21/10/2025: We were seated quickly and waited more than twenty minutes for our drinks, but without bread. The water billed was clearly tap water, given the taste. The dishes lacked finesse (thick linguine and soggy pizza dough).

23/07/2025: Le pire restaurant de ma vie nous y sommes allé un jour où le restaurant ouvrait à 11h. Nous sommes arrivé à 11h45, quand nous arrivions devant le restaurant le serveur qui nous voit nous ferme la porte au nez 😤🤬🤯 Quand ouvre la porte il se tourne est nous froidement que il n’ouvre pas que dans 35 minutes et il nous propose rien. HORRIBLE LE PIRE RESTO ❌❌❌

09/07/2025: Una stella perche’ meno non si puo’! 50 euro per due antipasti fantasia che si chiama o cosi perche’ ce ne vuole tanta… 28 euro un piatto misero di paccheri coi gamberi “viola”, antipasto di terra con formaggio da pizza e prosciutto cotto nel piatto!!!!!! Fuggite finche’ siete in tempo!! Informatevi sui fuorimenu!

11/09/2025: This place is definitely one to avoid. We waited a long time even though it was empty. The pizza was awful, and even worse, the cold cuts on the platter were stale and not fresh. I regret not getting up and leaving. Customers need to be taken care of.

02/08/2025: I don't usually leave reviews, especially when I'm disappointed. This time I felt like it, paradoxically because the owners seemed kind and passionate. I was passing by, saw some people sitting outside, and stopped to get a pizza to go. What can I say, once I got home and tasted the pizza, my smile faded: I was completely disappointed: the pizza was exaggeratedly thin, really, too much, and even more so, rubbery. I felt no pleasure in eating it, even though the ingredients were undoubtedly fresh, but just thrown away. I ate it in five minutes, both because of the inconsistency and because I was dissatisfied. I'm really disappointed because the owners really seemed very passionate, and it's not like me to leave reviews like that. The pizza I ate wasn't at all worth the price I paid, very far from it, because after all, there wasn't any pizza per se; I felt like I wasted my money. I hope it was a coincidence. Good luck.

09/06/2025: I am a Deliveroo rider and I happened to try pizza at this place by pure chance. Last night, during my working hours, I went to pick up a delivery at Carminiello and, since it wasn't ready yet and I had been fasting since 12:00, I took advantage of the opportunity to quickly eat half a pizza from those on display: a margherita with buffalo mozzarella. I was literally amazed by the strong and excellent flavor and the consistency of the dough, digestible, filling and quality. I can say that this is the best pizza I have eaten here in Lecce. It definitely deserves a five-star rating. It should be noted that it is a small place, with few seats, so it is ideal for a quick meal or for takeaway. The most critical reviews are definitely exaggerated compared to the quality of the pizza prepared in this place and the service provided and lower the average rating too much, which (although very good) does not do justice to the excellence of Carminiello. 23/09/2025: This bar is ideally located with a terrace overlooking the old town opposite, but the sense of service is lacking. The staff ignores customers. You have to go out of your way to be served/pay your bill. The cleanliness of the terrace is marginal. We asked the waiter to open the umbrella, without response and without result. It's not expensive otherwise

07/09/2025: The rooms are a bit dated, and ours faced the main road, so it was quite noisy. The downside is that it's really close to the center and the beach. Breakfast is plentiful, and the bar staff, Tiffany and Giada, are truly commendable. The cleanliness of both the rooms and the property is good.

13/07/2025: We stayed with them for a short weekend. We had a wonderful time, the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the location was perfect! But a special mention goes to the girl who looked after us with breakfast... since I'm lactose intolerant (she promised me over the phone when I booked), it was a lactose-free pasticciotto! Which I found directly this morning... it may be a trivial thing, but I finally didn't find packaged croissants and vegan biscuits! Well done... keep it up!

29/09/2025: The pizza was good despite the wait, but just looking at the August receipt today, I noticed the gluten-free Peroni for €6. A steal!

27/09/2025: The pizzas are good, but unfortunately the slowness and internal disorganization make for a negative experience. Not because of the very friendly waiters, but rather because of the slowness in making the pizzas. Two hours for four pizzas with the restaurant almost empty is simply not an option, especially if you assure me there's a chance to come to a table and eat at that time. Avoid if you're in a hurry.

29/10/2025: Despite the mixed reviews we had a brilliant experience here - delicious pizza and pasta, friendly service and a gorgeous view of the bay - couldn't ask for more.

10/05/2025: Disorganized. I spent 5.50 for a kebab that never arrived, they made me wait 30 minutes saying that the kebab had already been collected, lying. When the boy speaks it is incomprehensible and he replied that it was my business. Really terrible, I will never set foot in this "place" again due to their incompetence and disorganization

03/07/2025: Siamo in vacanza decidiamo di ritornare a cena in questo ristorante/macelleria gia c’eravamo stati anni fa ordiniamo bruschette con verdure ottime e due tagliate una al sangue una media cottura sono arrivate tutte e due con la media cottura e tiepide, qualita’ della carne ottima genera, ci viene offerto un amaro, personale gentile, nell’insieme lo consigliamo
