The quality/price ratio is good, the products are always fresh and there's a wide variety to choose from. Many excellent Palermo specialties are available, including the super-top baked arancini.

We enjoyed an excellent "apericena" (aperitif dinner) recommended by the very kind staff. The typical Sicilian food was excellent and plentiful. For €12 per person, it was a wonderful experience.

I'm a regular customer because Macallè stands for quality and deliciousness. From the panelle sandwich to the pizza, everything is delicious...and the deli is always top-notch, and the staff is incredibly kind!

I visited Macallè Sicilian Food and found a true Palermo rosticceria, done as it should be! Everything was delicious: arancini, panelle, and dry, flavorful fried foods, just as tradition demands. Fast service, friendly staff, and fair prices. Highly recommended!

18/07/2026: We had an aperifish. The food was good, and if you're not a big eater, it was more of a dinner than an aperitif. It was an experience worth repeating.
