Lunch for two, both the Volterra-style tripe and the stewed wild boar were excellent, accompanied by simple Pannonia variations. To finish, the zuppa inglese was excellent and the house amaro was very aromatic. The price was reasonable. The owners were very attentive to their guests' needs.

A restaurant in the center of Volterra with good, if perhaps a little industrially prepared, dishes. The Pici were good, but machine-made, not hand-rolled. Evidently accustomed to large crowds.

We went on a Sunday, and despite it being fully booked, the service was courteous and fast. The food was good, and they even catered to me, as I'm celiac. Excellent value. We'll be back.
