11/05/2025: We were with friends and we immediately breathed the air of the old-time trattoria. Nice place. Friendly staff. All good especially the meat. A sore point is the pizza which is thin like a biscuit. Excellent value for money. I recommend the fixed menu with meat.

The outside seating along an ancient pedestrian roadway with stone streets sets the atmosphere. The owner is super kind and helpful with great recommendations. An absolute must visit.

Ignore the professional trolls, this place has everything you want - style, atmosphere, welcoming staff and owners, and most importantly wonderful food. We have had both lunch and breakfast here and have not been disappointed. Come to Cortona, and come to Bar 500!

If you can't give up ice cream then this is the right place even in winter or on melancholic days.. ..with the inevitable classic flavors, those without milk and flavors of the day.. ..an essential showcase that leaves no one dissatisfied.. ..it is an excellent product for the structure..the creaminess..the coldness..the natural flavor that denotes the use of high quality ingredients that are not skimped.. ..and served on wafer cones that are always crunchy or on very crumbly wafers and without invasive aromas.. ..the quantities are generous at fair prices…….. ..but Above All There is Leone who makes all this possible always looking for the best and improvement……. 26/01/2025: Ambiente classico retro,pizza molto buona anche se la scelta era ridotta e piatti tipici toscani e non solo.Uno di quei locali che se vai per la prima volta ti trattano in un modo,se sei abituale in un altro.Antipasto da 10 euro misto,i formaggi non arrivano e dopo averglielo fatto notare dicono che non sono arrivati la mattina...nel conton finale però confermano l antipasto da 10 euro,anche senza formaggi.Pizza margherita con aggiunta di bufala a 2 euro,nel conto 3 euro.Ci hanno provato e la signora alla cassa tutta scocciata esclama:vabbeh ti ridò un euro.

21/06/2025: Unfortunately I did not find myself well in the structure. Precarious sanitary conditions (dirty sheets; towels never changed in 4 days; dust everywhere; cobwebs; grease stains on the floor, broken air conditioning and no mosquito nets to keep mosquitoes away; sanitary facilities and fixtures from the 60s). The only positive aspect is the staff, courteous and helpful.

04/06/2025: I had gluten-free pasta, pomodoro with young garlic—it was the best pasta I've had on my Italian vacation! The hosts were very attentive and friendly, thank you very much!

04/05/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo locale accanto al nostro hotel. Posto molto curato e piacevole, per noi il migliore di Anghiari. Il titolare Alessandro lavora con passione e attenzione, lui e tutto il personale sono stati gentili e accoglienti, la pizza, preparata con un impasto a lievitazione naturale, era davvero ottima e anche i dolci della casa erano deliziosi. Torneremo sicuramente. Consigliatissimo.
