09/10/2025: The place not to be missed in Pontedera. Very friendly staff and a super welcoming atmosphere!

05/10/2025: The only kind and friendly waiters were the ones who were there. Terrible food, but the friendliness was a no-go. The place was empty, and we sat at the door with the cold behind us. Highly recommended if you want to waste your money.

27/07/2025: Unfortunately, although we've been there before, I'm sorry to note that the quality of the food has deteriorated. The price is disproportionate for the setting and the type of service. A 30 euro steak among the many different dishes ordered is even more excessive if the steak isn't shown to the customer (who in this case was a young girl) first to weigh the quality and price... The appetizers in oil from the supermarket are unbearable. I'll pay 15 euro for the butter and sage ravioli if they're homemade, not if they're supermarket-bought ones with questionable taste, except for the butter. Cheese to be put on a plate of spaghetti, in a cold bowl from the fridge with a spoon in it... In short, if it's a trattoria, it must maintain its charm and characteristics... 150 euros for a family of four, one of whom is a child, who only tried a first course and a half-liter of house wine... seems excessive to me... a lot; If only there had been some air conditioning instead of fans... The pizzo truffle saved us...for the modest sum of 5 euros each...but it was good.

20/07/2025: We've been there twice in the space of a year, and unfortunately the second time was a disappointment... A paltry appetizer with 1 slice of ham per person, one of salami, one of lard, one of mortadella, a small bowl of panzanella for 4-5 people, a small plate of mixed aubergines and courgettes for 5; then a small piece of rostinciana, a sausage, a small piece of chicken per person... And not even cooked well, 5 baked potatoes per person... Slow service... 25 euros seems excessive to me... Oh well... This time it went like this

13/08/2025: Zero stars, it's horrible, and what happened to me was horrifying. We ordered 7 pizzas and some cecina, I received 4 pizzas, and the courier told me another order would arrive later. Later, I received an email saying the pizzas wouldn't arrive, and I was refunded. All this while waiting an hour. Terrifying.

04/08/2025: I ordered 8 pizzas on Deliveroo and they were delivered in two orders, one at 8:00 PM and the other at 8:18 PM. Obviously the quality of the food suffered, and I don't know if it's Deliveroo's fault or the restaurant's.

11/10/2025: This restaurant has amazing food, friendly staff, and great service. 🍕🍝🍺 The prices are reasonable, so I ended up visiting twice during my short stay. 😊

08/10/2025: Good prices for being right next door. You can have breakfast and lunch overlooking the tower without paying a fortune. The coffee and cake were delicious.

21/09/2025: A restaurant and pizzeria serving authentic traditional Tuscan cuisine. High-quality ingredients. A family atmosphere, even the furnishings, transport you straight back to the 1980s, even with a retro feel. Many years of experience in the industry ensure excellent, fast, and efficient service thanks to a superbly organized kitchen and a superbly managed dining room, even in a packed restaurant like last night. When everything is authentic in the truest sense of the word, frills are unnecessary.

06/07/2025: Historic restaurant in the Poggio Adorno woods. Traditional dishes in abundant quantities. The famous boscaiola is top, definitely worth trying. Friendly service. The atmosphere is beautiful especially in summer when dinner is eaten on the veranda. It's a shame not to have the menu available, it doesn't give value to a place with so much potential.

10/09/2025: Average restaurant, basic fast food. The cook smoking a cigarette behind the stove doesn't whet the appetite.

07/09/2025: The food was delicious. Fresh ingredients, well-seasoned. Nice ambiance. Service was not very enthusiastic.

04/09/2025: Beautiful seating area right near a good viewpoint. Fancy people watching? You got it. I tried a lobster linguine for the first time. It was beautifully cooked and fun to eat. The staff were very friendly. In the afternoon from 12ish it gets quite busy.

31/08/2025: My partner and I had lunch this afternoon at this restaurant just steps from the historic center of Volterra: Pici with Cacio e Pepe and Spaghetti alla Carbonara were truly EXCEPTIONAL!!! Furthermore, the owner, his wife, and all the staff are very professional and friendly.

22/07/2025: I'm very sorry to give it only 2 stars, but I came in this morning curious about the cheeses (I'm a chef), but I found the clerk to be really rude and uninterested in providing information about the products. I waited quite a while at the counter while watching a young man spin mozzarella: a beautiful dairy product, excellent cheeses, but it's a shame about the kindness and competence of the service 🤷‍♀️

06/03/2025: I went to eat at this restaurant one evening in February (recommended by friends). Table for two. But I have to say, I didn't enjoy the experience. The menu wasn't very rich in choice, the quality was very low, and the service was very slow despite the small number of customers that evening. Furthermore, many of the food didn't arrive in full, and the little that did arrive wasn't what we ordered. The staff was inattentive.

22/03/2025: We stopped by chance, but it was a pleasant discovery: the pastry shop is excellent, and the staff is kind and helpful. Recommended.

14/10/2025: There was a wonderful person attending us last night. Thanks to him my family had a wonderful experience with their food. The food was also wonderful, especially the Carbomare! Is was a carbonara with sea food. So delicious!!

12/10/2025: A casual place, great for families, offering pizza, sandwiches, and other restaurant dishes. The portions are generous and the flavors are fabulous. Unfortunately, the wait staff isn't very experienced, and even though they try their best, they get confused as soon as it gets crowded. The owners are very friendly.

04/08/2025: Very well-kept and welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor space is delightful. My compliments to the Chef, the true "diamond" of this place, he is an exquisite person and highly professional. We had lunch with a fish-based menu. The dishes were well-prepared with fresh products, excellent quality/price ratio. It is a place where one will gladly return. Thank you for the hospitality and for the good food, See you soon.
