14/05/2026: This pizzeria was very good. The service was excellent because everyone was very kind, and the food was so good that I ordered six slices of pizza. I was on a school trip, and this was the best food I've eaten since the beginning of the trip. Being Neapolitan, I congratulate everyone.

26/03/2026: Great stop for a quick bite on my last night in Cortona. 2 slices and went back to my Airbnb and drank the remaining wine lol it was great!!!

10/06/2026: Visited the restaurant for dinner, beautiful location with a lovely, peaceful and intimate atmosphere. The food was 10/10, fresh, authentic and full of rich flavour. Service was also wonderful, our waiter was helpful and welcoming, and food timing was perfect. All is all very pleasant experience.

04/06/2026: The hotel is great for those looking for absolute relax far from cities or towns. The room was spacious and clean, the common areas are great with a countryside feeling. The staff was welcoming and nice with our 3 months old kid and our dog. The restaurant is excellent, very good food. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it. If I had to mention something to improve would be the following: It would be nice to have free water available as there are no places to buy it nearby. A coffee/bar onsite would be good during the day for the same reason, if you want to have something you need to go by car. When you are in the pool and craving a drink it would be great to have the possibility to have it there. On Sundays the restaurant is closed as they typically have private events. It is quite unfortunate for the guests because of the noise and having to pick up the car and travel at least 10 minutes to have lunch or dinner.

23/06/2026: Excellent pizza, but it's a shame that it turns over and over again, and the flavors are limited. Mozzarella, tomato, anchovies, and little else. It's a shame because the pizza base is as good as it gets elsewhere.

02/05/2026: We had a wonderful day. The pappardelle with wild boar were excellent, as were the pici with wild boar and white meat sauce. The panna cotta was excellent, as was the passion fruit mousse. Mara was very kind and welcoming. Recommended.

15/05/2026: Nothing to comment on the place or the food. A nice place, and the food was good quality and well-cooked. Friendly staff. I didn't like the situation when it came to paying the bill. It was a hotel deal, but they added extras that I didn't understand. Considering that no wine or desserts were served. One thing I don't like is that you're a restaurant and you can't use paper napkins. I repeat, you're a restaurant, not a bar or pub. I'm not talking about water with a tap, as they say in Tuscany, "cinnamon water" or "sistola" is what I use to water the garden.

16/02/2026: A truly disappointing experience. As soon as we walked in, no one greeted us or seated us. We were forced to sit alone. The order was a disaster because we asked for two types of dumplings and only got one. When we pointed out the mistake, they brought back the same dumplings. I ordered a chicken bao and got a calamari bao, with just two calamari rings. The service was extremely slow and rude. I asked for napkins, and after 20 minutes, they still hadn't arrived, and when I asked for them again, they threw them on the table, saying "toooo." Also, if you call the staff, they tell you "wait" and then you never see them again. Small place, inattentive and rude staff. I strongly advise against it: an absolutely negative experience. I agree with everything you wrote. Calling the evening "frantic" doesn't excuse repeated mistakes, constant inattention, and above all, rudeness toward customers. When asked "sugar?" and I answered "yes, two," they were brought two coffees instead of two sugar packets, further demonstrating a lack of attention. We sat alone because no one came to greet us. The ravioli I requested were two different types, and only one type arrived three times. The bao I ordered was chicken, not calamari. The napkins were thrown onto the table accompanied by a "too" gesture and tone that I consider unacceptable in any professional context, regardless of how one now attempts to downplay the incident. The owner's response, in tone, confirms exactly what I reported: rude attitude, zero self-criticism, and no desire to improve. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident, but a way of working.

15/04/2026: We spent three magical nights at I Tre Baroni, taking advantage of the three-night package that included a room with a spa, a private massage, a private excursion, and a tasting dinner at the Mater restaurant (a truly special place!). What can I say? From the very beginning, Gessica was incredibly kind and available to answer all our questions and clarify any doubts, even before our stay, personalizing our experience. When we arrived, we immediately felt welcomed. The room was gorgeous, very spacious, with a spectacular view of the Casentinesi Forests National Park. The room was spotless, with a hot tub and sauna. The private excursion with Stefano was a wonderful experience: his guide was invaluable in helping us fully appreciate the wonders of the park! The dinners at the restaurant were also highly recommended: the atmosphere is meticulously maintained and welcoming, the service impeccable, and you have the opportunity to sample the local flavors, expertly cooked and served. 13/04/2026: An unacceptable experience. I was looking for the silence of Casentino, but I found chaos. It all started with a lack of transparency: I booked a suite with a sauna, but upon check-in, they gave me a different room without telling me, hoping I wouldn't notice. Only after I protested was I granted a change; there's no point in calling it an upgrade, since the room offered lacked the booked amenities and was aesthetically inferior. The rest was a crescendo of poor service: - Technical: The suite shower was unusable due to lack of pressure. - Acoustic: A sleepless night due to the roar of the whirlpool tubs below (until midnight). I didn't call again just to avoid waking my partner, who, after various mix-ups, had only managed to sleep thanks to earplugs. - Construction site: Awake at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, hammering on the roof and weaving between construction trucks to get to breakfast. Work was kept quiet until arrival despite a recent reservation (24 hours in advance). The 50% discount was obtained only after a firm discussion. The initial disrespect and the construction-like environment are incompatible with a high-end hotel. Not recommended.

08/06/2026: A campsite as campsites should be: a section with lots of trees (you almost feel like you're in a forest) and a section with partial shade. And very spacious pitches! The campsite itself is also large, with a few permanent cabins and tents, but you hardly notice them. A very large and nice swimming pool right next to the campsite, a restaurant, a somewhat outdated (gravel) tennis court, and excellent (spacious!) sanitary facilities. The staff was very friendly.

15/05/2026: For work and when I'm short on time, I sometimes need to stop for a quick sandwich, but I won't be returning. The kebab was greenish, the wait for a sandwich was almost 20 minutes, and I was the only customer. The place had a strange, dirty smell, and the tables and chairs were all sticky. Hygiene was a dream!

10/05/2026: The staff is extremely polite. The kebab is the best in all of Umbria. The quality of the products is exceptional.

23/06/2026: The café/pastry shop has a beautiful, well-stocked counter, offering a wide selection of sweet and savory treats. The pastries are very good, and the savory items are truly flavorful. Unfortunately, the service doesn't always live up to the quality of the products. In particular, one of the sales assistants has proven unfriendly and rather surly toward customers on several occasions. Abrupt responses, annoyed attitudes, and expressions of impatience make the experience less pleasant than it should be. It's not nice to start the day with someone who constantly seems angry or annoyed, especially when customers address the staff politely and respectfully. It's a shame, because the establishment and the quality of its products certainly deserve a positive review. I hope more attention is paid to welcoming and courteous customers.
