheerful owner why she makes it, since customers often skip the main course after the first course, but she, amazingly, said that's how she likes it. We ordered an appetizer for three (there were five of us), which was definitely enough for everyone. Local and foreign cured meats, cheeses, pickled vegetables, mushrooms, and then the hot dishes, with a specially cooked egg and fried dishes. And then there's more: Pappardelle with mushrooms, 10 euros. Gnocchi with saffron and bacon, 10 euros. Ravioli stuffed with pecorino and pistachio with walnut sauce, 10 euros. Stringoli with black truffle, 10 euros. Scamorza with mushrooms, 9 euros. Mixed grill for two, 20 euros.
