08/10/2025: Good coffee, but offers few (almost no) gluten-free and vegan options. For us celiacs, it would be great to have a few more choices!

27/08/2025: I've been wanting to try Sri Lankan food for a while, so last night I finally did. The food (kottu mix) is delicious, and the average portion is quite generous for one person. The staff is very friendly. It gave me a taste of the local flavor of Sri Lankan food.

22/04/2025: Arrived Monday night around 9:15 pm and the place was CLOSED! Why don’t these restaurants update their true open hours for some respect to others!

14/05/2025: upon our arrival, after 10 minutes of sitting down a waitress calls us back while we were about to try the franui found in the supermarket next door, at which point we apologize and the waitress leaves without taking our order (the bar was empty), we left. advice: treat customers better and take orders.

04/05/2025: Preso un caffè e un macchiato. TERRIBILI. Caffè acido e bruciato… la qualità e la tostatura del chicco imbarazzanti. Ho dovuto aggiungere il latte al caffè per renderlo bevibile, con scarsi risultati.

10/06/2025: I sit down and order a coffee, specifying “without sugar” (in order to save a minimum of work for the waiter, given the teaspoon and the sachet that I don’t need. It is served to me at the table with a teaspoon and sugar and a receipt for the modest (so to speak) sum of 1.50. There are about 6-7 people in total in the place and there are 3 people working. At a certain point the waiter passes by the tables, while everyone, including me, is drinking/eating saying that “you have to pay now” and when I ask why I am told “to save time”. Obviously everyone is shocked by this absurd request given that it is 5:30 pm and it is certainly not closing time. Exactly the opposite of a relaxing break which is what you look for in a bar/cafeteria like this. Terrible, never again.

08/06/2025: Good croissants and cappuccino too... only the coffee machine attendant is quick... the others get lost in chatter and maybe have 5 people waiting in front of the cash register..

26/04/2025: Die Inneneinrichtung ist ein bisschen unhübsch, aber es gibt auch einen Außenbereich, und Kaffee und Kuchen waren hervorragend. Wenn man in der Nähe ist, handelt es sich um eine gute Gelegenheit für einen Stopp.

06/09/2025: NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. I've been frequenting these pools for years, but in recent years the situation has become unbearable. I've never seen so many flies and mosquitoes as in recent years. I came to relax and find myself having to spend the afternoon fighting to chase away the flies that won't leave you alone for a second. What I'm wondering is if it's possible to get some treatments to solve this problem once and for all.

26/08/2025: Nice pools, but terribly organized. The only attraction is the slide, which, for one excuse or another, is almost never in operation. Today, for example, August 26th, despite the fact that the rules state that it opens at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., it didn't happen. Then, at their discretion, they let children under the regulation height go in, while others aren't allowed. Not to mention the water temperature in the indoor pools, which is truly cold. You spend little, but you also get very little. Never again.

15/09/2025: We had lunch at the Simba Self Service during our visit to Parco Natura Viva. The food was good, with simple but well-prepared dishes and adequate portions. However, what left us perplexed were the prices, which were decidedly excessive for a self-service restaurant within an already expensive facility like the zoo. The service was prompt and the atmosphere functional, but we expected a more balanced pricing policy, considering that most families with children stop here for lunch. Overall, a decent experience, but certainly room for improvement in terms of cost.

09/09/2025: We had a schnitzel with fries, a child's portion of pasta, a bowl that wasn't even 1/4 full, a side salad, potatoes, and three drinks, all for €41.50. For that, I can enjoy an absolutely delicious meal in a beautiful setting by the harbor in Bardolino. The fries were cold, the potatoes were cold and old, the salad was okay. The pasta was cold. Only the schnitzel was okay. A complete rip-off and not recommended. Avoid this "restaurant"!!!!!

18/07/2025: Very good kebab, eaten at midday, very quickly and very tasty. I ordered a piadina and a kebab sandwich to take away. It was the most filling piadina I've ever eaten, but above all, it was very good. I highly recommend it.

21/10/2025: Very cozy cafe. The hot chocolate was excellent. The pizzas are delicious.

29/09/2025: We ate at Al Centrale in Bardolino and were fortunate enough to be served by Ana. She is incredibly warm, attentive, and always with a smile. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. She was always on top of things, quick, professional, and at the same time very charming. Her open and friendly manner made our evening truly special. Thank you so much, dear Ana – because of you, we'll be happy to come back to Al Centrale! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

12/10/2025: A nice enough place, but the prices are a bit excessive (€5 for a cappuccino with cream). But the prices aren't the biggest disappointment. I found the staff to be truly disrespectful and mean; they literally kicked us out of the place (which was also empty). I'm giving it one star out of kindness. Everyone was really unpleasant, except for the waiter, who was super nice.

11/10/2025: The bald waiter lied and said they only accept cash and the price is 30. When I went to the manager, I found out they accept cards and the actual price is 13.

26/08/2025: I only stopped by for ice cream and a lemon and cherry slush, which were very good. The young lady who served me was very good. I'm grateful that she served me in Spanish as well. Now I read the reviews from a year or more ago and see that it was a disaster. I received good service, and the products (ice cream and slush) were decent. The price was €4 each. Normal for such a touristy place. I hope they improve in the future, as the croissants and paninis looked good, although I didn't try them.

16/06/2025: I went to this restaurant for lunch, but they didn't seat me because they explained to me that the restaurant is Asian and only works with people of Asian nationality.

15/05/2025: Very good quality for dinner and very good service. The hotel is not renovated recently but it's ok.

27/08/2025: The atmosphere is really very nice and well-kept, the staff is quite distracted, the food is ok according to the standards.

24/08/2025: Never again. Regular mozzarella passed off as buffalo mozzarella. They call a crust of pasta burned in oil gnocco fritto. €1.90 cover charge for not even a piece of bread. But what cover charge did I pay? Use of the glass, the table, the chair...crazy stuff. To top it all off, I buy a bottle of wine and they charge me €1.25 for the bag and bow without telling me first. For goodness sake.

23/05/2025: I entered this bakery with my disabled mother and my little dog. We sat at a table, we were sent outside because she couldn't sit at a table with the little dog!!!! I have traveled all over Italy and Europe and I have NEVER been turned away for my little dog. Furthermore, there is not even a sign at the entrance. And honestly, that in 2025 there are still places where dogs are not allowed is shocking. Terrible.
