01/06/2025: A little on the edge of the tourist area you can eat an excellent pizza here. The house wine is also of excellent quality. The service is friendly and attentive. A place that is also very popular with locals.

16/04/2025: An absolute tip. We are currently on a pilgrimage on the St. Francis Way and just wanted to treat ourselves to a pizza here in the evening. It was actually the best vegetarian pizza we've ever had. All fresh vegetables - simply amazing. I ate the Pizza Ingo, a recommendation to anyone who wants a heartier pizza. As a starter, the two of us treated ourselves to the starter plate - it tasted just as it looked in the picture - great. And all this with wine, water and espresso at the end at an incredibly affordable price. Everything was rounded off by the friendly and warm service.

19/06/2025: Nel borgo storico di Lucignano questo ristorante è veramente buono: cucina della tradizione toscana di ottima qualità, anche quella più semplice (panzanella strepitosa) servita in un bel ristornate con una bellissima terrazza. I prezzi sono corretti, come le porzioni. Il personale è gentile ed estrmamente professionale, sia nei tempi che nei modi. Complimenti.

19/05/2025: Siamo arrivati all'ultimo minuto di sabato sera, e nonostante il locale fosse pieno, Stefania – gentilissima e davvero professionale – è riuscita a trovarci un tavolo. Un grazie speciale a lei per l'accoglienza e l'ottimo servizio! Abbiamo mangiato davvero benissimo: come antipasto abbiamo preso dei crostini deliziosi, saporiti e ben presentati. Il piatto forte della serata è stata la bistecca in costa, cotta alla perfezione e tenerissima – semplicemente eccezionale. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino rosso di Montalcino che ha esaltato ogni sapore. Davvero ottimo! Siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti: qualità, atmosfera e servizio impeccabili. È un ristorante che consiglio vivamente, ma… prenotate per tempo, soprattutto nel weekend!

09/03/2025: A historic, typical and very well-kept Sangiovannese bar located in the main square of this beautiful town which is recognized as the birthplace of Masaccio. There are large internal and external rooms that overlook the Palazzo d'Arnolfo, the focal point of the entire historic centre, in fact it is the most representative building of the city and perhaps of the entire Upper Valdarno, a certainly suggestive reason to have a nice aperitif on one of the many well-arranged tables made available at Caffè Fiorenza. This business offers many services and has a large menu of both general foods and cafeterias, worth mentioning are the excellent drinks. Advised? Absolutely YES.

01/01/2025: We stopped in this bar and enjoyed a nice service at the counter and an excellent coffee. As for the croissants, although varied and beautiful to look at, there were only the frozen ones, too bad.

04/02/2025: Un’esperienza unica, che non si scorda, specialmente per le ragazze, che il cuore accorda. Condividere il gusto, tra risate e emozioni, un'avventura culinaria, tra mille passioni! Serpente consigliato, anche se sarebbe meglio un poco più salato. Le signore alla mano, ma sorridono piano. In conclusione, nessuna delusione, e viva il serpentone!

29/05/2025: I live in Rome, I'm here because I came to visit my sister who lives here. We found this place by chance because I'm the only one allergic to gluten in the family and so my sister doesn't usually look for gluten-free. We found a welcoming environment, very friendly and kind staff, super good food. One of the waitresses stopped to talk and explained to us that the gluten-free things are all produced by them and there is nothing frozen. And that's exactly how it is because the gluten-free food is really good and you can see and taste that it is not the pizza from the supermarket. As for the pizzas with gluten, I can tell you that they were beautiful and very abundant (those who tasted them said they were delicious, but for obvious reasons I didn't try them). I'm attaching photos that testify to the beauty of the dishes. To feel how good they are you have to go there in person. Normal price, but an extra star for the points card (for every €20 spent, a stamp. For every 10 stamps, pizza is free)

10/05/2025: Estuvimos allí hace un par de días para el almuerzo del curso de 5 menús, que era encantador y con mucha comida y buen vino también. Nos encantó la tienda, con mucha pasta, huevos frescos y verduras, pero también queso, salami, pan, cantucci, todo preparado por ellos. La experiencia encantadora, la gente muy agradable, tenía un buen recorrido por la Fattoria y un recorrido por el Museo con Gian Marco! Muy recomendable la experiencia y muy triste solo tenemos 5 salidas, habríamos dado todas las salidas disponibles 😃

02/05/2025: Wij zijn hier recent geweest voor een rondleiding en aansluitend een uitgebreide lunch. Het was een mooie plek. De rondleiding was divers, informatief maar vrij oppervlakkig. Leuk om bakkerij aan t werk te zien. Verder geen arbeid te zien. Her en der proeven van eten en wijn was aangenaam. Aansluitend de lunch was gezellig. Er werd allerhande drank geschonken bij de aperitief hapjes. Divers en smaakvol. Daarna aan lange tafels met verschillende mensen samen voor de lunchgerechten. Allerlei gerechten en bijgerechten, voldoende voor ieder. Niet super verfijnd of origineel. Een lekkere, mooie plek om te vertoeven.

24/06/2025: Cool atmosphere between the historic walls of the medieval village of Anghiari. Excellent pizza, well cooked, leavened very well, inflated and excellent crust. Beer not on tap (shame) but in bottles and in any case balanced prices I would say below the average of the local pizzerias. I will definitely return.

04/05/2025: Good appetizer but getting the assembly wrong is difficult! Terrible pizza! It didn't cut! Hard and not leavened! I'm sorry but it's also hard to digest!

26/05/2025: I miei amici hanno preso carne o hamburger e sono stati soddisfatti, a loro dire. Io ho preso i pici, da non riprendere assolutamente, erano gommosi e non sapevano di niente. Se non altro il locale è climatizzato, quindi si stava bene a livello di temperatura.

07/05/2025: Wir wollten im Urlaub in der Nähe eine Pizza essen und sind auf Grund der guten Rezessionen ohne Reservierung hingegangen. Da wir recht früh dran waren, sind wir die einzigen Gäste gewesen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Es gibt verschiedene Arten von Pizza, von Neapolitanisch, Pizzen mit Ricotta-Rand und Spezialpizzen mit Pistazien und ähnlichem. Der Teig der Pizzen ist leicht, sehr dünn und lecker. Meine Pizza mit Steinpilzen, Salsiccia und Cotta war sehr lecker, meine Frau war mit der Pizza mit Sardinen, solidem, Kapern und frische. Tomaten begeistert. Wer Pizzen mag ist dort gut bedient.

25/05/2025: The best Chinese restaurant in Casentino in my opinion. Excellent quality/price ratio. Their strong point in my opinion is definitely the first courses. They are very good and plentiful. The spring rolls are also excellent, nice and big and not tiny like in other restaurants. Friendly staff. NOTE: the reviews from a few years ago are no longer valid. The place and the manager have changed and have been completely renovated.
