18/07/2024: Waitress acted put-out that my family came in an hour before they closed for their 3:00 siesta. She said the kitchen was closing soon. So I ordered one bread with tomato sauce entree for 9 euros and we all ordered drinks. I watched my entree’s tomato sauce get heated up from the microwave behind the cash register, and stirred up with crumbled bread. It was like puréed baby food. Maybe ok for a quick glass of wine, but go somewhere else if you want good service and food.

23/08/2024: Lack of clarity in price from rates when booking by phone. Very hot room without air conditioning. When I complained they offered me a fan. Cold water came out in drops from both the tap and the shower. The breakfast room terrace was full of bird debris. Four stars stolen from the cello.

07/12/2024: Barbarossa is located in the industrial area between Montevarchi and Terranuova B. It is a simple but well-kept place. I almost always get pizza, which I find very good. The dough is light and very soft. The pizza chef's proposals are unusual, but good and well balanced. The service is no-nonsense and efficient. The bill is right. With small beer and coffee it costs around 15 euros. Advised!

01/12/2024: First time at this business. Nice and spacious environment. Courteous and prompt staff. Ample parking. Unfortunately the rating is lowered by the final cooking of the pizza (double dough, well seasoned) which is burnt (below) for about a quarter. Fried good and dry. I reserve the right to change the evaluation, perhaps taking the products on a quieter evening. Positive experience.

15/09/2024: Very tasty, fresh food! The service was sloppy and you still had to wait because there were so many customers, but it was worth it! Great! I recommend it 100%!

15/12/2024: 8 people went to eat on Saturday evening. The staff was almost absent, they spilled the wine, it fell and they didn't even bother to clean or change the placemat. They forgot two dishes (which we had to request), which arrived after 20 minutes when everyone else had already finished. The veal fillet side dish was too salty as was the rigatoni (which arrived differently than requested). I won't be returning.

10/12/2024: Nice and well-kept environment, the bathrooms a little less but oh well.... good food, the dishes are special in line with the environment and the typical nature of the place. The service was sufficient, we ate the starters all together, but we didn't eat the main course, the pasta arrived only after a reminder. In response to the owner's comment. The bathrooms do not need to be updated, the plaster simply needs to be redone. As far as food is concerned, it's one thing to wait and for heaven's sake there's no problem, it's another thing to have three people bring the dish and the fourth is to watch and wait, it's not really the same thing!!!

19/12/2024: I give 3 stars because 1 liter of water, 1/2 of wine, 2 starters, 2 first courses, 1 dessert and 2 coffees for €92 seems really too much to me!!!! Among other things, I only have a receipt without the list of individual pieces. It was all very good, welcoming for us and the dogs but too expensive!

30/10/2024: Poor service, grumpy and rude host who insults the kitchen staff in the dining room with customers at the table. Small portions, from behind the counter the staff decanted bottles of wine..

03/07/2024: Top restaurant in Capolona and surrounding areas, exquisite pastries handmade by the owner. Not to be missed.

21/10/2024: Pranzo in questo ristorante con amici...cibo buono...personale molto disattento a gli ospiti. Tagliatelle...e non portano formaggio ribollita e non portano nemmeno un filo di olio...per non parlare poi i tempi di attesa,che sono veramente incredibili

20/10/2024: Sono andato a pranzo con amici . Per quanto riguarda il cibo direi buono ma il servizio pessimo. Abbiamo aspettato tra un antipasto ed il primo circa un’oretta e quando abbiamo chiesto alla cameriera ( secondo noi proprietaria del ristorante) quanto dovevamo ancóra aspettare ci ha risposto “ c’è tanta gente prima o poi arriva “ . In tutto questo poi troviamo esagerato aver pagato ben € 18.00 33 cl di vino bianco a mescita.

19/11/2024: Il posto va cercato tra i vicoli di Montevarchi , dove sembra non ci sia niente ...ed invece si apre una porta discreta ma ben decisa su ciò che vuole presentare . Ingredienti locali valorizzati dallo chef che fa scoprire o riscoprire sapori e consistenze nuove e dimenticate . Personale carino e disponibile, ambiente industrial ricercato ma originale.

25/10/2024: Terminamos aquí por accidente y no nos decepcionó. Cuando lo encontramos no estábamos muy seguros, no era el tipo de establecimiento que esperábamos encontrar en esta ciudad relativamente tranquila. Decoración bastante escasa y moderna y una carta de platos muy diferentes con un ligero giro elaborado por Francesco a partir de ingrediente local. Nos arriesgamos y fuimos a por ello y fue genial. La experiencia fue mejorada por el muy atento y experto Geisel que se tomó el tiempo para escribir una larga lista de otros lugares para comer o visitar. Los precios son más que la media pero creo que buena relación calidad-precio. Gracias chicos por una noche encantadora.

14/12/2024: Locale dove gustare un'ottima carne, presa dal bancone e cotta direttamente nel camino a vista. Prezzi nella norma, servizio cortese.

09/12/2024: Che delusione Ragazzi! Ahime la fiorentina era anche buona ma gli antipasti che all'inizio sembravano buonini, poi ci hanno fatto male e siamo stati male tutta la notte sul water con dolori di corpo fortissimi! Siccome eravamo un gruppo e solo alcuni li hanno mangiati siamo sicuri che siano stati quelli dato che solo chi li aveva mangiati è stato male. Assurdo davvero! Mi aspetto di MOLTOOOO meglio. Purtroppo è palese, gli affettati o crostini che avevano tipo patè erano andati a male sicuro! Recensione compromessa da un errore per risparmiare 2€ sicuro, peccato la fiorentina era anche buona.
