12/09/2025: A beautiful and peaceful place where we felt the flavours of Tuscany, the proximity to Siena, Florence but above all to the most beautiful towns of Tuscany like Pienza and San Gimignano makes it doubly attractive. We rented a room with its own garden and jacuzzi, this turned out to be a great choice in the end. Every day coming back from an excursion in the surrounding towns we thought dreamily of relaxing and the jacuzzi or pool. Other than that I would recommend the restaurants at the resort, delicious food and great staff, the only thing we can complain about is the modesty of the breakfasts, we could use more local produce. The wine tasting was a very cool option, it didn't last long but was a very good guide in terms of local wines. Final I can 100% recommend.

06/08/2025: Beautiful view, but doesn't deliver what it promises. We booked this hotel mainly because the room listed on the website had two beds—a must-have for us. On check-in day, right before our arrival, we were informed that the room would only have a small double bed. This was our first major disappointment. Furthermore, we chose the hotel because it had air conditioning, but one of the two units in the room didn't work. It was very hot, and in the Italian summer, this makes the stay unbearable. The room wasn't properly prepared for us, and the staff showed a lack of interest and politeness. They didn't even apologize and acted as if we were inconveniencing them when we reported the issues. In light of this, we decided to cancel and, that same day, found an excellent hotel in the city for a similar price. Based on our experience, the price charged isn't justified—I wouldn't return and I don't recommend it.

26/06/2025: La Romita es un pintoresco restaurante dirigido por la familia que sirve comida tradicional toscana casera. Éramos 4 adultos que compartimos dos aperitivos que eran increíbles y disfrutamos de primer y segundo plato y luego compartimos un postre. Aunque no son baratos los precios eran comparables a otros restaurantes de calidad en los que hemos estado y la calidad de los platos era excepcional. Los propietarios hablan un poco de inglés, pero logramos entender lo que se ofrecía con la ayuda de un menú en inglés que explicaba algunos de los platos que se ofrecen. Una experiencia auténtica que disfrutaríamos felizmente de nuevo.

04/06/2025: Pasamos por este restaurante, sin saber en lo que nos estábamos metiendo. Ofrece comidas italianas caseras tradicionales, hechas por la esposa del propietario. La comida era buena. El servicio estaba bien, con una barrera del idioma. El ambiente era hogareño. Nos dieron el mandato de pedir dos cursos por persona. Y se convirtió en la cena más cara de nuestro viaje de dos semanas por el norte de Italia, una bandera roja. ¡Estaba bien! Sin embargo, como viajeros desinformados que pasan por Montisi, nos sentimos un poco sorprendidos. Si usted es consciente del presupuesto, es posible que desee probar otra cosa.

17/08/2025: I went this evening with my wife and compared to the previous time I was a bit disappointed by the lack of food available at the counter and when I asked I was told that there was nothing left but only what was on the counter, too bad because it was only 8pm.

25/08/2025: The food is excellent, the pizza is exceptional, very digestible, the only flaw is the limited space for three people on a table that is already narrow for two, we need slightly larger tables for the rest, top.

18/07/2025: The place itself is nice, but unfortunately the service was slow. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. The pizza was small and the prices were exorbitant. They don't charge separately based on what each person ordered, only split payments for everyone, meaning everyone pays for everyone else's order. We requested payment per item based on what each person ordered. We were told they don't accept this type of payment, mostly in a rude manner. I strongly advise against it.

21/08/2025: We went last night, and I must say the experience far exceeded my expectations. The tagliatelle al ragù was simply extraordinary: perfectly cooked pasta and topped with a rich, flavorful ragù. The pork shank with potatoes was truly a surprise: incredibly tender and beautifully seasoned. The service also deserves special mention: the waiters were always attentive and helpful. The wine list is also noteworthy, very extensive and featuring select labels that pair perfectly with the dishes. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made everything even more enjoyable. It's definitely a place we'll happily return to.

03/08/2025: The pizza? Absolutely disgusting!!! We went based on the reviews: the best pizza in Viareggio, the meat reigns supreme...what the heck?! People just don't understand anything. And the steak? First of all, they show it to you raw, and they don't serve it pre-sliced; it looked like it was made. Terrible service; the waiter doesn't greet you, throws the menus at the table, and it takes forever to eat. The place is awful; it was incredibly hot, they didn't turn on the air conditioning, the beer arrived warm, the table wobbled... terrible experience.

13/09/2025: The pizza was really delicious. But especially the castagnaccio! Very good and not at all dry. Very tasty.

13/09/2025: The cecina was good, but the pizza was raw! We stayed up all night with upset stomachs. Everything was excellent this time, fast service, and low prices.

25/04/2025: Good place to spend the evening, quiet environment and good food. There were 3 of us and we each had different dishes (pizza, meat main course and fish first course), and we were all satisfied, the house tiramisu was also good.
