23/10/2025: Outside, the wind rustles the trees and the leaves dance their last dance of autumn. Here, in the warmth, there's a generous platter of freshly prepared food and delicious porcini mushroom crostini. Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and wild boar ragù are the first courses, both truly delightful. Then there's the delicious apple and walnut cake, paired with Vin Santo—hurrah!

30/09/2025: I don't recommend this place for the food; we didn't try the pizza.
The typical Castellina appetizer was truly untypical and very industrial, the pumpkin and sausage risotto was inedible...they basically boiled the rice and added the sauce afterwards...even though I was very hungry, I managed to eat half of it, as did my friend. Friendly staff.

07/10/2025: We ordered wine and a cocktail. They did not give us the aperitivos or even smiles that other tables got. Just a small bowl of stale chips. A bit of a cold demeanor and the outside lacked ambiance. I think they made a price up on the spot for wine when I went to pay. Overpriced, save your money, go elsewhere.

We ate an excellent and abundant fried food. Average prices. Good value for the quality of the food.
The interior of the restaurant is very nice even if we ate outside given the hot period.

23/09/2025: Passing by with my dog while hiking the Via Francigena, I found a lovely, spacious room with a terrace. The hosts are very kind, welcoming, and helpful.
17/06/2025: Very nice and accommodating owner, affordable and fresh room. Beautiful environment. Had dinner at Trattoria which is 100m from the hotel and the food was fantastic.

16/09/2025: The atmosphere is average, perhaps in the summer. You can choose whether to eat inside or outside. The pizzas aren't very large, and there's a wide variety of pizza types. The only problem is parking closer to the train station. After the Level crossing, it's closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It's usually very crowded. You can reserve by calling.

10/08/2025: Very friendly staff, spotlessly clean and well-kept place. Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the meat. I highly recommend trying the deconstructed tiramisu, a delight!

is unfortunately overshadowed by the lack of empathy towards customers and the error in the final price, which in my opinion should not happen (€41 instead of €28). Check the summary receipt before paying at the register.
14/10/2025: EXCELLENT! There's a large menu posted at the entrance, but we chose the custom option: 3 ingredients for €5 (2 ingredients were €4 and 4 ingredients were €6). We had two sandwiches with raw sausage, stracciatella, and truffle sauce, with Tuscan bread. They were delicious! It's located in an area with exorbitant prices, which is what initially drew us to it, but I'd choose it again now. Highly recommended 😊🙏🏻
