06/04/2026: We set off from the Barmasc parking lot and walked through the woods along the stream until we reached the spot. We took a few minutes to enjoy the view and rest, then ordered our meal. We ate it on the lounge chairs overlooking Monte Rosa. The experience, food, and location were wonderful! Definitely worth a try!

08/05/2026: Excellent service and delicious food for just €13 if you choose the daily menu. The place is always very busy and has a casual atmosphere. As a regular, I can say I've never had a single complaint.
06/05/2026: Wow! After several less-than-satisfactory meals in the region, we finally ended up at this place, which almost feels like a village festival, with authentic food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. We'll be back next time we're in the Aosta Valley! Well done 👍🏼

My partner and I stayed here for the first time, and we really enjoyed it, as if we were at home. Excellent service, a gorgeous room, a truly top-notch breakfast, and the silence throughout made it a top choice.
Wonderful is an understatement!
The attention to every little detail, the beauty and elegance of a healthy breakfast.

03/05/2026: Only visited the restaurant. If you are looking for local specialties, I don't think you will find it better anywhere else. Good food and fine wines. A downside is the lack of non-alcoholic alternatives to wine with the dishes. Only water or soft drinks. And the decor is a bit old-fashioned with dated red chairs. But the food is top-notch.

10/08/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance and had a wonderful time. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, the service is quick, and the quality of the food (all homemade) is in perfect harmony with the prices.
Every dish we tried had a unique flavor, from appetizers to desserts, prepared with extreme care and presented beautifully.
The only flaw is that the lighting is a little dim for my taste, but it's perfectly suited to the mountain setting.
We'll definitely be back!
10/08/2026: A curious and pleasant surprise at La Salle, a typical Aosta Valley menu with a touch of Sardinian!
Homemade bread and breadsticks, fresh pasta.
We returned a few days later to try the fondue, which was excellent.
Intimate atmosphere and welcoming staff.

10/05/2026: Gorgeous place, clean and not too chaotic.
We ordered a pretzel and fries for appetizers, and for mains we had the roast beef mille-feuille and the potato rosti with feta and cherry tomatoes.
Everything was cooked to perfection and paired with two excellent local beers.
Highly recommended if you're visiting Aosta.

There were six of us; my husband and I had the platter of homemade cured meats and cheeses, followed by a plate of maltagliati with nettle cream and melted bleu d'Aost cheese (I think that's how it's spelled, I don't remember exactly), and a plate of tagliatelle with venison ragù (unfortunately, I don't have a photo). I assure you, everything was delicious. Then we had the venison fillet with chocolate sauce and red berries on top. Unfortunately, you can see in the photo that I had already cut it into pieces; it was delicious! The village is a medieval one, and the historic center is not accessible by car. Very quaint!
03/04/2026: This restaurant is located in a renovated house dating back to 1695, preserving the original features. Excellent, quality food. We celebrated our birthday with a fantastic cake!

08/03/2026: I ordered fondue (the restaurant's signature dish) for two, which wasn't bad in itself, but compared to four years ago, they "forgot" to bring me much of the dipping sauce. For €60, they served us a few thin slices of mocetta and a bowl of bread cubes... for two. When I asked for more, they brought me another bowl of bread, 20 minutes later with the fondue cold. The Bellevue (the owner) is an excellent 5-star hotel. This is my third year coming here, and I don't think the management of this restaurant is still up to par with its standard of service.
27/02/2026: The place is very cute and typical of the area.
The food is very good and not expensive, but the cheeses are a bit pricey for the quantity.
The polenta is also a bit pricey, but the other dishes are reasonably priced.
Overall, however, we found the quality/price ratio to be more fair than the competition.

01/07/2026: Truly excellent. Very convenient location. Excellent service. We went with a small child and they prepared a special dish for him. Everything was freshly cooked. The atmosphere is very elegant, and it's lovely to be able to see the kitchen and the chefs at work from the dining room.
