22/09/2025: All recommendations, the owner of the cafe is very friendly, the coffee is brutal, the best in Palermo! Croissants are fresh and delicious!!! If you go to Palermo, drink coffee here!!!

11/04/2025: Typical old school café, you come in, drink your coffee standing up and leave - it couldn't be more Italian. The place itself looks a bit worn out as it seems to have been around for a few years, not a fancy hipster hotspot - Sicilians drink here!! The service is simply brusque but effective, understandable given how busy it is in the morning. The coffee itself has a creamy, bitter chocolate note and the price is good. As long as we are in Palermo we will order our first cappuccino here. grace

28/07/2025: I come here often. If I had to recommend it, go if you have children. Yes, since there's a playground, it's chaotic, but it's still great for us families. One flaw is the food. We had three pizzas and a hamburger. The hamburger was horrible. The bread was too thick, it looked like a brochette. The hamburger was small, a bit of salad was spit out, and a tiny slice of bacon. To be precise, it was called a bacon burger. The pizzas were nothing special, although you don't know how to make parmigiana. The waiters were very kind, nice, and very active, but the food was nothing special. We only go there to entertain the kids, but it's nothing special anyway. If this place improved, it would be better, and I'd go more often.

31/08/2025: I'm giving it one star because I have to. We ordered crepes, which arrived feeling like rubber in our mouths. The Nutella was anything but Nutella, tasting disgustingly good, and clearly frozen and reheated. We asked to exchange the crepes for something else, and the very polite waiter replied that we'd already eaten it, taking offense as if we were making fun of him. He arrogantly turned his back and walked away. The mistake is understandable, but rudeness is not acceptable.

12/10/2025: Highly recommended!!! Welcoming and polite service, delicious authentic food. We tried many places and kept coming back here. Food is fresh and homemade, which many other place do not have.

11/10/2025: A great place. Lunch for two cost 35-40 euros, but we couldn't finish it all, so we took it with us. We each had five courses. The portions were large, the food was delicious, fast, and the service was friendly. I really enjoyed it. Special thanks to the petite, slender waitress with her bright eyes, attentive and smiling! I highly recommend it!

14/07/2025: Cena in famiglia, andato su consiglio di un amico locale devo dire che mi hanno sorpreso preso 1 antipasto della casa in 4 delizioso e poi tartare,tagliata e primo tutto squisito. Costo forse un pochino sopra la media ma ne è valsa veramente la pena torneremo sicuramente è lo consiglieremo. BRAVI

24/08/2025: We were looking for a quiet place away from the chaos and found it in Montelepre, at the Candela brothers' Original Pizza. Excellent wood-fired pizzas, truly delicious burgers and kebabs, and fast and attentive service: even though we ordered different items, everything arrived together. A lovely surprise, we really enjoyed it! Everything was prepared with care and excellent ingredients.

14/06/2025: Simple and clean environment. In summer, to enjoy the cool of Montelepre, you eat on the street inside a delimited space. The pizzas are excellent, cooked in a wood oven and topped with very good ingredients. The service is not very fast but the courtesy of the girls who serve at the tables more than makes up for it. We will return... it is not a threat but a promise.

10/10/2025: A must-visit when I'm in Palermo. It's not the usual place frequented by tourists, but rather by locals. The prices are low and accessible to everyone, and they offer a variety of dishes, from hot dishes to desserts and even pasta dishes... as far as I'm concerned, the staff has always been very kind and helpful.

25/06/2025: English speaking staff and the Granita is refreshing and nice. A good spot to relax in front of the Garibaldi Garden.

My server seemed surprised that at the peak of tourist season in Sicily that his customers do not all speak Italian, and impatiently grunted and gesticulated at me when I did not understand him. Thanks to Marco Larosa, last night my husband and I spent a wonderful evening in a very evocative location, with excellent dishes made with top-quality ingredients, expertly prepared by expert hands. You're wondering where? All this at the Naka Restaurant, drinks & sushi with Mediterranean cuisine, right at the foot of Her Majesty the Cathedral. You can dine both inside and outside: we opted for the outside. The place is truly refined, very elegant. The table setting is very minimal, but with very refined touches, from the lamp to the metal chopsticks. Not to mention the real gem that really makes a difference these days...the champagne served in its 1920s-style glass. Truly remarkable!! (Enough with champagne served in a Prosecco flute... here at Naka, class is not water 😉.) Let's get to the food: the menu is well-described, divided into two lists for sushi and Mediterranean dishes. We opted for sushi; I don't remember the names of the dishes, but with sea urchins, Mazzara red shrimp, truffle, tuna, salmon...seaweed, and the excellent rice, it was a true taste experience, and each piece was an explosion of distinct flavors that blended divinely. In short, Naka confirms itself as a top place to return to again and again with great pleasure and the certainty of not being disappointed. 28/04/2025: The quality of the food is good but very expensive. Furthermore, a glass of Grillo which was €6 on the menu was billed to us at €7 (×2). And the much renowned baguettes, which were served to us sliced ​​to accompany the platter, were defrosted and also badly because the inside was very sticky.

23/09/2025: Best food in Palermo! Stayed in Palermo for a week for work, visited here two nights in a row. Sadly didn’t have the chance to bring my colleagues here as promised, but strongly recommend! The pasta is amazing and staff are super nice. To the restaurant: all the best with you!
