16/11/2024: allora la pizza era anche buona magari, però purtroppo il pomodoro aveva un sapore acido, sentito subito. Inoltre casualità 30 minuti dopo abbiamo avuto tutti e 4 mal di pancia con diarrea. Non so se magari solo questa volta il pomodoro era un po' così però mi dispiace...

23/03/2025: As soon as you entered you immediately noticed a strong smell of bleach which is not pleasant when you go to a restaurant, cold service, they don't take care of customers, let's not talk about the dishes... hot rice for the nigiri, even on the rolls, tasteless tartare, the soy noodles wallow in a broth (never seen in other sushi). I conclude by saying and advising you to avoid this sushi.

04/05/2025: Unfortunately a disappointing experience. We ordered 8 pizzas, of which 2 arrived completely wrong. In addition to the error in the order, the quality of the pizza really left something to be desired: the base was very thin, soft and tasteless, more similar to a piadina than to a real pizza. Even the staff did not help to improve the situation: they were not very welcoming and the two managers behind the counter stared at the customers, making them feel uncomfortable. We won't be returning.

04/05/2025: To define Pizza as such is an insult. Service girls are kind for goodness sake but they should inform themselves before informing customers of dishes and then come back to say that the ingredient is finished and three times for three different ingredients. They got two pizzas wrong. And then having the owners stare at you from start to finish, standing there in front of the table, behind the counter, is annoying. The place is nice and clean and I didn't understand why there weren't so many people on a Saturday night. Now I know!

25/04/2025: Piatti di qualità ma servizio inesistente. Ho dovuto chiedere che mi venisse portato il pane. I giovani camerieri sono molto lenti e sostano letteralmente con le mani in mano senza prestare attenzione ai tovoli. Ho dovuto richiamare l'attenzione per poter ordinare il dessert. Dopo 30 minuti, non essendomi ancora stato consegnato, mi sono recata a pagare il conto specificando di non aver consumato il dolce. La proprietaria si è scusata dicendo che era stata un giornata impegnativa. Ho accettato le scuse... ma non ho controllato lo scontrino (errore mio) e più tardi mi sono accorta di aver pagato anche le 6€ di dolce! Non lo consiglio

22/04/2025: La location è centrale nella splendida Soave a due passi dal Castello, ma sono qui per tessere le lodi di una cucina prelibata! Pesce freschissimo sia crudo sia in frittura sia alla brace. La meraviglia per me sono stati gli spaghetti allo scoglio senza glutine deliziosi, ricchi e indimenticabili. Tutti i miei amici che hanno mangiato piatti diversi hanno apprezzato tanta qualità, abbondanza, gentilezza e simpatia della titolare e del personale. Era il giorno di Pasquetta e quindi il locale era affollato. Abbiamo atteso il giusto, ma torneremo perchè la bontà dei piatti non si può scordare e vogliamo assaggiare tutto! Bravissimi e grazie!!!

31/12/2024: Chiude per turno settimanale il Martedì. Ma non ho visto nulla al riguardo. L'ho trovato chiuso. Suggerisco di comunicarlo con un cartello e su Maps.

24/10/2024: Ottimo cibo ad un prezzo giusto, da provare in estate per godere del meraviglioso panorama dalla terrazza devo è possibile cenare.

26/04/2025: We only stopped by for a late afternoon. We got a special offer for 15 euros: two bruschetta and a liter of Aperol. Perfect!! Nice atmosphere and not too hype!! Worth it!!

28/12/2024: Simply EXTRAORDINARY. During the holidays when I come to visit my in-laws La Vela Blu is a regular stop. Wholemeal, sliced ​​and gluten-free pizzas. Generous in ingredients, very helpful and punctual. The owners are very good people, always kind even with children.

25/04/2025: a splendid aperitif with a lake view. The waiter named Manuel was very friendly and polite and very nice, the service was in the right time. My wife asked for a gin and tonic but the waiter named Manuel recommended one made completely right on, my wife when the drink arrived was thrilled to see the beauty of this drink and it was exceptionally good. My wife and I are really thrilled to have found a comfortable and welcoming place to spend a nice aperitif, I highly recommend it

13/04/2025: The pizza is really excellent and the place is very welcoming. We had booked for 7pm on Saturday evening: a special occasion, a meeting between five friends who hadn't seen each other for twenty years. After enjoying the pizzas and drinks, we remained sitting at the table and chatting. Unfortunately, at 9.30pm, the owner asked us to get up in a rather rude manner, making it clear to us that it was time for the second shift. What a disappointment and what a sadness! I have been a loyal customer of this pizzeria for many years, but it is a shame to note that Pizzeria 70 is also adopting the same policy as some other pizzerias in Verona: that of having the meal consumed within time limits. A venue should offer a complete experience, not a limited dinner. If this new commercial approach is now standard practice, it would be correct to inform customers at the time of booking - as other pizzerias in the area do - so as to be able to better organize times and expectations. It is not pleasant to feel "invited to leave the table" immediately after dinner, especially on such a special occasion. This unkind gesture ruined our evening. Next time I will choose the Pizzeria Mattarana, where, after eating, you can sit and chat and enjoy the company even if you have stopped eating. Because, after all, the memory of a beautiful evening is not only made up of good food, but also of the atmosphere and emotions that you take home.

13/04/2025: La pizza è davvero ottima e il locale molto accogliente. Avevamo prenotato per le 19 di sabato sera: un’occasione speciale, un incontro tra cinque amiche che non si vedevano da vent’anni. Dopo aver gustato le pizze e le bibite, siamo rimaste sedute al tavolo a chiacchierare. Purtroppo, alle 21:30, la proprietaria ci ha invitato ad alzarci con modi piuttosto scortesi, facendoci capire chiaramente che era arrivato il momento del secondo turno. Che delusione e che tristezza! Sono una cliente affezionata di questa pizzeria da molti anni, ma è un peccato constatare che anche la Pizzeria 70 stia adottando la stessa politica di alcune altre pizzerie veronesi: quella di far consumare il pasto entro limiti di tempo. Un locale dovrebbe offrire un’esperienza completa, non una cena a tempo. Se questa nuova impostazione commerciale è ormai prassi, sarebbe corretto informare i clienti già al momento della prenotazione – come fanno altre pizzerie della zona – così da poter organizzare meglio tempi e aspettative. Non è piacevole sentirsi "invitati a lasciare il tavolo" subito dopo cena, soprattutto in un’occasione così speciale. Questo gesto poco cortese ha rovinato la nostra serata. La prossima volta sceglierò la Pizzeria Mattarana, dove, dopo aver mangiato, è possibile rimanere seduti a conversare e godersi la compagnia anche se si e' smesso di consumare. Perché, in fondo, il ricordo di una bella serata non è fatto solo di buon cibo, ma anche dell’atmosfera e delle emozioni che si portano a casa.

10/05/2025: The food was pretty nice but the standards of the service and atmosphere didn’t really match the sophisticated interior design they were trying to exude. The waiter was quite awkward with cutlery thrown haphazardly on the table, there was specks of dirt in my glass and at one point a large bird cage fell on top of a diner. It was like a faulty towers dining experience which made the menu and coperto seem way overpriced at €5 per person. We were quick to leave and note to never come back as soon as we finished our meal. I imagine this place has better days with other staff as they’re usually pretty packed through the days when you walk by.

04/05/2025: First time in Vérona. We found this restaurant close to the arena. We were exceptionally well welcomed, all the staff very attentive, paid attention to every details to make the client feels good. The cuisine, the quality of the food as well as the wine are perfect to discover local specialites with a good price/quality. I recommend. Thanks also to the owner who had very delicate attention to us (we love the elegant wine glassess) he puts my little personal message onto his frame. We'll be back thanks.
