07/10/2025: We ordered wine and a cocktail. They did not give us the aperitivos or even smiles that other tables got. Just a small bowl of stale chips. A bit of a cold demeanor and the outside lacked ambiance. I think they made a price up on the spot for wine when I went to pay. Overpriced, save your money, go elsewhere.

The only authentic Moroccan restaurant in Valdarno. The food was delicious, typical and tasty. The service was excellent and friendly. The owner of the restaurant was kind and available to explain all the dishes on the menu.
All in all, really excellent!

10/10/2025: We stopped here a couple of years ago. My review is a bit late, but I remembered this place because we had such a great time. We sat outside, and the dishes were truly beautiful and well-cooked. An excellent Tuscan ragù accompanied by a lovely wine. Suddenly, it started raining, and the lady kindly invited us inside to finish our lunch, taking our time while we waited for the downpour to pass. It was a pleasant meal, and the staff was very courteous and helpful. If we ever return to Arezzo, we know where we'll stop.
28/09/2025: A restaurant worth visiting, both for the quality of the food and the kindness and expertise of the owner. The atmosphere is very welcoming, the wine selection exceptional, and the platters are an excellent selection of locally sourced products, extremely fresh and flavorful. Highly recommended!

11/08/2025: I discovered this restaurant for my bachelor party, guided in this discovery by my lifelong friends. The location is charming: a bit remote from the rest of the world, a bit mountain hut-like due to the use of wood in the furnishings, a bit mountain hut-like due to the sense of refreshment as soon as the dishes arrive.
The dinner consisted of:
- Appetizer: black crostini (Tuscan, not Umbrian) and crostini with dried tomatoes (with the addition of a fresh cheese), cured meats (prosciutto, salami, capocollo, lard, and dried sausage), and cheese, with fried gnocco as a side dish;
- First courses: ricotta and spinach ravioli with fresh tomatoes and gnocchi with ragù antico (a white Chianina beef ragù);
- Second courses: roast beef (excellently cooked, practically melted in the mouth), grilled sausage and lamb, and steak, with salad and fried zucchini flowers on the side.
- Dessert: panna cotta with a fresh strawberry garnish.
I could comment on every single dish; simply put, Franco, the owner, also owns a butcher shop and knows his stuff inside out. You won't necessarily always find the entire menu available, but you can discover "picturesque" taste paths if you let him guide you. My adventuresome friends, who were completely new to the place, explained to me how difficult it might be to find the same dish again, but how much more astonishing it is to sample, savor, and finally devour simple dishes prepared with quality ingredients.
I will definitely return, perhaps outside of the "overly festive" atmosphere that accompanied my first visit to Ricordati di me. The restaurant's name, as far as I'm concerned, is certainly fitting.

Ingresso veramente buio e mise en place dozzinale.
Cibo nella media ne eccellente ma neanche cattivo direi un 4 .
Prezzo sopra la media ,carta dei vini triplicata nei prezzi .
Non siamo stati male ma nulla mi spingerebbe a tornarci , un posto che ti dimentichi facilmente
13/07/2025: I was at this bar with my colleague on the afternoon of Friday, May 30th. We were served two slices of cheesecake. My colleague's was soft and delicious, while mine was completely hard with a sour aftertaste, making it inedible. So I went back to the bartender and politely asked if I could exchange it, explaining why.
In an arrogant and annoyed tone, she explained that my slice was from a cake—and she quoted it as "from the first batch," meaning it was older than the other—but she added that it was still good to eat and that she wouldn't exchange it. I insisted, pointing out that if I pay, I have the right to have edibles, not obviously old ones.
No way, and not only did she refuse to give me another slice, but she even added it to the bill even though it had been returned not because I didn't like it, but because it wasn't edible.
Given the heat of that day, it's possible it might have been ruined, but precisely for this reason, for health reasons, it should have been thrown in the trash and not served, especially when the customer points out the acidic taste.
I strongly recommend changing bartenders; if you want to, you can find people who want to work and do well.

13/11/2025: I can't comment on the food because I arrived at 10:25 PM and the restaurant closes at 11:00 PM. However, I can honestly say that the owner told me I'd have to wait too long for a pizza because the oven needs to reach cooking temperature. I would have happily eaten something else, but I realized they were really tired from the day, so I'm still giving it 5 stars. If only for the owner's honesty and transparency, a rare commodity these days. Now I'll settle for McDonald's 🤣
24/09/2025: A great experience: delicious pizza, family atmosphere, friendly service, and reasonable prices. I recommend it to everyone who wants to experience "vera pizza" in Italy in Arezzo!

Eerlijke Italiaanse keuken, meer dan vriendelijke bediening, een persoonlijke uitleg van Eduardo, heerlijk gegeten.
Bij ons volgende bezoek komen we zeker terug.
22/04/2025: Localino tipico con un bicchiere di Chianti e crostini nostrani salumi e formaggi miele, personale gentilissimo super cortese e servizio velocissimo ottimo locale super consigliato anche i primi ottimi, dolci altrettanto da non perdere.

Posto molto carino immerso nel verde a pochi km dalla città, atmosfera piacevolissima. Prodotti a km 0 del territorio, spiegati con entusiasmo e serviti abbondanti e gustosissimi. Menu sempre nuovi e vasta scelta per tutti i gusti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

11/07/2025: Location fantastica che merita 5 punti e oltre. Maitre molto gentile e accogliente, qualche cameriere poco capace. Il cibo: piatti elaborati ma con sapori/abbinamenti discutibili.
Pare che si voglia “stupire” a tutti i costi esagerando nei condimenti (ragout primo piatto esagerato in quantità)
Nel secondo sapori strani e non proprio ben abbinati. Troppo “dolce” il dolce.
Prezzi adeguati al posto, ripeto fantastico, per cui ho dato le tre stelle che il cibo non avrebbe meritat

22/02/2025: IT'S NO LONGER "IL NURAGHE"... it's called "ANTICA CUCINA"; the new management is under the direction of Mrs. Aurelia, a woman who exudes love in everything she does and brings to her plate.
It's a restaurant serving traditional Tuscan cuisine.
She loves to cook different things every day, all homemade (and if there's anything she doesn't make herself, she says so).
Everything was excellent, authentic cuisine and magical flavors.
Excellent quality food, a flavor enhanced by passion.
An overwhelming experience, I would have loved to try every dish!
I'll be back just to try them all!
