10/11/2025: A bar frequented by racist and arrogant people! Last Saturday, I was in downtown Verona with a group of friends from all over Italy to celebrate a friend's birthday. Unfortunately, the evening was marred by an extremely sad incident that should never have happened, especially not in a city as beautiful as Verona. A man in his forties, clearly drunk and, judging by his demeanor, probably a regular, began harassing the birthday girl and all of us. (He resembled the actor Zach Galifianakis, with short hair and a beard.) He popped a balloon she had with her and insulted us, even calling one of us a "gay." We tried to ignore him and leave, but shortly after, he returned with a rose from which he had removed all the petals and began shouting and provoking us again. Finally, he even rubbed the rest of the rose in the birthday girl's face. ... When one of my friends told him to stop and gently pushed him away, about twenty aggressive, intoxicated men suddenly appeared, defending the drunk. They began hurling racist and territorial insults at us, such as, "This is our home," "We're in charge here," and "Go back to your country." They surrounded us and pushed us to the end of the street, across from Piazza Erbe, even preventing us from getting a friend who was in the restroom. One of them also tried to singe a friend's coat and the remaining balloons with a cigarette. Honestly, if I had a drunk friend who provoked and harassed other people for no reason, I would take him aside and make him stop. I certainly wouldn't encourage his behavior. But apparently, for some people, the world works the other way around. It was a scene rife with racism, arrogance, and utterly senseless violence that nearly ruined a pleasant evening. Since almost all the customers were holding real glass glasses, the situation could easily have escalated into a catastrophe. The incident occurred right in front of the bar, which was completely packed. In my opinion, such crowded places absolutely need security personnel or trained supervisors who can intervene immediately in such situations. I'm someone who travels a lot and has visited many bars and clubs in different cities and countries, but I've never experienced anything so disgusting. A truly sad and shameful incident that simply shouldn't happen in our time. Especially in 2025, when you'd expect people to have progressed, not regressed. No one should feel threatened or insulted during a harmless night out, and certainly not in their own city, especially when there were locals among us.

31/03/2026: One of my favorite places to eat Chinese food in and around Villafranca. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, the place is clean, and the menu offers a wide selection of Chinese cuisine and sushi. The quality is good and the price is excellent. Highly recommended!

18/03/2026: We've been to this restaurant a few times, ordering meat, fish, pizza, and even paella to take away. Everything is always very good. The service is attentive, and the dining room is large and well-soundproofed. In short, we'll happily return when we want to spend an evening at a restaurant. We recommend it.

03/09/2025: This café exudes vacation! As soon as you walk in, Italian music and a rustic, beachy decor invite you to linger. The lady at the bar is a real sweetheart! She welcomes her guests warmly, the drinks are as full as anywhere else, and the value for money is simply top-notch! We've been incredibly impressed and happy every time we've been there. You get value for your money here! The locals themselves enjoy going there, which further adds to the Italian flair.

13/04/2026: Very cosy and romantic restaurant. Ideal for couples. We aimed at fish dishes and they were fantastic (cappellacci and tuna). Absence in the list of a crudite is a major flaw...I must say, considering the high standard of the place...dessert choice is rather limited or...limited to a 1 (one!) Tray of 5 different mini desserts. However, in my opinion, a choice of 2 3 main desserts a la carte should be warranted in such a restaurant. In fact, it is on the pricey side, some 100+ pp, which is acceptable for the high quality of the food but the two black holes above (crudite and desserts selection) should and can be avoided in such a place.

07/05/2026: Found it by chance for lunch while traveling with family. They offer a set lunch menu with a wide selection of first and second courses. The staff is very friendly and everything is delicious. Highly recommended.

05/05/2026: I had dinner with my family celebrating a birthday. The pizza was good, but the service was terrible (2.30 cover charge). The waitress who took our order didn't even ask what we wanted, almost acting annoyed (she seemed snubbed). Immediately after serving us the cake, they started clearing away wine glasses, glasses, and empty bottles, as if to signal that we were getting up and going home. Which I don't think is really fair for a restaurant. Another point: we had the cake brought to us from the bakery; they charged us a service charge for cutting it: 1.30 per person. I really don't think I'll be back.

11/05/2026: I stayed there with my son for the Verona Reptiles. The location was perfect, 6 km from the fairgrounds, very convenient! The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was simple but basic. Recommended!

11/06/2026: Time for an aperitif before dinner. Seated on the terrace, a gust of wind suddenly appeared, and we were invited inside to finish our meal. Cozy decor. Very attentive waiter. We had a lovely hour.

12/12/2025: I can only give full marks to a restaurant that feels familiar and old-fashioned. The walls are covered with actors and presenters who have made Italian television history, guiding you through simple yet perfectly cooked food. The owner is very kind, discreet, and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing, with virtually no noise, nothing to complain about. The house wine is also good. Congratulations, we'll be back soon!

30/11/2025: A group of 27 people were forced to choose a fixed menu... Despite this, disorganized, terrible food, and tiny portions. AVOID ABSOLUTELY.

21/04/2026: Linus Pizzicotto pizza is the pizza of my childhood: every time I eat it, I travel back in time. It's always delicious, with that unmistakable flavor. A sure thing, one of those pizzas you know will never disappoint.
