21/08/2025: Aside from being a must-try experience during the summer heat (after 8pm, Botteghina is already sweatshirt-worthy), the platters are excellent, both with cheese and cold cuts, the schiacciata (flatbreads) are excellent, and the selection of wines is a perfect accompaniment to evenings away from the heat and traffic!

01/09/2025: Unfortunately, our experience here was very disappointing. Service was slow and unprofessional – we waited 40 minutes for bread after they brought olive oil to the table. The servers spoke poor English and seemed disorganized throughout the evening. The red wine was served cold, which in Italy is surprising and simply wrong. Italians should know better. The food itself was no better: the bresaola was tough, the Parmesan on the carpaccio was hard and tasteless, and overall the quality was far below expectations. On top of that, the waiting times were extremely long, making the whole experience frustrating rather than enjoyable. I cannot recommend this restaurant – both the service and food were of poor quality.

16/08/2025: EXCELLENT, the Trattoria of the past, excellent and rather eclectic welcome, the landlady is a real "character", EXCELLENT first courses, and the house specialty, Fried Rabbit, not to be forgotten. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Excellent prices and excellent quality.

19/07/2025: Ideale per una pausa prima o dopo la visita a Volterra locale tranquillo con una vista bellissima da qualsiasi tavolo, cucina tipica e parcheggio comodo. Siamo stati qui un sabato a pranzo l antipasto della casa e abbondante crostini ottimi. I ravioli al pomodoro sublimi. Posto incantevole

02/06/2025: Un piccolo angolo di Grecia a Lido di Camaiore. Locale semplice, carino, in stile greco. Cibo ottimo. Da provare la feta in tutti i tipi possibili. Il giros resta sempre un evergreen, come la moussaka. Buonissima anche la Baklava. Servizio attento.

Menu valido e assortito, servizio cordiale e rapido, conto non proprio economico, n linea con i prezzi medi della Versilia. Ho assaggiato: foglie di vite con riso, feta impanata e moussaka. Quest'ultima non mi ha particolarmente colpito... Esperienza nel complesso positiva.

30/06/2025: I believe that in Montecastrilli, where I have been "hanging out" for over 50 years from the nearby Farnetta, there has never been such a good pastry shop, especially the pastries with cream, the profiteroles, the babà, the meringues. Perhaps the tarts could be improved a little. In general, however, everything is very good, the staff is very very kind and friendly, really to keep in mind, excellent prices, but they have increased a little recently. 30/06/2025: Pizzeria that works mainly by the slice and takeaway but they also do table service. We took a real pizza and a thin one....there was practically no difference except for a small, not very pronounced edge. The pizza is crispy, almost hard when cut but still tasty. We waited too long for two pizzas. Excellent prices.

29/06/2025: We speak almost no Italian. They speak almost no English. They worked so hard to help us, and didn’t get frustrated with our limited vocabulary. It’s a big plus that the food was excellent!
