This had been our favorite stop in Aosta for many years. A huge disappointment on our last visit; the quality of the pizzas has dropped considerably and the toppings are practically non-existent.

We often return when we're in Aosta and are always quite satisfied. I recommend the mushroom pappardelle en cocotte and the tagliata. The staff is very knowledgeable and always offers good advice.

02/01/2026: A refuge nestled at the foot of the Mont Blanc glacier. A charming spot with excellent food. You'll find traditional dishes as well as alternatives to the classic dishes featuring local cheeses. You can reach the place on foot via a long but stunning hike through the entire Val Veny, or, as we did, by mountain bike rented in the valley. You can safely store your bike. The service is fast, young, and attentive, and the place is very clean. Accommodation is available on the upper floor for those who want to continue exploring the valley on subsequent days. Highly recommended.
