28/06/2025: For a truly local food experience this trattoria is perfect. It's away from all the tourist crowds. Some staff members don't speak English, but they try to help and ask their colleagues who do. I've used the app for translation but other team members were quick to help with a smile. Pasta dishes are superb, full of flavour. The option to order half a portion is simply brilliant. Regular size portions are large so be aware. Beef steak with cheese was also very tasty and tender. The value for money is much better than on the main street and the atmosphere is 100% real Palermo. The old photographs of Palermo are so interesting.

23/06/2025: Typical old-style trattoria dedicated to the Palermo football club. Excellent value for money, the best among the trattorias in Palermo that we tried. For the first courses you can choose between a half portion (60 grams) and a full portion (120 grams). The general menu lists all the specialties, really many, then inside the menu is proposed with the specialties available that day. We tried the grouper ravioli, the roasted swordfish and the sardine meatballs. We would have returned a second time but unfortunately we were unable to, I recommend checking the opening hours and booking.

15/06/2025: Excellent welcome on a weeknight with friends. Staff (Ivan), helpful and friendly. Excellent food in quality and portions. Prices in the norm. A successful evening.

14/06/2025: The cone is definitely old-fashioned! The ice cream is borderline acceptable: watery and not very consistent, not creamy at all, in my opinion. The cone is almost soft, poor quality, not the classic crispy and fragrant wafer. It is definitely a scenic ice cream shop for the passing tourist, but with a quality that is no longer traditional.

11/05/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo posto grazie ad alcuni video sui social. Quando siamo arrivati non c’era fila, ma tempo di ordinare e si era accumulata un po’ di gente in fila in attesa di entrare. All’interno si possono trovare tantissimi dolci, noi abbiamo preso il cannolo. Vengono farciti al momento, ricotta molto buona e si può scegliere come guarnirli (cioccolato, pistacchio, arancia candita). I cannoli sono giganti. Li abbiamo trovati buoni, ma a parere personale preferisco il guscio di pasta più spesso e più saporito. Prezzo del singolo cannolo €4. Consigliato 👍🏻

29/05/2025: I hadn't been there since the location was in via Serradifalco, a lifetime ago. I was pleased to note that the sandwiches are still excellent as they once were. There are also many other things to try, a truly vast menu. Welcoming interior. Absolutely affordable prices. Good service.

29/05/2025: Sarei un disonesto se consigliassi un locale con cucina romana la peggiore mai mangiata. Una Carbonara pannosa mai mangiata a Roma, con ingredienti di scarsa qualità per non parlare della amatriciana tutta la stessa qualità di pasta "Tonnarelli" anche un pò scotti. La ragione per cui NON mi sento di consigliare il locale a parte che di cucina romana ha ben poco, forse neppure cuochi Italiani ci stanno ai fornelli, è la scarsa pulizia del locale in genere, un coperto pagato €. 2,50 per avere un tavolo e una tovaglietta appiccicosa, perchè ripuliti subito dopo che va via il cliente in bellavista con una spruzzatina di sa cosa ed una pezza lurida. Privi di appoggiare qualcosa al tavolo che restava appiccicato. Mi è sembrato lora di uscire dal locale e andare a prendere un digestivo. MAI PIU'

12/06/2025: Ordered takeaway with a special app, fast delivery, food arrived hot, delicious, both the sandwiches and the panelle and crocchè. Too bad we only ordered three sandwiches, we would have liked to eat them all. Excellent variety, reasonable prices, but above all quantity and quality. We will return, highly recommended

03/06/2025: appetizer of french fries panelle and crocche ' full of oil you could see that the appetizer was lowered back into the oil to reheat them I think it's better to make people wait but not reheat the appetizers I didn't like the stroller sandwich poor products the porchetta as a salami seemed like cooked ham shoulder. Never again a disappointment.

30/05/2025: The hosts are the excellent, especially the one from Gambia. It is a wine bar and he knows all the wines from all the regions of Italy. Also he has a great smile and speaks English perfectly. The bar is in a chic neighborhood and fills up on the sidewalk with chic Palermo citizens.
