17/04/2025: I book the "courtyard suite" for a long weekend (3 nights). In the photo and in reality, a beautiful, huge room with two bathrooms and a bathtub in the room. I choose this type of accommodation not only for the elegance but also to be "less disturbed" compared to other rooms. When we arrived we were actually presented with a beautiful suite but with humidity and mold on the walls and the smell of a salami aging cellar: I point out the "problem". I am told that "I didn't know but I have no other accommodations until tomorrow (Sunday)". We sleep there enticed by an evening of dancing (disco music) in the garden... (i.e. 1.5 meters from our accommodation). The next day they allow us to change rooms, hosting us on the 1st floor in a "classic" room (18 m2 compared to 30 in the courtyard suite). Nobody apologizes for the inconvenience. The night in this room was enlivened by the roar of the toilet flushing which did not stop: repaired, after two attempts, the following morning. Tuesday at check out: no mention and payment for drinks in the room, including my birthday cake (also delicious). Another negative note: poor breakfasts and with "basic" raw materials certainly not worthy of Sicily. Never again!

24/03/2025: After booking we find ourselves in a real military campsite without being notified beforehand, they justified themselves by saying they had two birthdays in the room, we paid 10 euros for a simple salad and it wasn't not even on the written menu, 5 girls came to tell us how I wanted the chicken breast, the decent pizzas but on Saturday they made fun of the people who were not informed of the location!!!!! We won't go there again!!

15/02/2025: 2 coffees, a pistachio croissant consumed at the counter and a small piece of simple chocolate cake weighing approximately 100g. to take away, a whopping €7.50. I don't know, as if there were specific products for celiacs that have a certain cost. I was stunned, I won't go back again. Furthermore, the environment is nice but very small and I didn't feel at ease at all.

21/03/2025: Disappointing experience. The pizzas arrived 40 minutes late, cold and with the bill increased without any explanation. Furthermore, the lady suggested that I deduct the money from the wrong account from the next time, but, at this point, there won't be a next time. When I tried to express my disappointment, the response I received was 'ma'am, it's not up to us', without even an apology. There is no justification for such a lack of attention. We order from this place frequently, but after this experience, we won't do so again.

30/03/2025: Nice pub and pretty good wine list. A warm and social place. Go there for wine, other drinks, cheese board and socializing. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. Over-fried meat, burnt and fish-tasting vegetables, among other things. Other simpler dishes were better.

23/03/2025: I only learned this evening about the history of this historic, family-run place. From a hardware store to a meeting place between food and wine. Excellent food, service and welcome with live music.

28/08/2024: So unfortunate that most of the products are frozen. Plus when we were there they weren't serving any seafood. Other than that the server was very nice and the location is great to have a drink.

19/08/2024: I found this place through online reviews and I highly recommend it! All the products are very fresh and they make everything freshly! We waited about 15 minutes for the arancine and cannoli and the quality-price ratio was excellent.
