18/06/2025: Excellent bar at Piazza Indipendenza. Everything was great! Go there for the real Palermo, most of the custumers are locals who live nearby. It’s a Palazzo Normanni quarter who serves breakfast, snacks, lunch, patisserie and anything else you can think of. We went there for breakfast, the fresh orange juice is delicious. Try the cornetti, because they are to die for. Of course you can also go there at any other time of the day.

28/05/2025: Never again in this place table service they don't do things anymore you bring them yourself price increase a complete kebab 9 euros not to mention the hygiene outside dirty white tables from the beach very dirty tent we paid 30 euros never again

15/05/2025: I found myself eating with friends at this pizzeria a few days ago. The place is for families with children who can also play and have fun with inflatables (they make a bit of a mess, yes, but it's bearable). Speaking of food... I ate really well! We had various appetizers, the hot mix was much appreciated also because it was fried very well, the pizza cigars were fantastic, as was the sfincione! The pizza was also very good and well-seasoned. The service was very attentive, fast and above all kind. You can see that the owner (an exquisite and capable person) has an excellent relationship with the staff and together they form a great team. I will return even if I don't have children 😅

30/06/2025: We asked ChatGPT for a low key non touristy restaurant in Palermo. This neighborhood gem pop up and the owner Biondo was awesome. This place felt like you were invited to a traditional Italian sunder dinner. Everything tasted straight from the farm. Beautiful and sweet vegetables plus the pasta was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately we order too many apps and sides. We couldn’t finish our dinner but 100% recommendations! If I ever come back to Palermo, I would visit Biondo again.

25/06/2025: Average Sicilian restaurant. They also advertise pizza, but they don't serve it. The food was barely seasoned. No wine selection. Totally overpriced.

05/01/2025: The place is beautiful, you can choose many things and even host tables with many people and the food is nothing to say, all very good. The only problem is that to get to the place the road is almost with many curves and the parking is on pieces of land where if they get wet they can dirty the wheels

11/04/2025: Typical old school café, you come in, drink your coffee standing up and leave - it couldn't be more Italian. The place itself looks a bit worn out as it seems to have been around for a few years, not a fancy hipster hotspot - Sicilians drink here!! The service is simply brusque but effective, understandable given how busy it is in the morning. The coffee itself has a creamy, bitter chocolate note and the price is good. As long as we are in Palermo we will order our first cappuccino here. grace

28/06/2025: We went this evening with my wife. We ate very well, substantial appetizer and really good pizzas. A wonderful discovery, we will definitely be back. Compliments also to the friendly and helpful staff, and the bill is much lower than many other places that do not have the same quality

31/05/2025: Title: “i panini del Mistero – Cronache di Tre Prof Affamate” On a sunny Sicilian afternoon, when even cats seem to melt on the sidewalks and the shops close their shutters as if they were Egyptian tombs, three schoolmates, armed only with backpacks, irony and desperation, venture along Corso Umberto I in Cinisi. The sun beats down, the pangs of hunger scratch their stomachs. Time has passed, 2 pm has long since struck, and hopes are becoming as thin as worn chalk. “We don’t eat here anymore!” exclaims the first, in a tone of Greek tragedy. “Not even a sandwich in sight…” sighs the second, already ready to give up. But the third, the most intrepid of the trio, peers down the street and… sees it. A sign. A flash. “L’Arte del Pane”: the only bastion open in that gastronomic desert. A living bakery. Active. Illuminated by smiles and the smell of baking. The three of them, as if they were the Tomb Raiders of flour, throw open the door like in a western. Inside, the girls at the counter, true priestesses of irony, welcome them with an energy not even on the first day of school. Two of them order sandwiches. But the third, the slightly more poetic (or hungrier) one, goes all out for the Sicilian sfincione. One bite and… BAM! Ecstasy. A warm and tasty caress to the taste buds, with that soft base that seems to be made of clouds mixed with tomato and oregano. And since destiny had already been rewritten, a Coca-Cola couldn’t be missing. But not just any Coca-Cola: one with the name printed on it. The mission begins: “Find the name of the heart”. She fishes it out. But the name is… the wrong one. “Nooooo, not that name!” the other two shout, as if they had seen an ex at the supermarket. Laughter, teasing, and in the end? All three of them buy it. Like any self-respecting legend, the obstacle turns into a celebration. Honorable mention to the owner and the staff: ironic, brilliant, with a ready joke and the desire to make every customer feel part of a little floury fairy tale. And so, between laughter and crumbs, the teachers discover a place they had never entered, in a part of the course they had never arrived at. Because sometimes the best roads are precisely those less traveled. Compliments to L’Arte del Pane: for the sandwiches, the sfincione… and the unexpected culinary adventure. We’ll be back. But this time… with more names on Coke. 😄

03/03/2025: A piece with bechamel for 3 euros for the carnival... Never again. And they even call it ravazzata... Well... Basically a brioscina with a lick of bechamel. Double the size of Palermo and less than half its size. Seasoning just to say.

04/05/2025: Ambiente encantador justo al lado de una calle concurrida en Ortigia. El personal era amable y servicial con la organización de una mesa más grande para nosotros, incluso en un espacio reducido. Carta diversa, con muchas opciones geniales para un banquete más grande o un almuerzo más ligero. Sabroso marisco fresco y buen antipasto. Los platos de pasta eran maravillosos y llenos de sabor. Recomiendo encarecidamente los raviolis caseros con cerdo. No había muchas opciones de cócteles, pero el mojito virgen era tan refrescante que tuve que tomar otro.

15/04/2025: Preciosas opciones de comida siciliana en el menú. Restaurante íntimo muy popular con buen servicio en la noche que estuvimos allí. Iría de nuevo. Recomiendo reservar como puede estar ocupado.
