11/04/2025: Typical old school café, you come in, drink your coffee standing up and leave - it couldn't be more Italian. The place itself looks a bit worn out as it seems to have been around for a few years, not a fancy hipster hotspot - Sicilians drink here!! The service is simply brusque but effective, understandable given how busy it is in the morning. The coffee itself has a creamy, bitter chocolate note and the price is good. As long as we are in Palermo we will order our first cappuccino here. grace

Located in Via Rosolino Pilo 22, this historic coffee roasting company, active since the post-war period thanks to Giuseppe De Caro, is synonymous with quality and tradition. As soon as you enter, you will be greeted by the unmistakable scent of fine blends, carefully roasted to enhance the aroma and taste to the maximum. The coffee served here is strong, smooth and enveloping, prepared with mastery according to the best Italian tradition. The cup always arrives piping hot, as per true Sicilian school, allowing you to enjoy the espresso at its best. The atmosphere of the place is authentic and familiar, and the staff is kind and professional. It is one of those corners of Palermo that resist time, keeping the art of artisanal coffee roasting alive. If you are looking for the best coffee in the city, this is the right place. You absolutely must try it!

26/08/2025: I've been going there for about 40 years. It's a high-end pastry shop, deli, and ice cream parlor. For those who want to sit down, there's a separate room from the bar. There's also a well-stocked tobacconist.

30/06/2025: English: I spent three days and two nights at this agriturismo and I'll start by simply saying that if I could give it 0 stars, I would have done so without thinking twice. The photos of the rooms do not reflect reality at all: rickety beds without a minimum of stability, stained sheets, dead insects that are not removed during the "cleaning" of the room. When we booked, we were not told that on the day of our arrival they would not serve lunch and we found ourselves wandering around Gangi looking for a place to have lunch, reassured by a lady who had said that dinner would be served; however, that same afternoon, speaking with the owner, he told us that we would see each other the next day during breakfast, because dinner would not be served. More wandering around Gangi. Breakfast was disgraceful, but none of the meals consumed here were worthy of a agriturismo: biscuits that are sold in any supermarket, croissants from the nearby bar, cereals served in a Nutella jar (dirty, by the way). The dinners and lunches were disappointing, everything was frozen; but the icing on the cake was undoubtedly a scoop of ice cream for the modest sum of €3.50. My father had asked the owner if it was possible to turn on the television, and the answer was: "But you already have the connection on your cell phone". In short, a polite way of saying that he did not want customers to use the television. I will avoid dwelling on the unprofessional habit of addressing adult and unknown customers with the familiar form of "tu". The menu must be explicitly requested, because, otherwise, you are greeted with the question "What do you want to eat?". Often and willingly, the menu is not brought. In short, the same organization of a grandmother who receives a surprise visit from her grandchildren. The city of Gangi is certainly pleasant and welcoming, and I will return to visit it with pleasure, but I will certainly not set foot in this agriturismo and I do not recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a short vacation or even just a pleasant lunch. I attach a photo of the dead insect left to rest in peace by the cleaners, and I'm only sorry I didn't take a photo of the miserable scoop of ice cream.
