25/12/2025: I got takeout for Christmas. I'm disabled. The meat was horrible, the ground meat tasted like dog food. The smell was nauseating. I'm surprised by all the reviews. Not recommended.

07/03/2026: Saturday night, the place was packed. Unfortunately, there were only two people, or maybe even just one, taking our orders. Our order wasn't taken until an hour after we'd sat down. We could have easily left, but we were with friends, and not everyone was happy to leave. Other than that, the food was very good.

15/02/2026: Spartaco is the kind of good morning that makes you feel at peace with the world. The aperitifs are excellent, carefully prepared and made with love; the service is friendly and always attentive, and the food puts you back on track. I highly recommend this bar.

03/10/2025: Fantastic pizza! Worth a visit. I went back yesterday after six years. The pizza is still delicious. We also tried the carbonara, which was amazing. The house white wine was perfect. Very friendly service. When in Volterra, be sure to stop by for a bite to eat :)

03/09/2025: From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once inside, it more than makes up for it. The pizza was very tasty, but the seafood spaghetti was worth a solid 10 stars. "Grandma" is a very good and flavorful cook. So, I'll go there again to try out the rest. I'm already looking forward to it.

16/09/2025: Let's say it's not bad, but I definitely won't be returning. I ask about the appetizer of the day to see what it consists of, and the waitress replies, "It depends on what's available that morning." So I reply, "What did you find this morning?" But I never received an answer. She replies, "It depends" again... it's not entirely her fault, but at least let her know... oh well, this appetizer arrives with just four measly little pieces of assorted food. It's not bad, for goodness' sake, but it's a tiny bit on a huge plate that looks like a slate tile... spectacular, but lacking substance. Let's get to the first course: shrimp risotto with a hint of citrus, etc., etc. The risotto arrives. It looks like plain rice with cherry tomatoes, a hint of citrus, but no shrimp... not even a hint. I ask for a menu because maybe I misread it. The girl comes over with the menu in her hand, already open to the first course page, and asks me "what's wrong?" And I didn't want to check what I ordered. I must have made a mistake... oh, no, shrimp risotto, but there aren't any, and the waitress says, "The shrimp are in the sauce." Yes, but not on the plate... they must have been left in the kitchen. What can I say, and she repeats it several times. If it's a cartoon made with shells, say so, but don't write shrimp... basically, she puts her hands in front of me, takes the plate while I was talking, and says, "Shall I take it away? YES THANKS." But she made it all herself. A silly, overcooked risotto without shrimp... and it's expensive, I really won't eat it. However, she was upset and didn't serve our table again. I feel sorry for her, but the answers she gave and her behavior are also not good. Train the waitresses better so they know what they're serving and never put their hands in front of anyone unless asked. The fried food was good, nothing to complain about, but the service... let's forget it. I felt like I was being pushed out into the street with people watching. I think they made a bad impression. Maybe they'll say two plus two makes no difference, but I really felt accused... There are so many restaurants where everyone is kind, they don't talk back to customers, and the food is better...

23/10/2025: I was there on July 14, 2024, after a cycling competition I participated in. I went with my family to enjoy the sea a bit, but after a few hours there, the owner, very rude and impolite, told me that I couldn't leave my bicycle under the umbrella because it's not allowed. I said yes, but I won't leave it in the sun and far from where I can see it because it costs a lot of money to be stolen. Either you give me a place or somewhere I can put it. Then he told me to put it on the… . By the pool area, the owner is much nicer and solves the problem. But yes, I wouldn't go back!

20/12/2025: Hi, before writing this review I waited until I went a second time... the menu isn't that great, there's no choice, the prices are quite high, and the food... I personally didn't like anything. They don't even open the wine for you at the table, they open it behind you, which isn't good. Management has changed, and it shows. I hope they change something for them.

14/02/2026: Great place! The people are very welcoming and friendly. Everything is delicious and freshly made. I recommend the truffle pasta.

12/07/2025: I didn't really like the pizza, but I did like the rest... the meatballs and frese were delicious! 5 stars to the young waiter who arrived whatever I asked for in a flash! (For example, water for the dog or help warming the bottle!) The terrace was beautiful.

20/10/2025: The best aperitif in Tirrenia both for the drinks taken care of by Laura (very attentive and attention to detail), and for the food taken care of by Luca (fried pasta, Pisan pizza, stuffed pizza, fried polenta, etc. etc.), and then there is also the excellent ice cream always made by them.
