08/10/2025: If it were just for the food, Galatea would be a truly excellent pastry shop/gelateria, but every time I return, I regret it. Rudeness, high prices, and the owner likes to "mistake" change. I'll look elsewhere.

08/10/2025: Excellent breakfasts and snacks, I bought almond paste and cannoli to take home... everything was fantastic!!!

22/09/2025: I was passing by and, seeing the place as I passed, I stopped for dinner. Out of curiosity, I opted for a quick dinner here. I had a spleen sandwich, half a plain one, and half a Campese chicken with fries. Excellent quality!!!! The spleen sandwich was very good. The Campese chicken was out of this world: juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. You can tell whoever cooked it is a true professional. The fresh fries were slightly crunchy, but I like them that way; they stay soft and moist on the inside! The waitress, the one with the beautiful makeup, was kind and helpful. Congratulations to all of you. See you next time.

21/09/2025: We ordered pizzas and half a chicken at 7:45 PM, and they arrived at 10:30 PM, even though they told us the latest time was 9-9:30 PM. Furthermore, the pizzas arrived "burnt," and the sandwich with panelle and raw croquettes. The chicken was good quality, but the pizza dough hadn't risen enough. What a shame.

31/10/2025: When we review a place, we don't just focus on the quality of their products, but above all on the overall service. As others have pointed out, the wait times aren't the fastest, but as is well known, haste isn't the best companion for those who do things well. We're clearly in a pastry shop that has made history here in Palermo and has been a model for many others. We were talking about the service: kindness, courtesy, and very polite manners. We had requested a dessert that was unfortunately out of stock at the time, and when we asked the waiter, he kindly recommended an alternative that fully satisfied us, paying particular attention to our specific needs. There's little to say about the desserts and the rest; just read the other reviews. In any case, 7 Veli, granitas, cheesecakes, and single portions in general: a big no-brainer. It's the best pastry shop in Palermo, maybe not, but it's definitely among the best. We haven't noticed any particular impediments for certain types of disabled people. If you're looking for parking in the area, forget it.

27/08/2025: Historic sandwich shop! Family-run, first by father Vito, now by son Roberto. Quick, excellent sandwiches for all tastes. If you want something quick and tasty, this is the place. Highly recommended, the Diablo sandwich (my favorite).

17/09/2025: The restaurant is located inside a municipal park. It should be undergoing a renovation as it's a bit dated. You have to order when your order is ready; they call you to pick it up at the counter. There's no table service; you get your pizza in a takeout box, plastic cutlery, and that's it. The pizza is well-made with good toppings. All in all, if there aren't many frills, it's okay.

02/11/2025: Weekend in Palermo. I'll start by saying that my assessment is based solely on the type of pizza itself. Walking by pure chance, we stumbled upon the famous pizzeria Da Michele, so we decided to try their famous cartwheel pizza. Cooked in a wood-fired oven, the pizzas are traditionally very thin but delicious, with a light dough and good-quality ingredients. Personally, I'm not a fan of extremely thin pizzas, but this one is pleasant to eat. The place is welcoming and has a fairly quiet atmosphere.

30/10/2025: It's relatively less authentic than the original location in Naples. The staff is quite polite, and the service is excellent. It seemed a bit more expensive than the Naples location, but overall, the prices are reasonable.

15/10/2025: We ate lunch there, and were very pleased with our meals. The waiter and owner were very attentive. We chose pizza and pasta with the fish of the day, red mullet. We highly recommend it. Nicolas and Florence

14/10/2025: The place is very nice. I ordered swordfish Palermo-style, but it came grilled. Quite good. Price is average.

23/09/2025: We sat in a quit empty place but even though I speak Italian fluent and twice tried to get the waitress attention she complety ignored our company. The second time she instead smalltalked about where her parents came from with some other guests and just past us by. So don't bother go there, just walk about 75 meters away to a small but charming street nearby where you won't be ignored at the bars and restaurants.

13/09/2025: A nice place to relax after visiting all these beautiful Palermo cathedrals and monasteries. Otherwise — quite a basic place but with friendly staff. The bellini was refreshing!

05/08/2025: Always good ice cream, a historic name and a modern, functional space. Many flavors to suit all tastes.

15/07/2025: Excellent ice cream with genuine ingredients, without the use of substitutes. The desserts that are produced in the winter period are also excellent.

08/09/2025: I hadn't been there in a while. I remember the atmosphere being nice, but now it wasn't welcoming at all. The service was terrible, the waiters came every five seconds as if to chase us away, with a sullen look on their face. The food used to be good, but now it's so-so... We couldn't wait to leave and never return.

25/08/2025: Everything was delicious, and to be honest... Last night, Sunday, August 24th, we ate outside, and it was absolute torture. We left with headaches. There was a birthday party in the room to the left, with loud music... and meanwhile, still in the garden to our right, another DJ was playing other music, making more noise than music, blending into each other, literally giving us headaches. It was hard to even talk to each other at the table... This kind of situation should be addressed. It's a shame, because the place is beautiful and the food is truly good.

16/07/2024: Clean and welcoming place, friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. Rosa, the girl who served us, explained the entire menu to us precisely and clearly, also advising us on the dishes to take based on our tastes, from this we can see her preparation and knowledge of the cuisine on offer. My baby was also welcomed very well, Rosa immediately provided us with a high chair and some toys to entertain him. Excellent, tasty recommended dishes.. I had never been to a restaurant with Mexican cuisine and I must say that I was a little worried about the spiciness which is not to my liking, but my requests were fully satisfied even beyond my expectations . We will definitely be back!

09/08/2025: I'd definitely do it again. Everything was delicious and the welcome was wonderful. Living in Tuscany for work, I wasn't aware of this place, but after just being there for a pizza tour, oh well! What a pizza tour! I'll definitely be back during the Christmas period. Kudos to the management! 👍
