27/06/2024: I have visited Emilio in Sant'Agostino several times and have always been enthusiastic about it. The welcoming and relaxed atmosphere has always been perfect. For me the real top drink is the Mojito: fresh, well balanced and full of flavour. Every sip was a pleasure, thanks to the use of high-quality ingredients and the skill of the bartenders. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff.

19/01/2025: Dopo essere stati al "ricordati di me" il giorno dell'Epifania, ed esserci trovati magnificamente per accoglienza e ottimo cibo, oggi siamo ritornati in compagnia di amici, abbiamo ritrovato la stessa piacevolezza a tavola ma che ci ha conquistato il cuore è stato il calore del fuoco del camino. Impossibile dimenticare l'esperienza in questo ristorante.

27/12/2024: Una volta all'anno porto il mio babbo che ci tiene a venire in questo posto dove ci siamo sempre trovati bene... Pranzo di Natale solito menù fisso. Arriviamo nel locale dopo 1h e 45 di viaggio, apro per prima la porta e un cameriere mi guarda dicendomi che eravamo in anticipo (erano le 12.30) senza neanche un "buongiorno" o un "auguri di Buon Natale"... il locale era gelido, freddo, riscaldamento troppo basso per il -1 gradi presenti fuori. Ci siamo e tutti gli altri tavoli non cavano capito e giubbotti da addosso. Il tavolo a fianco fa presente che arriva aria dal grosso camino dietro loro ma il figlio del proprietario (o il marito della figlia non ricordo) minimizza... passa al nostro tavolo dicendomi "signora ha freddo?" ed io confermo... La gente continua a risentirsi del freddo dicendo ad alta voce che mangiare al freddo non è bello... servizio lentissimo, alle 15 ancora dovevamo iniziare a mangiare il primo. Cibo non caldo, compresi i cappelletti in brodo, nessuna possibilità di chiedere un bis della pietanza. Mio marito ed io abbiamo vinto una bella influenza. Mi dispiace molto ma non tornerò mai più.

04/02/2025: The room smelled like fried food. The raw ham on the pizza was clearly old, gave off a bad smell and was gray in color (as well as being hard to cut). The coffee had a licorice aftertaste. I feel sorry for the waitress because she is a kind girl.

29/10/2024: Restaurant in a magical place with a view of the vineyards and the valley. We visited the restaurant in the off-season, without a reservation, and yet we were welcomed and received attentive and friendly service. The food was great and it was a great experience.

10/02/2025: Piccola bottega dove è possibile fermarsi a mangiare dei prodotti del posto. Noi abbiamo trovato una signora gentilissima che si dava da fare per servire tutti i clienti. Brava e gentile.Si possono trovare dei primi caldi e anche degli ottimi taglieri con salumi e formaggi. Prezzi ottimi .

05/02/2025: An inconspicuous little delicacy. We just wanted to eat a panini and ended up staying there. Great wines, excellent Ragu's. Eaten, loved it! Bought, loved it. A tip for everyone who likes small delicacies. Unfortunately, you can only eat these delicacies there or take them home to enjoy. But don't order over the internet 😩😩😩

22/09/2024: Avevo letto alcune recensioni negative ma ho preferito provare ugualmente perché con il cibo il gusto è soggettivo. Purtroppo confermo quanto detto in alcune recensioni negative. Abbiamo mangiato a base di pesce. Non amo scendere nei particolari parlando di sapidità o tempi di cottura ecc. perché non sono una chef. Preferisco piuttosto parlare del gusto personale e delle sensazioni provate. Stiamo provando i ristoranti di pesce di Arezzo e dintorni. I loro piatti non hanno soddisfatto il nostro palato e non siamo esigenti. Non abbiamo provato quella sensazione piacevole che ti pervade a livello sensoriale, piuttosto abbiamo un po' faticato a terminare il cibo. Siamo contro lo spreco. Locale oggettivamente molto rumoroso. Prezzi nella media. Quantità del cibo generosa. Cameriera professionale attenta ai dettagli e molto cortese nel modo di porsi. Nonostante questo grazie per il servizio reso.

05/03/2025: Very good focaccia and nice place welcoming, the only flaw is that the counter attendant rushes you for no reason, resulting in it being inadequate, with the feeling that there was no other customer to serve while waiting inside the restaurant, the counter attendant in a peremptory tone invited us with little courtesy to communicate if we wanted to order more in order to be able to serve "the other customers", too bad there weren't any.

12/02/2025: Il locale è da 6. Troppo stretto, poca privacy nel fare colazione. Le paste sono buone, la maggior parte della piccola pasticceria non mi piace. I salati che fanno li vedrei meglio in una bottega di alimentari che rifornisce le scuole, piuttosto che in un bar in centro. Il difetto più grande del locale è la totale assenza di prezzi esposti (non c'è traccia di prezzo né per le paste, né per i salati, né per il pane, né per la piccola pasticceria né per i dolci: chi assicura il cliente che il prezzo fattogli pagare è quello di listino e non un prezzo diverso, più alto e a suo danno?). Aggiungo che metà del personale si diverte a far aspettare il cliente. (Recensione riferita al locale situato presso i Bastioni, nel centro di Arezzo). Per quanto sopra: fra il 5 1/2 e il 6.

05/03/2025: Very well looked after place, clean, really good cafe, excellent pastry shop, a nice place to make a real choice to have breakfast in the morning, unfortunately I don't go there, but in the early afternoon, I almost always go to get my five or six pastries to take away and it's really worth it, as I repeat, excellent pastry shop From myself Riccardo Morbidelli.

Found by chance through a search for "restaurants in the area" on the way back for a weekend, location of intimate simplicity, familiar and very courteous service, unforgettable food! Buffalo steak for 10 with flavors enhanced by cooking, the other courses are also very tasty. I will definitely be back Pamela.

20/02/2025: Venuti alla Vecchia Scuola. Prenotato coniglio e carciofi fritti che si sono dimostrati meglio di quelli che faceva la mi nonna!! Vogliamo cascare nei dolci? Millefoglie e tiramisù da urlo da quanto erano buoni! Bravi ragazzi continuate così. Come a casa!!! Posto da provare e prezzi super.

06/01/2025: Accolti con cortesia, abbiamo preso un antipasto fatto da un affettato davvero ottimo (l’affettato di oca era strepitoso!); seguita da un 1,2 kg di bistecca eccellente: tenera e cotta a regola d’arte (cioè al sangue). Buono anche il rosso della casa. Il tutto con attenzione continua e cordiale nel servizio.

25/09/2024: Let me start by saying that I don't know Moroccan cuisine but we were curious, 2 minors at the tables, shy and awkward (certainly the owner's daughters) nothing about the menu was explained to us, we ordered 2 Moroccan appetizers and so far I don't know what I ate for sure 2 hospital purees, a couscous which we later discovered from the next table would have been served with a kind of broth which was not brought to us (at the time of the bill we were told by the owner that we had to request it while the girl admitted she had forgotten) thus resulting in almost dry birdseed for the chickens. Raw french fries and a mediocre pizza (taken as a lifesaver). A steep bill compared to their oversights and shortcomings. I honestly expect dishes to be explained to me when there are no descriptions on the menu. An experience to forget, not recommended for both the service and the quality. On the other hand, the bathroom was clean.
