23/03/2025: Sono stata da Bulli e Balene per un aperitivo ed un buon negroni. Non mi hanno delusa, posto super carino, personale super cortese e cicchetti e tramezzini buonissimi. Buono il negroni. Prezzo onesto.

22/08/2024: Posto molto carino ,posizionato sul laghetto ,antipasti molto buoni pizza eccezionale, servizio veloce e attento. Siamo stati veramente bene.

18/08/2024: Asso nella manica solo la vista lago, per il resto niente di eccezionale, ci siamo lamentate per la scarsa qualità della pizza con il proprietario del locale , senza peli sulla lingua la sua risposta è stata.. lei sa cosa fare . A mai più!!

09/02/2025: Full disclaimer, we had our wedding there and it was perfect. The place is beautiful, the ground staff is great. The problem is the the manager Matteo, he’s very sketchy and not to be trusted. It’s a nice venue, but there are many nice venues in the region. So I would suggest you to stay away. They would go out of their way to lie and take your money. Things to look out for if you already booked with them: 1. Do not order room service, or champagne, or any kind of food or beverage to the rooms, they will charge you “service fee” of €20 per person. We ordered a bottle of champagne for 6 people. And ON TOP of the cost of the bottle (€200) they charged us €120 for this “fee”. You can just go to the restaurant, order it and bring it to your room by yourself . Or eat/drink at the restaurant. 2. They will make up fake items just to charge you. For example, they charged us €600 additionally to hire some chairs for the wedding ceremony even though they used the same chairs from dinner just repurposed them. Watch out for this make sure you don’t pay them more than what you should. As they will lie about giving you a refund but then would ignore your calls and emails to avoid paying. 3. They have many rigid rules, and do not allow any external caterers. Only there in house catering team. Therefore they are monopoly on price and will be a lot more expensive with very limited menu/offering. ——— Update in Feb 2025: I’ve been informed that Matteo has been fired from Villa Mangiacane, which is a very good decision of the owner/management. Hopefully the new manager is decent to do justice for such beautiful and magical venue.

03/08/2024: Horrible experience. Among many problems (dirty room, etc.), we were locked out of the villa the first night with no way to get in, no one to help us. We had to literally scale the fence and break in. They said in person and in writing that we could leave a day early and they would refund us for the last night. Now they refuse to refund us or respond to our requests. Unethical scam artists who lied to our faces. This place makes money by having Instagram worthy vistas for weddings and then puts most guests in dirty rooms with no/bad a.c. and treats them poorly. See tripadvisor reviews, etc. from ppl with same experience. Truly a miserable place.

29/03/2024: Service was good as was the wine and Caesar salad. The taglatelli with mushrooms and the cod and pumpkin ravioli were terrible. Would not eat here again. Overpriced.

28/07/2024: Pranzo in famiglia di domenica eccezionale. Prezzi onesti e qualità ottima. Anche il servizio è stato veloce. Siamo usciti soddisfatti e a pancia piena. Gestori simpatici. Vale la pena fare qualche km in più.

04/09/2024: Il posto è uno di quelli da tenere a mente per ritornare: in pieno centro storico, a fianco della chiesa della SS.Annunziata e a due passi da piazza San Marco, un locale piccolo e strapieno di memorabilia tra cui spicca il ritratto di Faber sulla macchina del caffè. Quattro tavolini con due sedie. Menù del giorno, primo (trofie al pesto) , acqua e caffè per 8 euro. Noi abbiamo preferito la schiacciata ripiena con acqua e caffè. Servizio velocissimo e personale gentile e simpatico, totale 6 euro a testa. Eccellente per posizione, rapporto qualità/prezzo,velocità e simpatia. Semplice e comodo, straconsigliato per una sosta

27/08/2024: Linda pequeña cafetería italiana con opciones veganas. Servicio amable. Se topó con este lindo pequeño café mientras daba un paseo lejos del centro de la ciudad. Estaba encantada de encontrar opciones veganas y tenía un encantador café con leche de soja helada. El ambiente es muy local y me encantó! Recomiendo encarecidamente. . . solo tenga en cuenta que es bastante pequeño, así que compruebe si viene en momentos muy ocupados.

29/06/2024: Abbiamo alloggiato per una notte. Stanza bella e grande, ambiente elegante. Colazione nella media. Peccato per il prezzo davvero eccessivo, considerata anche la zona in cui si trova la struttura. Anche il prezzo della colazione, di 14 euro a testa, è eccessiva.

17/04/2024: Sono ritornato dopo 15 anni. Chiaramente, la hall è invecchiata, ma è sempre funzionale, così le camere, rinnovate ed eleganti. Comodissimo, il parcheggio non coperto, però a livello stradale e attiguo all'albergo. Proprio fuori dalla reception un grande tram per andare in centro (zona ztl), dietro il parcheggio, un comodo e grande supermercato Esselunga. Quando, ritornerò a Firenze sarà sempre la mia prima scelta. Inoltre, grande cortesia di tutto il personale

20/07/2024: Très bonne expérience de street food. Des quantités généreuses, des produits frais et de qualité avec un prix très intéressants. L'accueil est chaleureux. Je recommande pour un lunch simple et rapide entre amis ou en famille lors d'un city trip à Florence.
