The place has now changed management and is called IR PASTAIO: now it's definitely very convenient. Basically, you choose the fresh pasta from the counter and the dish is then served in the type you like (carbonara, ragù di mucco, etc.). For just €6, for example, they'll get you a huge plate of caciuccata di fusilli!!! Really well prepared!!! Far from the crazy prices of many restaurants... Highly recommended place and unfortunately not advertised enough. For like €10 you can have pasta and dessert 👍👍👍

The food is plain perfect. Quality al dente pasta, the sugos are incredible, at least the two were such that we tried: pacchero with Cacciucata and the Ravioli di Baccala. Of course, for this low price you get paper plates, plastic utensils, etc. but if you're after the food itself, you won't regret dropping in for a (somewhat larger) bite.

04/05/2026: We stopped here on our way back from Piombino. Our friends had already been there, and they gave us good recommendations! We had a choice between a Florentine steak and an excellent €28 menu with an appetizer, pasta, and sliced ​​steak, all very filling. Friendly and courteous service, plenty of parking, highly recommended!
24/03/2026: It's always a pleasure to return to this restaurant every time I travel through Italy. If I can, I go to eat the grilled Fiorentina steak with all their other dishes.
