The Hotel Galilei in Pisa is a good place for a short stay, especially if proximity to the airport is important. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is rather average—the selection could be wider, but the very good coffee is a big plus. The location is convenient for accessing the airport, although walking isn't easy.

The room was clean and spacious enough. The bed was large, but it had two mattresses, which wasn't very comfortable. The hot water wasn't constant. The breakfast wasn't exceptional.

Clean hotel, good breakfast, well-maintained rooms, and very friendly staff. This hotel is perfect for those traveling by plane and needing to stay right next to the airport. It's noisy due to air traffic, but I have to say it's not too loud. The only downside is the price; €90 a night is a bit high in my opinion. At that price, I expect a little more.

The hotel is spread across several floors. The rooms are modern, and the bathrooms are meticulously maintained. Impeccably clean. The elevator is a bit dated but functional. The only flaw is the on-site restaurant. The menu is fixed, sparse, and slightly above average. The quality of the dishes and the atmosphere are truly welcoming, filled with unique paintings.

22/02/2026: After a day of walking through one of the medieval villages, in my opinion the most beautiful, Volterra, we stopped for dinner, and among the many places that Volterra offers, we chose, UN SACCO GOLOSO, with a traditional menu, the well-kept place, with tables also outside, but we preferred to eat inside, also given the temperature outside. We had gnocchi with mushrooms and truffle, pici cacio e pepe, and pappardelle with wild boar sauce, accompanied by fried potatoes and water. We ate the potatoes, while we waited for the first courses to be brought to us, the wait was not long, just the time to cook the pasta and bring it to the tables. Everything was very good, the scent of truffle in addition to the flavor was delicious, not to mention the pici cacio pepe, tasty and well peeled, and to finish the tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, all the plates were cleaned and mopped up with bread. Everything was very delicious.
