12/10/2025: Good quality traditional Chianti food. Lovely atmosphere in this authentic Italian village. No wait and not crowded. Would 100% recommend!

17/07/2025: Il ristorante era stato suggerito dall'Hotel Sangallo (stesso proprietario), con la promessa di uno sconto del 10%. Lo sconto non e' stato applicato e, nonostante lo abbia fatto notare, hanno rimosso l'argomento con qualche battuta ma tenedosi i 5 euro. Per antipasto ho ordinato delle melanzane ripiene con ricotta. Piatto insapore, ha preso un po' di forza solo dopo che ho aggiunto dell’olio di oliva. Senza lode e senza infamia. Il primo piatto aveva dei tagliolini non fatti in casa, mentre lo zafferano utilizzato risultava di scarsa qualità con un sapore molto acre. Le mandorle non erano fresche ma di taglio industriale. Prodotti comprati e assemblati. Pessima infine l’anatra che ho mandato subito indietro al cameriere: era impossibile tagliarla. E' stata purtroppo cotta e ricotta non so quante volte, fino a sembrare ormai bollita. Cotture completamente sbagliate. Nonostante che l’anatra sia stata mandata indietro interamente perché non commestibile, è stata ugualmente addebitata come si vede da ricevuta in allegato. Serata da dimenticare!

23/06/2025: In questa cittadina medievale ho potuto apprezzare il buon cibo in diversi ristoranti e pub ma in questo locale, bellissimo nel centro cittadino, , si respira tranquillità e si mangia veramente bene se ti fai consigliare dai gestori. Ottimo il pesce e ben condito, ottimi i primi e gli stuzzichini e una tagliata morbidissima e cotta al punto giusto. Con i vini ti puoi sbizzarrire e pure con i dessert. Il prezzo può sembrare un pò alto ma quando si mangia bene non guardi a dieci euro, se puoi.

08/10/2025: Wonderful dinner. We were seated quickly despite not having a reservation. Staff was very kind and patient, despite my husband and I speaking limited Italian. We had the tegamaccia spaghetti and pizza La Molino. I can only say that it was the highlight of my day. All praise to the chef. I usually eat 1 slice of pizza. I ate half of the entire pizza. I would have eaten more, but I was competing with my husband for slices. I will remember the taste for a long time. I wish I had pictures, but we don't, because we inhaled it. Then we inhaled the tegamacci spaghetti - also incredible. So much seafood. Wine was great. Tiramisu was great. Highly recommend! If you read this far bless you and I wish you a good time at this restaurant.

15/09/2025: Good pizza, but the first course was a bit unrelated. The desserts were good. Service was very sketchy.

30/10/2025: Discovered by chance, but what a find! The place is small but clean, and the staff are very welcoming. The food—in this case, pizza and Neapolitan pastiera—are exceptional. We'll be back for the traditional Neapolitan pasta dishes.

30/10/2025: The position of this restaurant first drew us to it as we wandered around the town. It is stunningly positioned on the ramparts with views to the distant hills and even the sea. Between lunch and dinner it acts as a bar - and there aren't many better places to have a drink. The menu looked interesting, so we came back in the evening and caught a stunning sunset. We also had some excellent food: four different ages of pecorino with local honey and pepper dip, wild boar stew and Tuscan beef washed down with local red wine, all delicious. The service was friendly and relaxed. Highly recommended.

10/10/2025: A big "Meh." Pici cacio e pepe could easily be renamed panna e pepe, because that's all they tasted like... completely bland, no cheese at all. The pasta texture was too rubbery. Tagliatelle with wild boar ragù was definitely better, the ragù was pleasant, but the pasta was too overcooked. The Tuscan crostini were decent, the grilled vegetables were good. The service was standard for a tourist restaurant, and the atmosphere was spacious. In any case, I wouldn't go back, nor would I recommend it to Italian tourists looking for authentic, refined Tuscan cuisine. It's more of a place for an international clientele with no great pretensions.

27/09/2025: A simple and inexpensive restaurant. But the food is absolutely delicious. The prices are more than fair, and the service is friendly and reliable. For a quick and delicious dining experience. I'd go back anytime! :)

16/11/2025: A slightly old-fashioned restaurant (the 1980s Pergola posters are very nice), but the food is good! Not for those who prefer a cool atmosphere to fine dining, but the arrosticini are fantastic, the pizza is good, and the mushrooms were incredibly fresh! We'll definitely be back. Tip: There's a slight smell from the kitchen in the dining room that lingers on your clothes... but I don't think that's a problem in the summer.

09/11/2025: The aperitif was pretty poor, especially considering the quality of the food. We ordered the vegetarian platter, but the quality of the products was very low. It's a shame.

14/10/2025: We go there for a bit of relaxation, good drinks, even if we drink tea and coffee!

16/10/2025: A beautiful hotel with 40 rooms. Our room on the first floor (thanks for fulfilling our request) was spacious with plenty of room and a small west-facing balcony. The bathroom had plenty of counter space. Everything was very clean. The staff was professional and very helpful at the reception. The hotel's value for money was good, but we found the restaurant's price to be too high. Although it has been awarded a Michelin star in recent years, the food didn't impress us. Therefore, it didn't give it full marks.
