Spectacular food, place and service

Borderline – excellent food at a reasonable price, attentive service – but: when an extra €10 is added to the bill because of a change to the menu (which was agreed upon beforehand), it ruins the evening. I felt ripped off – a shame, but that was the last time.

Imaginative and extremely kind. Exceptional food. Their passion for hospitality and fine dining shines through. Excellent, a must-try.

I used to frequent this restaurant many years ago and had fond memories of it. Returning after such a long time was a wonderful surprise: the restaurant has evolved, the menu has changed, and the format has been revamped, but it has retained its soul and the quality I remembered. I found the atmosphere elegant and refined, yet welcoming and comfortable. The staff was impeccable: attentive, professional, discreet, and caring. You can sense their passion, attention to detail, and desire to offer an experience that goes beyond a simple meal. Congratulations to the entire team for their work. I will definitely return and recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a wonderful experience in a special atmosphere.

During a trip to Verona, we chose to dine at this Osteria. Their website already shows the quality of the cuisine, and our expectations were fully met! An extraordinary location, crowded but welcoming, cramped but fairytale-like... one-of-a-kind, but a detail I noticed as soon as I sat in. The place is immaculately clean, something not to be underestimated given the abundance of objects and plants. Congratulations! As for the food, it's all excellent quality and reasonably priced. I've read reviews that are completely pointless, probably written by people who have no idea how much the raw ingredients cost and the attention to detail that goes into creating a dish! Yes, they deserve to be in the Michelin Guide... congratulations, we'll be back!

The restaurant is very attractive and well-maintained. They even have a sort of mini veranda outside decorated with climbing plants, all very pleasant and tastefully done, creating a great atmosphere. The staff is very competent and friendly, perhaps a little pushy in asking for extra dishes. The food is average but good, with dishes a bit sophisticated and "not abundant," so to speak. I found the prices a bit excessive for my standards, unfortunately I think this is due to the proximity to the historic center. Tagliatelle with courtyard ragù was €20, main courses were all €30, and the cover charge was €5 per person. Besides that, the thing that struck me most was paying a whopping €21 for two glasses of wine and a liter of water. Far be it from me to complain; in the end, the price is set by the seller; in Verona, however, you can find even nicer places with a much better quality/price ratio.

As novices at trendy restaurants, we all had a wonderful time. The waiter was kind and smiling, appreciating our naiveté about this world, which is a bit beyond our means. The two dishes we tasted delighted our taste buds. The wine was marvelous, and the waiter's knowledge of its service was top-notch. Thank you, sir, for your amused demeanor. I might just give up on pizzas. Thank you, Verona, and thank you, Osteria de la Fontina. And... I love taking pictures of my discoveries, and this magnificent vintage kitsch decor is perfect for it. Very cosy and romantic restaurant. Ideal for couples. We aimed at fish dishes and they were fantastic (cappellacci and tuna). Absence in the list of a crudite is a major flaw...I must say, considering the high standard of the place...dessert choice is rather limited or...limited to a 1 (one!) Tray of 5 different mini desserts. However, in my opinion, a choice of 2 3 main desserts a la carte should be warranted in such a restaurant. In fact, it is on the pricey side, some 100+ pp, which is acceptable for the high quality of the food but the two black holes above (crudite and desserts selection) should and can be avoided in such a place.
