22/12/2025: We discovered this place by chance, where time seems to have stood still. The atmosphere is refined, with a roaring fireplace warming the atmosphere. We enjoyed an excellent grilled meat and a platter of top-quality cured meats. We'll be happy to return. Recommended!

13/12/2025: A mini museum with a restaurant inside. A beautiful restaurant, very clean, carefully decorated, and filled with many beautiful objects. When I entered, the two fireplaces were off. I didn't dare disturb them, but then the owner and the girl in the dining room (I don't know their names) took care of lighting them. We enjoyed excellent typical Salento cuisine; the broad beans with chicory were delicious, as were the fresh pasta and the mixed grill. Thank you for the service and the bill. It respects the quality of the products. The only question I didn't dare ask: Why is there no wine list, but everything is reduced to: Reds, Whites, and Rosés, when the Cantina Bella is full of beautiful and interesting bottles.

16/01/2026: La Castellana is a welcoming trattoria where, as soon as you enter, you immediately feel at home. Homemade cuisine, well-made pizza, and friendly table service make the experience enjoyable from start to finish. I recommend La Castellana to anyone looking for a genuine place, ideal for good food in a family atmosphere.

18/08/2025: We celebrated our anniversary a few days ago. There were 50 of us. At the end of the event, all our guests told us they hadn't been to the place before and were thrilled with the location, the hospitality, and, above all, the variety, deliciousness, and quantity of the food at the sumptuous buffet they'd prepared for us, all accompanied by drinks, spritzers, and Lemon gin. We'd been to a terrace party last year and loved it, and even more so this year!!! We thank the owner and staff for ensuring a successful party. We'll be back for other future events... and I think many of our friends and family will too, now that they've been! Best regards Daniela and Leo

13/08/2025: If it were possible, I wouldn't even give it one star. The barista was incredibly unpleasant: rude, unwelcoming, impossible to ask. When asked about the fillings of some products, she simply didn't answer, ignoring us completely. When she brought the milk to the table, it was already half-filled, with a dirty saucer. She arrived without saying a word and literally slammed the things on the table in an arrogant manner. There was also a man present, I think the owner, who didn't exude any kindness. The outdoor tables in the garden were dirty. The interior, in theory, could be nice, but the atmosphere was anything but welcoming. With 40°C outside, the air conditioning was barely audible, and we were sweating. A terrible experience: I would never go back.

22/11/2025: Terrible experience!! We got a table at 9:00 PM, and ate at midnight. The service was truly awful.

10/09/2025: Absolutely NOT We had lunch and ordered fried calamari. They served it completely raw! I asked for it to be cooked better, and after two seconds, the dish was back to normal. Naturally, I only had salad. I paid, and they didn't even ask why I hadn't eaten. Never again!!!!

16/04/2026: We were very surprised compared to the photos on their website. The room was dirty. We even saw cockroaches. Breakfast was the bare minimum. Luckily, we only stayed one night. Avoid this hotel.

18/08/2025: We stumbled upon this bistro the first time by chance, and then returned a second time. The service was good, provided by young women that day, and the non-alcoholic cocktails were very good (plenty of choice). Thank you so much for this experience.

The relaxing and pleasant atmosphere captivated us so much that we ordered more wine and other dishes, whose simplicity and flavor contributed to a wonderful evening, crowned by impeccable service, professionalism, and a smile.

26/10/2025: We trusted a friend's recommendation, but unfortunately the food wasn't up to par! The octopus was very salty and tough, and the seafood lasagna was just pasta and béchamel sauce! The fish was nonexistent! Only the orecchiette pasta with meatballs and sauce was passable! We definitely won't be back!!! Not recommended.

09/09/2025: My husband and I stayed 10 days at this agriturismo: an oasis of peace just steps from Porto Cesareo. Strategically located for reaching the most beautiful beaches and towns in Salento. I had a great time: spacious room with a typical Apulian feel, fresh and clean, with daily towel changes, and a small fridge. The pool is beautiful with a view of the countryside. The breakfast is excellent and varied, both sweet and savory. You can also dine on site, serving traditional dishes. I recommend purchasing their products, including oil, wine, and jams. Overall, a great holiday, thanks to all the staff. Catia.

08/09/2025: Excellent property surrounded by greenery with a pool. Excellent breakfast with fresh, local produce. It's about a ten-minute drive from the sea.

13/07/2026: A truly quiet and relaxing bar, it doesn't even feel like you're in Torre Chianca. The beach in front is heaven. We can't wait to return.

12/07/2026: A bad experience. We ordered pizza by the slice and it was frozen. And the pasta was a disaster. The dish was overflowing with water and tomato sauce. We didn't eat it and they didn't charge us for it. It's a shame that a place with such beautiful views doesn't serve decent food. The waitress was very friendly, though.

16/07/2026: It was the first time I felt sick at a sushi restaurant. At first, I ate a lot, probably because I was hungry, but then I started to notice the real taste of poor quality.

12/07/2026: At lunch... after struggling to figure out where to enter and parking in the convenient, sunny internal parking lot... I enter the Chinese/Japanese world with 8 other seats occupied on a Friday at 1:45 pm... at the table it's convenient for me to order with the tablet even if you need one per person and not one per table... despite the seats outside we had to eat inside, a catastrophic choice... inside everything is vaulted and very Salento and stylish, shame about the hellish heat and humidity... in short, as soon as I sat down and appreciated the architecture I just wanted to leave... then I make an effort and stay... to make a long story short: poorly presented dishes and without any kind of plating... soy spaghetti with seafood, inedible and soupy, really badly done... fried squid rings, 3 rings per portion... sushi average low but still decent... nothing was exciting and would make me return if not forced... thank goodness for the bill at 23 euros and 40 are I left without feeling any sudden changes in temperature... actually, I was sweatier and more tired than before.
