01/05/2026: Former "La Gare" pizzeria under new management. Well-kept atmosphere. Very friendly owner and waitress. Very fast pizza chefs. Pizzas with excellent dough, light with a soft crust. Rich toppings with quality ingredients. Some pizzas may cost 50 cents or 1 euro more than other pizzerias in the area, but it doesn't matter; the quality is worth it. Draft and bottled beers. Outdoor seating available. Hard workers with a genuine smile. WELL DONE. We recommend following their Facebook page for news and pizza evenings.

11/07/2026: Go to downtown Verona to a place called "La tradizione" in dialect, and you'll get a mix of cicchetti (small appetizers) with Russian salad, speck and salsa rosa (a type of salsa rosa), and Greek salad. Then come the meatballs, hastily reheated in the microwave, dry and rubbery. Then the "pinsa": sour tomato sauce and chemically-based cheese. It's a nice place and the staff are friendly, but STOP DESTROYING CULINARY TRADITIONS (precisely) to make easy money off tourists.

19/07/2026: Authentic Malga gnocchi. Superb Ambiate. Fixed menu with gnocchi as a first course and mixed grill as a second course. Dessert and coffee. Beautiful place.

24/07/2026: I'll start by saying I can't confidently reccomend this to people expecting great food. We went for dinner, though it seems like breakfast is more it's strong suit based on other reviews. It reminded us of a Denny's. Food was fine, chicken nuggets tasted like they were frozen and from a box. Pizza was smaller than the Italian average and very greasy, but tasted ok. Salad and spaghetti were good. They gave us packaged parmesean to go with the noodles. Overall, I really wanted to like this place, but it wasn't quite what we were hoping to find on the streets of Bardolino.

08/08/2026: I have never eaten anything so bad in my entire life. The pizza dough was dry, tasteless, and far too thin. The toppings were bland. The pasta tasted only of garlic, even though it wasn't listed in the dish. We left the food and walked out. Communicating with the owner was pointless. The place is dirty, run-down, and has long since outlived even its former budget days. Stay away!

23/08/2025: The owners are always very kind, friendly, and helpful. Parking is very convenient. They offer a wide selection of breads, pizzas, calzones, and pastries. The products are always fresh and reasonably priced. The thick-crust pizza is delicious, a true delight not to be missed.

22/08/2025: We often shop at this bakery. It's never disappointed. Our favorite desserts? Cream Craft and Chantilly cream pastries. But the rest of the items are really good, too. Highly recommended for both sweet and savory treats.
