22/10/2025: Three of us visited the restaurant: two adults and a 4-year-old. We ordered three pizzas, a liter of house wine, and a coffee. The bill came to €57, even though we'd been told coffee would be free due to the long wait. We did a quick calculation: Margherita €8, Diavola €11, Quattro Formaggi €14, a liter of wine €14, and three covers at €2.50 each. The total was €54.50. I don't know how much coffee costs there, maybe €2.50. If so, it makes sense. So why say coffee is free and then include it in the bill anyway, if we didn't even ask for a discount? Otherwise, the place isn't bad: the decor, the service, and the pizza are good. But it left a bitter taste in our mouths...

16/10/2025: Beautiful place, nice wine selection. 5 stars for the fried calamari and grilled octopus, very good, but 2 stars for the seafood padellata, really not great, lacking freshness, overcooked and overpriced.

15/06/2025: A very pleasant discovery in Arezzo! Passing through Arezzo, we stopped by chance at this wok sushi and were thrilled. The place is modern, welcoming and above all impeccable in terms of cleanliness - a detail that immediately makes the difference. The sushi was a real surprise: fresh fish, well cut and carefully presented. The wok section also offers dishes prepared on the spot, tasty and with quality ingredients. A special praise to the staff: kind, attentive and always available, they made the experience even more pleasant. Excellent value for money too. An address that we will definitely keep in mind for the next times in the area. Highly recommended!

09/09/2025: We arrived at Lo Scalino on a stormy evening and had the entire marquee to ourselves. The intimate setting turned out to be incredibly romantic, setting the tone for one of the most memorable meals of our trip. From start to finish, the food was truly first class. My wife began with the seafood salad while I opted for the gnocchi with mussels both dishes were absolute standouts: fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. For our mains, we enjoyed the Trofie pasta and the Frittura. Once again, the ingredients spoke for themselves simple, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. If I had one small note, it would be that the Frittura had slightly more vegetables than expected in a seafood dish, but it was still thoroughly enjoyable. We finished with a refreshing Sgroppino, the perfect end to the meal. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server wore a smile, was attentive, and the pacing of the meal was spot-on unhurried yet efficient. Having been in Italy for 10 days, this was easily one of the highlights of our journey. We’re even considering returning before we leave. Highly recommended.

19/10/2025: The rooms look old because it's an old palace, and that's understandable. But the bathroom cleaning was just average, and the room service was poor. I have no problem making my bed, cleaning my glass, etc., but a glass I had used for syrup was turned over as if it were clean, not even noticing whether it was used or not. They straightened the crooked sheets and took away the dirty towels, but they didn't replace them. I insist I can do it perfectly, but for them to do that, it's better if they don't enter the room. The headboard had layer upon layer of varnish on it, and you'd get stuck on it... Positive: the location, close to the tram that takes you to the airport and close to the Florence metro station.

16/10/2025: I received excellent service and care at the Hotel Cimabue. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and well-maintained, and the location was quiet yet very close to the center. Thank you so much!

12/10/2025: Terrible experience. We stayed for 5 days during the summer holidays. Starting with the terrible welcome at reception, with a rude person who was reluctant to provide information about breakfast times, services, and parking. The rooms were not at all welcoming and poorly maintained, lacking hygiene, with mold on the walls and doors that struggled to close due to the wood being "swollen" from humidity. The breakfast, described as international and featuring homemade cakes, turned out to be a lie as the cakes were clearly industrially made and were only dusted with powdered sugar to give them a homemade touch. Other breakfast items, such as yogurt, tea, cereals, and biscuits, were all purchased at the Eurospin discount store near the hotel. In short, the quality was terrible, and the value for money was not at all competitive. I strongly advise against staying at this property. Look elsewhere to avoid partially ruining your holiday.

29/09/2025: The hotel impresses not only with its location and comfort, but above all with the atmosphere created by the staff. The food served in the restaurant was delicious – diverse, fresh, and meticulously crafted, and the service was top-notch. Both the restaurant and reception were excellent – ​​guests felt truly cared for and welcomed. I will always remember the staff whose warmth and professionalism made the stay even more enjoyable – Laura, Franko, and the waiter Stefano will long remain in my memory as examples of exceptional hospitality and kindness. I can wholeheartedly recommend HG Hotel Il Settebello to anyone looking to combine a comfortable stay with a warm, Italian atmosphere.

01/05/2025: Abbiamo preferito l'ottima cucina senese, a base di carne e pasta fatta in casa a mano, al menu di pesce, e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti: i piatti, molto curati ed appetitosi, di grande qualità, serviti con attenzione, sono stati tutti molto piacevoli. Il locale, di lunga tradizione, è molto piacevole.

30/04/2025: Era la prima volta che ci andavamo, anche se in pieno centro della nostra città. Sapevamo già che non sarebbe stata una cena da poca spesa, però l'importante è che siamo stati benissimo. 05/10/2025: An unpleasant incident that left me truly perplexed, and for which I wouldn't recommend this place. I went to this pizzeria-restaurant and ordered a sandwich with hamburger, lettuce, tomato, grilled vegetables, and stracciatella. During the meal, some lettuce had fallen onto my plate, and only after I'd finished the sandwich (and I emphasize only after I'd finished the sandwich, if you read carefully; I hadn't noticed before, since the lettuce had fallen onto my plate) was I about to eat it when I noticed a dead bug on that lettuce (and if it's dead, it obviously won't move). It was a bug with legs, not a burnt piece of eggplant, as they would have you believe. I immediately notified the waitress, who went to report the incident to the kitchen. Shortly afterward, she returned, telling me that they'd told her to "don't worry, because they wash it." I don't doubt they wash it, but the fact remains that there was an insect on the plate. It can happen, of course, but what left me most disappointed was the complete lack of attention afterward: no one came to the table to apologize, nor was any kind of courtesy offered (a discount, dessert, any sign of consideration). I paid the bill in full, as if nothing had happened, and that's not at all an excuse to get a discount or anything else, because I don't need one. It's just a matter of knowing how to treat a customer. A real shame, because the place seemed welcoming and the sandwich was quite good—I say quite good because there was more salt than was appropriate… but an incident like that, handled so superficially, truly leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.
