Il ristorante, nel centro di Volterra, non molto distante da piazza dei Priori, è elegante, sia come allestimento che come servizio. La qualità degli alimenti è indiscutibile, visto che il ristorante è collegato con un'azienda agricola dei dintorni. Ottimi i pici alla carbonara e gli gnocchi con cavolo e noci.

The restaurant, in the center of Volterra, not far from Piazza dei Priori, is elegant, both in terms of layout and service. The quality of the food is indisputable, given that the restaurant is connected to a nearby farm. The pici carbonara and the gnocchi with cabbage and walnuts are excellent.

Siamo stati qui io e il mio fidanzato; nonostante fossimo senza prenotazione il cameriere gentilissimo ci ha chiesto di attendere e ci ha trovato un tavolo nella tavernetta. Abbiamo preso un antipasto di Tartare e un primo (per me zuppa Volterrana e per il mio fidanzato pappardelle con ragù bianco di chianina: tutto veramente molto buono e il prezzo è equo alla qualità dei prodotti. Credo che ripassando da Volterra prenoteremo un tavolo! Bravi ragazzi.

Antonio and Sara are wonderful people and great hosts. The kitchen is true Italian, sustainable, outstanding in quality and taste and the wine menu offers good items for any budget.

03/04/2024: 5 stars+ only for the meat. Excellent service, distinguished, friendly and helpful staff. The starter I recommend is the trio of tartare, perhaps the best I have ever tasted. Good, well-worked meat. The appetizer platterX2 was plentiful. Tagliolini a little too buttery. Gnocchi good but a little dull. The grilled fillet was exceptional, buttery, even if the cooking was not medium as requested but more rare. Fried rabbit perhaps with excessive breading but good. The final chocolate cake was a little dry but still good. Good house wine. Despite some imperfections in some dishes I was truly delighted by this place and the dishes served, especially the meat. I recommend that owners make a playlist of lounge music or other calm music to enjoy the atmosphere more.
29/03/2024: We went on a Saturday: we had a very good starter and the catch of the day, which was also delicious. The only sore points were the somewhat slow service and not very tolerable noise. Overall it is recommended.

18/02/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo in famiglia e abbiamo trovato un posto molto tranquillo e la signora (di cui non ho chiesto il nome) molto molto gentile! Abbiamo mangiato un buono spaghetto allo scoglio noi e i bambini e una buona frittura a testa con patatine fritte e insalata. Finito con dei buonissimi dolci ( tira2e panna cotta alle fragole). Lo consiglio vivamente. Sia per la gentilezza che la bontà dei piatti ma anche e soprattutto per il prezzo!! Ci torneremo anche se siamo un. Po' distanti 😊
