17/08/2024: We wanted to have a snack and got some bruschettas for 16€ here. We found it already expensive but thought maybe it was worth trying. An error. The bread looked like it was stored for one week at least and the tomatoes on top tasted like a mix of vinegar and soap. Truly disgusting. We couldn’t have more than one bite so we had to complain. The waiter tried to help us but the owner didn’t cooperate at all. His tone was very condescending and at the end he wanted to throw us out of the restaurant. Save your money and go to some of the many good restaurants there actually are in Palermo. This place is a tourist trap.

19/08/2024: Terrible cuisine, sad service. As a pizzeria it may be quite decent, but the restaurant is really the worst you can find in Cefalù. Menu straight from the worst nightmares of the 90s executed in an UNWORTHY way. Hard octopus salad, impossible to chew. Cheap grouper ravioli drowned in a sea of ​​cheap oil. The real gem is the pork shoulder: when they present the dish to you it looks like the pale loin served in hospital canteens. I have to say that "fortunately" the portion was also tiny, so the torment didn't last long. We couldn't believe our eyes. Side dish of grilled vegetables never arrived at the table: after all, like any self-respecting bad restaurant, you have to miss an order along the way. Obviously everything is accompanied by sloppy and approximate service, with one of the waiters THROWING the plates and glasses on the table, wild west saloon style. To call this restaurant a "tourist trap" would be to give it a compliment it doesn't deserve. To be 100% honest, we appreciated the full air conditioning. At least you stay cool in this summer heat.

15/07/2024: Qualche giorno fa ho vissuto un'esperienza un pò particolare insieme a mia moglie da Piero...a causa di un disguido col cameriere, la proprietaria ci ha offerto completamente la cena. Posso solo parlare bene di questo ristorante in cui abbiamo mangiato buon pesce, e visto l'esperienza e la professionalità, che dovrebbe essere insegnata a tutti i ristoratori. Applausi per il trattamento verso i clienti. Grazie

30/07/2024: Esperienza pessima! Siamo stati qui per rinfrescarci con due granite in una giornata torrida. I camerieri ci hanno fatto attendere per un po’ senza nemmeno vederci, dopo un bel po di attesa arrivano le fantomatiche “granite” , ossia ghiaccio tritato è sciolto con coloranti. Il tutto in un tavolo vuoto primo di tovaglioli e bicchiere d’acqua. Il nostro più grande errore è stato quello di non dire nulla subito e aver “bevuto” il ghiaccio tritato senza protestare. Quando abbiamo visto il conto è esplosa la nostra indignazione: 14€ per due coppe di ghiaccio colorato! Per di più il proprietario ci ha risposto che da loro la granita è così! Senza parole! Esperienza da sconsigliare!pessimo servizio d pessima qualità!

08/04/2024: The main venue is always full and you need to book well in advance. Alternatively they send you to the adjacent room, the bistro. Unlike the main one, this one is very spartan, aseptic, suitable for young football enthusiasts. On Saturday evenings the volume of the background noise is very annoying, but this does not depend on the manager but on the education of the customers. Let's talk about the times. Even though the waiters were running around non-stop, if you add a room you need to better organize the kitchen, which is the same as the main room. It took two hours to consume an appetizer, two second courses and two desserts, with waits of more than thirty minutes between one course and the next. The food was a little below expectations, presented well, good but nothing special. The crepes are good but ordinary, they are not worth the cost, the goulash is actually a stew (the onions, herbs, sweet paprika, etc. were missing) this too is not worth the price paid, the German potato salad was also missing that of onion, chives, parsley and mustard. Basically good dishes but Italian rather than Hungarian or German. We really liked the strudel, however, served with vanilla ice cream it gave that acidic contrast of apples and sweet vanilla, hot and cold. Finally, the appropriate price if the food had met expectations.

30/08/2024: This was actually the best ice cream on the island for me. Large selection, great prices and an enormously large portion for 3 euros. So good that I immediately wanted more. The other food looked really good too!

The first course was a little bland and the pasta was a little undercooked. Fried a little greasy and small. The dessert was very good. The next day, however, both my boyfriend and I had a bad day in the bathroom with a horrible stomach ache.
