We stopped for lunch with biker friends, an excellent experience both for the quality of the dishes (everything zero km), the precise and attentive service, and the warm welcome that made us feel at home! So, congratulations to Chicco and his wife Lara who, with their commitment and professionalism, offer a wonderful corner of Lucca where you can't help but return!!! 👏👏

An excellent experience at this osteria in Piazza San Francesco: carefully crafted dishes made with quality ingredients. Francesco in the dining room is an attentive and friendly host, while chef Lara in the kitchen creates tasty and carefully crafted dishes. Lara's desserts are truly exceptional.

Excellent coffee, macchiato, and latte drinks - and the sweet bread croissants are fabulous! It’s a very comfortable place to enjoy and savor great flavors!

A no-fuss cafe/restaurant on the Piazza San Francesco that's popular with locals and offering honest, simple local food. Service started off a bit slow, but the staff warmed to us, so no real complaints there. Our mid-week evening visit saw us enjoy roast chicken with potatoes (galletto con patate - a whole poussin, beautifully cooked, and delicious potatoes out of the oven = €15), meatballs (Le nostre polpette = €6, with wild greens on the side = €5), three glasses of white wine (Valle del sole bicchiere @ €4 per glass), a rich dessert (€3.50) and a bottle of water at €2. Total (including a €1 cover charge per person) = €45.50. Great value, simple yet great food, and a great find. Well worth visiting!

The best bar-osteria in Piazza San Francesco. Always very friendly staff, excellent food, and a welcoming location. If you're in Lucca's historic center, I highly recommend stopping by! And now they're offering homemade gnocchi on Thursdays—delicious and not to be missed! The chef is the best in the world!

We happened upon it by chance on a Sunday for lunch, pleasant atmosphere, courteous and attentive staff, good Tuscan food, good wines, it was a pleasant discovery
