Ristorante da Rino In Pisa

On May 31st, my family and friends went to Rino's to celebrate my birthday, and I have to say we had a wonderful time, both with the lunch, which was excellent, the service (very friendly), and the welcoming, clean atmosphere. I recommend it to everyone.

All the dishes were good but the service was slow and the staff was a bit careless.

Beautiful place, friendly and smiling staff, I had a really delicious octopus appetizer, soft octopus and tasty porcini mushrooms. We also ordered the fried fish, super dry, soft fish, fried to perfection ❤️❤️❤️ Rating 1000!❤️

Ristorante da Rino, a true gem and a historic landmark in Pisa, is located in the Barbaricina area on the Via Aurelia, just before San Rossore, the famous Natural Park. This restaurant is beautifully presented, a historic venue, and has undergone a remarkable makeover in recent years! Renowned for its excellent cuisine and the spacious indoor and outdoor spaces available for all ceremonies, it's furnished with meticulous attention to detail, spacious, well-maintained, and clean. We ate very, very well: a fish appetizer with eight different selections, a delicious mixed grill, crispy octopus on a chickpea puree... and not to mention the desserts, all truly exquisite and delicious. Excellent, high-quality ingredients, meticulous attention to detail, and a wide selection of fish, seafood, and various pizzas. Compliments to the entire staff!!

There were six of us at lunchtime, and we all ordered the pasta alla roccia. The flavor was mediocre, even though the fish seemed fresh. It was served pan-fried and plated at the table, but it was cold.

One evening for dinner with a group of about 30 people It was the end-of-course dinner for the Pisa CAI section of the Italian Alpine Club. We were a good group and chose Rino's because it's large, has parking, and is conveniently located, making it easy to reach for both Pisa residents and visitors. They seated us in the so-called Shark Room, a section to the side of the pizza oven, near the entrance, slightly secluded from the rest of the restaurant. And we had a wonderful time. When we booked, they let us choose from the menu (without having to make a pre-arranged menu, as many do in these cases), and I must say, they were all excellent. The owner (Rino's son, who is now deceased) is truly kind, patient, and professional. He took our orders like a true maestro. The young men and women who served us were equally as gracious: friendly, attentive, quick, and knowledgeable. I'm truly sincere and impressed: the restaurant is large, there were many other people, and we all ordered different things (some pizza, some dishes from the extensive menu, ranging from meat to fish). And despite the complexity, we didn't have to wait, and everything went smoothly. What did I eat? I had an Il Taglio del Norcino appetizer, a generous plate with culatello, truffle-flavored pecorino, cave pecorino, olives, and seasonal jam. I could have stayed, but I had ordered a tagliata. However, I forgot to tell them how I wanted it cooked. So I told a girl, knowing she might forget. No way: she remembered and made it just the way I wanted it. I'd say it's a place that works well and has a truly excellent setup.

Excellent food; we ordered the seafood tasting platter, and it was an explosion of flavors, and the house white wine was delicious. A pleasant atmosphere and exquisite service.

We found ourselves here by chance, and it was a great experience! The place is cute, especially outside where there are the lights. The pizza was good, as was the service.
