07/04/2025: La Sfera is a typical local pizzeria and restaurant with a wide variety of local cuisine. As one would expect also with an extensive list of wine, especially the local ones. We had the “La sfera” appetizer (delicious!), home made gnocchi and beef main course. Personnel is very friendly. But for a local restaurant it’s a bit pricy.

23/03/2025: I booked for a group and I pointed out that I have celiac disease, only that when the waiter arrives to take the orders I am told that he has to go and check if there are still gluten-free doughs (I repeat, I had booked). The pizza with quality ham arrived well and left a little to be desired, however now it's time for dessert and I order a gluten-free chocolate salami. The waiter arrives with the dish and I ask him to confirm that it is suitable for my problem and I hear him reply: uhm I have to check the cream is gluten-free anyway. But I say is it possible? We're not there. Celiac disease is not a choice but for me it is a serious emergency room problem and luckily everything went well but never again to the ball.

27/09/2025: The kebab might be good, but the service and organization are definitely not up to par, especially when the lady is the only one serving. Unacceptable: she served late-arriving customers first, even though she didn't have any kebabs because she hadn't cooked them in time. It seems like when the manager isn't present, the organization is almost nonexistent. It took 45 minutes to prepare five takeout kebabs, the first one ready 20 minutes before the last one, so you can imagine how hot it must have been.

14/09/2025: The coffee affogato is excellent ice cream, the quantity is excellent, and the table service is excellent. It's a shame about the paper cup.

06/09/2025: A very nice and welcoming place to enjoy excellent croissants, pizza, bread, and other artisanal products. The staff is kind and friendly. The place has plenty of space both inside and outside.

14/09/2025: The redhead and The blond old lady were insanely rude. I asked politely if there is a restroom I could use and I was willing to pay extra or order something, but they didn’t reply so I went to check if they have a restroom myself when they both started yelling and me and calling me names. Even though I didn’t even use it or touch the door. Insane behaviour

06/05/2025: It wasn't much of an experience. Perhaps the worst was seeing the coffee from the machines at breakfast...

30/08/2025: Nice enough place, 1 Spritz and 1 Hugo were watered down for €12, and the fries were a ridiculous portion; if all goes well, there were 6 fries, some of which were soft and had gotten damp. The staff was rude and disorganized; we waited 15 minutes to order. The fries were left out in the open, unhygienic and unappealing. I definitely won't be going there again.

03/10/2025: Never again!!! Their website says the restaurant is open until 2:30 PM. We arrived at 1:45 PM and there were barely any appetizers or main courses. We chose two appetizers, "Affettati italiani" and "Carne salà," 1/4 cup white wine and 1/2 cup red wine. We were sitting outside in the sun at a table, right in front of the very noisy SS12 highway. The terrace is beautiful; next to the restaurant is their private dog kennel! When it came to paying, you couldn't pay with your debit card! The waiter said it was written in front of the counter, but it wasn't true; there was no sign. Plus, it must be said that the menu didn't list any wines! The cover charge was €3 per person for a tablecloth and a paper napkin—so much for that. Restaurants that provide a tablecloth and a cloth napkin, how much should they charge for a cover charge—€10 each? The waiter wanted €44 in cash from my husband. For our "menu," he returned from the register with a piece of paper—the register doesn't work, so no receipt!!! At this point, I got angry and told the waiter that we don't go there without a receipt! He replied that at this point the cost of our snack was €48, not just €44. I said I hadn't asked for a discount, but that I wanted a receipt, giving him the remaining €4—oddly enough, the register worked! I honestly wonder if the restaurant owners know that in Italy you have to pay taxes! Once upon a time, at the "La Chiusa" restaurant, we had a delicious lunch with a kind and honest owner!! Times gone by that no longer exist!!

29/09/2025: The pizza arrived completely raw. I called to report it, as my family and I have been ordering from them for years, and they said, "I can't understand how this could have happened."

21/06/2025: We have always had pizza here, and we have always liked it, tonight we went back after a while that we had not been, rubbery and tasteless pizza. Low quality ingredients and in relation to the price it is not worth it at all. I spent €9.50 for a salami + philadelphia of which €7.50 for salami and for the addition of the Philadelphia €2.00 considering that it was not Philadelphia and that it almost seemed like a separate cheese, as if it had not been stored well. As if they had changed the quality of the ingredients but without adjusting the prices, which with this quality are truly exaggerated.

22/10/2025: Excellent piadina, good-quality ingredients. The prosciutto is delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff.

13/10/2025: I understand why they're starting to use robots to make cocktails, pizza, etc. I'd also recommend it at the Adige piadineria! Three takeout piadinas, two of which were bad: a "papripollo" without arugula and zucchini, which we found to be normal (allergy issue). "Bel paese" with mushrooms, just "bel paese." Whole wheat pasta finished, oh well. The receipt was marked with the various price increases (rightly so), too bad they weren't included in the piadinas. Tried calling to report them, no response!

11/10/2025: We first visited the restaurant five years ago and were thrilled to be eating there again. We were extremely disappointed. The waitress was completely inattentive when ordering; I'm still waiting for my straw. The bread with the carpasco was hard. The portions were children's portions, and they weren't even enough to fill them up. After paying, we stood up, and the waiter pushed in between us to clear the table. Absolutely unacceptable. Walk a few steps toward the harbor; you'll be better off there. Never again, and we're not picky eaters.

12/10/2025: I'm shocked by the five-star reviews I see: people have truly low standards. However, the food here isn't bad in itself; it's edible, and based on your tastes, I'd give it a rating somewhere between 5.5 and 6. The real problem is the price: everything is incredibly expensive, and at that point, considering the food is barely adequate, the overall rating can only fall below three stars... For goodness sake, if you have no other options, perhaps late at night, it can be a last-minute snack. But be sure to check if it's your last stop, because there are definitely better options in the area... like Panzerotti No Limits, which is just a short walk away. PS: Fried foods are not recommended. I paid €9.50 for a potato and speck rosti, 3 breaded mozzarella balls, 3 Ascoli olives and a supplì: they were all very greasy and soft... go to Panzerè instead

11/10/2025: Horrible fried food, mediocre pizza, and ingredients of questionable freshness. I especially recommend checking your bill carefully before paying.

28/09/2025: Unfortunately for whatever reason all power outlets are covered, for someone like me wanting to relax for hour not being able to charge my phone meant after my first purchase I took my business elsewhere. Edit: Review score lowered due to response to review. I originally thought the staff were friendly and scored service highly perhaps I misunderstood due to language barrier. The response tells me differently. I would encourage any would be customers to try another cafe 2 mins down the street for excellent service. In a city of nice cafés there is always a rotten apple it seems.
