Beautiful place and excellent food, highly recommended

Everything was excellent. The Pasta alla Luigi was sublime, without taking anything away from the tagliatelle. The main courses were also fantastic. Peposo, pork chops, steaks, and Florentine steak. We came two nights in a row. It was definitely worth it. We'll be back for a third before saying goodbye to Elba. The owner is incredibly friendly.

He's very kind and old-fashioned. He stops to explain the dishes, his eyes lighting up. It's not the cheapest, but the dishes are worth every penny.

A magnificent place, discovered many years ago, almost by chance during one of my first holidays on Elba. One of the few truly authentic places left in this fake, superficial world, where everything is cooked with great care, homemade. And what can I say about the stunning location among the hydrangeas, overlooking the view of Poggio. Feels like home Choosing the dishes was a tough one, and for the first course, I let Luigi convince me, recommending their ravioli topped with their house sauce, tagliatelle with Tuscan ragù, and for the second course, tripe and fried lamb chops with artichokes and baked potatoes. To finish, a lemon tart. Everything was excellent, especially the welcome and the way they listen to your feedback, every time you take a bite, makes it the highlight. Well done everyone!!!

Luigi is always a guarantee! Convenient and super cheap restaurant? Maybe not, but that's what McDonald's on the ring roads are for... Here, the food is good and high-quality. The portions are more than fair, and the red wine is sincere. Come out, you'll feel good! The pappardelle with wild boar are special, as are the rest of the menu. Confirming this is the consistently large local clientele! I'm happy that on an island almost exclusively devoted to tourism, there's a place that's authentic and that cares more about substance than appearance. See you next time! 🏴‍☠️
