A casual lunch while strolling through on a Sunday.
From the outside, the first impression isn't the best—a bit shabby, a bit old-fashioned.
Inside, it's clean and well-kept, perhaps not mountain-inspired, but pleasant.
The menu features dishes from the Aosta Valley and Piedmont, and upon reservation, the Piedmontese-style fritto misto is also available.
We tried the cheese platter with jams: truly excellent.
The pasta dishes were decidedly generous and tasty; the fettuccine with venison was excellent, made in a very homemade way, as befits a trattoria. The same goes for the pappardelle with mushrooms.
Unfortunately, I didn't try the meats with polenta, but I'll be back to try them.
Reasonable prices, friendly service.

We went for dinner today, and had a great time. The staff was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. The appetizers were excellent, including the polenta concia, tagliatelle with venison, and the desserts. We'll definitely be back, and we recommend the place.
