The takeout pizza was delicious, fragrant, and well-topped. The kindness and friendliness of the girl at the cash register was particularly noteworthy; it's almost unbelievable to find such courteous and helpful staff in a Salento area crowded with tourists and locals. Congratulations.

If you're passing through San Foca, stopping at Il Vagabondo is a must. We started with a top-notch fritto misto: plentiful yet incredibly light, and you can tell the oil is clean and the frying is done to perfection. The pizza really stands out, though: truly exceptional in flavor and digestibility. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. We'll definitely be back!

12/03/2026: Passing through Nardò We made a series of calls looking for a pizzeria with gluten-free pizza And after many failures because they offered us industrial pizza bases, We tried Rostipizza Mania and they told us that Mario makes the pizza bases there! We trusted them and it was the best choice. I've never eaten such a good gluten-free pizza, from the base to the toppings. It's more of a takeout pizzeria with just a few tables, but it was worth it. Well done, Mario and the pizza chef. Delicious!
