If you possibly can, have a meal here. In busy seasons you will have to book. We were fortunate to be staying only a 20 minutes walk away. Don't be afraid to ask advice about appropriate wine as this is the best way of trying the local vineyards great produce.

I really enjoyed dining here because the staff is extremely kind and hospitable, and the dishes are traditional but with a few unique twists (the desserts are out of this world and very unique).
The traditional atmosphere, the excellent food, and the owner's warm welcome will definitely make me return, see you next time!

We stopped for lunch at this small and welcoming restaurant last Sunday after skiing on the splendid Champlong (Verrayes) cross-country ski trail, located a few kilometers higher up. The experience was absolutely satisfying. We ate lunch next to a lovely fireplace in a cozy, quiet, and clean restaurant with attractive mountain-style decor. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety and sophistication of the dishes offered, as well as their excellent preparation and quality. We also greatly appreciated the kindness and hospitality of the person who welcomed and served us.

The price is more than adequate for the menu offerings and the quality of the ingredients.
The fillet steak with grolla sauce and the black bread ice cream alone deserve five stars.

A very nice, intimate, and welcoming restaurant. The owner is a delightful and helpful person; it was a pleasure chatting and sampling his restaurant's offerings. The culinary offerings range from traditional to innovative. I especially enjoyed the pork tenderloin alla grolla, which I found truly unique. The black bread ice cream was also delicious. The wine list was also excellent; I drank an exceptional Vuillermin! The bill was fair, and I really appreciated the discount and the complimentary liqueur, a sign of someone who cares about their customers. See you soon, and thank you.
