A distinctive culinary experience within the walls of Volterra: a truly sublime platter. If you want to sample traditional cuisine, this is definitely a must-see. There are tables outside that overlook the panoramic viewpoint. Very charming. The friendly and helpful staff, good food, and a quaint atmosphere.

I've been to this restaurant and had a truly wonderful time. The food was delicious: the dishes were carefully prepared and tasted excellent. The portions were also perfect, neither too large nor too small. A special thanks to the lady at the cashier, who was very kind and helpful. Recommended!

Last night, my partner and I, while Googling nearby restaurants, were drawn to the menu and decided to make a reservation. We arrived at the restaurant, which offers a breathtaking view of the Volterra hills, but that's certainly not their only strong point. We were greeted by the friendly staff, who seated us and immediately brought us water and delicious homemade bread. The menu is truly extensive, with few appetizers but so many inviting first and second courses, it was hard to decide! We ordered pappardelle with hare ragù and pici cacio e pepe, followed by Brunelleschi's Peposo and Volterra-style tripe. What can I say? EVERYTHING DELICIOUS! We were so pleased with the dinner that we decided to return for lunch today, also trying the Tuscan cured meats and pappardelle with wild boar. Osteria Fornelli has just gained two regulars for every time we return to Volterra!

We celebrated our daughter's baptism there. It's a wonderful, well-kept place where you can eat authentic local Volterra cuisine. I know the owners and I know how much passion and commitment they put into it. We'll definitely be back as soon as possible.

A very harmonious and typical restaurant; excellent cuisine; fantastic bread basket – homemade; the pasta was fantastic; the tagliata with arugula and Parmesan was also superb; very friendly; the price-performance ratio is excellent; highly recommended and reservations are a must.

Delicious, we were installed in the shade with a bit of breeze to refresh us. The food is delicious, especially the tagliatelle al tartufo! Do not hesitate !
