Confused by the other reviews. This is a very cute caffe with very friendly service. Good music and atmosphere. Cheese was excellent, we had 2 pasta dishes that were great as well. Touristy area so slightly higher prices but great choice overall!

I am so surprised to read such awful reviews because this little restaurant is nothing like that at least from our experience. We loved our pastas. They were so delicious and the woman that served us was kind and met our requests. We would definitely come back!

We went in for lunch on a Saturday that was very crowded everywhere, we were struck by the hospitality and kindness of the staff despite being under stress from the super crowds. Average times, excellent wines at an honest price and what can I say... we were impressed by the more than excellent cuisine with excellent raw materials! (we ate worse in more prestigious restaurants) Note of credit to the owner who is super attentive to every detail during the service. Highly recommended!!

Posto veramente delizioso come la maggior parte dei localini di pienza, servizio molto buono personale qualificato, cortese e gentile, sicuramente su questo nulla da dire, piccoli accorgimenti sui tempi di attesa veramente lunghi almeno al nostro tavolo, l’antipasto di affettati e formaggi si è fatto attendere per parecchio tempo, capisco magari i primi o secondi dove ci può essere un’elaborazione diversa ma per pietanze già pronte mi aspetto un tempo di servizio diverso, altro accorgimento a mio avviso prezzi elevati sempre per le altre esperienze avute a Pienza dove si può mangiare molto di più e spendere molto meno. Nel complesso non ho disprezzato i primi ma visto la vastità di attività di ristorazione sceglierei altro.

Bel locale, con tavoli esterni in una piazzetta intima. Ottima qualità della materia prima, prezzi in linea con gli altri locali del posto.

Very charming place in the beautiful city of Pienza, relatively small outdoor seats and nice lighting. Our service was nice - a bit surprised to read the comments (yet the professional distance might be seen as cold by some). We only took primi’s and these pastas were great... Only Scarpetta (getting the very last taste out of the plate).

25/03/2024: The view is very nice, but spoiled by tour buses that come thru, 60 folks at a time and drown the place. Also, giant trash bins on the right don't add much. The food is ok (bruschetta), not great, too salty, we can make it at home as good, but very expensive (13E!). The coffee is not good either, too cold, too small, too expensive (3E). Service was very friendly. Only one WC upstairs, but at least there is one. But, again, the view is nice. But not that nice. The duomo is far off in the distance, the area around is mostly park. (We brought our own food, made the obligatory buy, seems appropriate here).
06/03/2024: They said the card didn't go through and they charged again.

12/10/2023: Little gem that no one seems to know about? Cacio e Pepe was fabulous…. Nice wine and caprese too….. great atmosphere….check it out…..
21/09/2023: Eine wunderschöne Nische abseits vom Touristentrubel. Man sitzt sehr gemütlich etwas abseits und trotzdem hat man das Gefühl, mittendrin zu sein. Die Karte ist klein aber fein. Das Saltimbocca und das scaloppine al Limone sind ein Traum. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis für Siena absolut ok. Wir waren 2x da und würden auch wiederkommen.
