Lucca city center close to the most famous Museum of the city. Nice and supportive service and food.

Convivial place, typical family atmosphere and extreme kindness. We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer and it was all uphill from there. The rosticciana was delicious as were the desserts, homemade (and I know you can tell by the flavour)... It's so worth it.

Attracted by the positive reviews I went there for an aperitif and was fully satisfied. They have a very interesting cocktail menu made with local wines and spirits. The platter of local cheeses and cured meats is amazing and is also satisfying for two people, and the cost is perfectly commensurate with the quantity and quality of what is offered. I also tasted their rice cake, which was also absolutely valid. They also offer various dishes of the day. Account in line with expectations, experience to be recommended

Walked past this evening and could hear great live music so we stopped for a couple of drinks. Very enjoyable Friday night - our last night in Italy this holiday. Good memories.

In the center of Lucca More than a restaurant it is a pub with restaurant prices. Good food.

The place is pleasant and welcoming and the dishes offered were also simple but good; unfortunately we ended up next to a table with children who were too young to be taken to the restaurant and who were shouting, fighting, chasing each other and banging games on the table the whole time, that is, they were being children. We "escaped" as soon as possible without having dessert or coffee. I would have appreciated at least a word to the parents from the venue

I have been frequenting this tavern for many years and I have always felt at home, which is why I am sorry to leave this review which I hope will be stimulating. I stopped by a few evenings ago and for the first time in many years I got up without having had dinner. They let me sit (after I had consumed an aperitif with a not entirely satisfactory vegetarian platter). I ordered a first course from the blackboard (tagliatelle with mushrooms) and after a few minutes the waiter came back to tell me that I would have to wait at least half an hour for my dish because the mushrooms were not ready (around 7.15pm). They could figure out whether to serve me something else cold vegetarian. Given that during the aperitif service I had also received a similar response for the potato balls (which had always been available on the counter for the aperitif time) and given the rudeness of some of the waiters at the counter, I got up and thanked I went out. For me, the Stellario has always been synonymous with hospitality. Always. At all hours of the day. For this reason, I invite the (very knowledgeable) managers to pay more attention to the methods of their staff (particularly those at the counter) and to some particular (vegetarian) needs. Furthermore, I had invited a colleague with whom I didn't make a great impression. I'm taking a break but I'll be back because I have faith in the managers and in the philosophy that has always driven the Stellario.

Very nice and well looked after place. Friendly and helpful staff. The food, almost all typical dishes, is very good, the platters plentiful and with excellent quality local cured meats. Special mention for the meatballs, fantastic. The selection of wines is excellent, and the local bubbles are worth trying. The desserts, made by them, are truly excellent. Absolutely worth trying.

posto carino, situato in pieno centro proprietario molto gentile, locale accogliente Abbiamo preso tagliere gigante (grandi quantità, basta questo per una cena) e gnocchi al sugo di polpo. Tutto buono. Consigliato.

Came in here for dinner on a Saturday evening - early enough to not need a reservation and the place was very busy. Since it was only two of us we were able to get a table and had a really good meal. Taglietelle with creamy mushroom sauce and a Lasagne, with verdure al forno, and a small salad to split between the two of us. A couple of glasses of wine and a bottle of waterr to round out the meal. The wait staff was very good, and it was a very vibrant atmosphere - more modern music playing and people bustling around. Great spot for a meal
