01/03/2026: I'm giving one star only because you can't give zero. Next time, perhaps instead of making us wait 30 minutes for the waiter to come and let us get up after getting our ice cream and drinks, put a sign at each table saying that you have to order to be seated. It would waste less time and you would definitely make a better impression. AVOID ONLY FOR THE RUDENESS.

18/08/2025: Lido del Sol in Marina di Pescoluse is a little paradise in Salento! The well-kept lawn area offers ample space, well-spaced umbrellas, and a perfect play area for children. Extremely friendly and professional staff, excellent cuisine (pizza and fresh seafood), a bar with cocktails, and quality dining options. The sea is picture-perfect, with crystal-clear waters reminiscent of the Maldives of Salento. A few details could be improved, such as the restrooms and bar prices in high season, but overall, a truly positive experience.
14/08/2025: "Incredibly negative experience! I booked and paid months ago, but when I arrived at the establishment, I found everything closed. Unacceptable attitude and a total lack of organization. Not recommended to anyone!"

05/07/2025: I'm sorry to have to give a negative rating because I've been there other times and everything is excellent, but booking a Saturday night and then finding the place closed was very unpleasant. It would be a good idea to update the hours or at least close the booking tool.

Everything was delicious, served still hot for takeout 😋👍👍👍.
Just Eat order handled perfectly, right on time without any waiting 😃😉.

31/08/2025: We had already been to this restaurant with a positive experience but in the change of name and management something did not work, we had asked for a table in a sheltered position due to the presence of elderly people but unfortunately they did not give us a table as per our request, we asked for fried food and they arrived but they were terrible after a long wait we had to call the waiter for the orders, limited menu with little choice, an experience definitely not to be repeated

13/10/2025: Good morning, I celebrated my 30th birthday and chose Ilex, and I'm super happy. Bruno, the owner, was impeccable, patient, and very helpful in satisfying me with every detail. The room was beautiful and very spacious. Thank you for making my 30th birthday perfect, thanks again.

14/03/2026: We waited about two hours for a pizza, very little toppings, poor quality products, and hot drinks. The restaurant has two dining rooms, one under the stairs, where cell phone reception is poor and the decor is retro to say the least.

02/12/2025: I stayed here for the first time the first week of September and was quite satisfied. The apartment was quite well-equipped, with an LED TV, refrigerator, stovetop, mini-oven, and washing machine, but no air conditioning, although the rooms had ceiling fans. The train service to the beach was excellent, and it's close enough to walk there. The beach was clean and well-equipped, and the sea was gorgeous. My only complaint was that the property could use some maintenance, especially the paving of the paths and the parking decks. The entertainment was decent, but it could be a little more.
21/09/2025: Attempts to shout from the stage after 10 p.m. are proof of plain rudeness.

01/09/2025: A gem of a bar near the most beautiful beach in Puglia. Delicious Lecce coffee and a highly recommended hazelnut pasticciotto. Thanks Mattia for the tip! Extremely kind and honest with tourists, which unfortunately isn't always the case. A 110 with honors.

28/12/2025: Small place at the beginning of the street, very nice service, a little slow but on holiday that's to be expected.... we've been there several times during the holiday, we've tasted practically the whole menu, the Salento pitta as simple as it is good, eggplant parmigiana excellent orecchiette with turnip tops all accompanied by a good house rosé wine, very nice and friendly manager, reservations recommended

An hour of waiting to eat turnip greens, disgusting. Change the chef.

29/10/2025: Takeout pizzas, previously ordered, were ready more than an hour late. The dough wasn't kneaded properly, and my pizza was missing an ingredient.
29/08/2025: The food was excellent. The pasta with tomato sauce and polpette were simply delicious and fresh. We followed it with fried fish, which was absolutely divine. The service was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

21/01/2026: A truly welcoming little place, the staff are truly warm and attentive, and the fish is fantastic, fresh, and above all, top-quality.
The ravioli with shrimp and squid ink and the pacchero with monkfish are truly exceptional!! Compliments to Chef Miky and Tullio's service.

21/01/2026: Today we returned to eat here for the third time, and now we feel right at home.
Besides the fabulous dishes, I've never had such good fish. It deserves a thousand extra points just for the hospitality and service.
Truly excellent work, and heartfelt congratulations to Chef Miky and his collaborator Tullio.
A must-try for anyone visiting Gallipoli ❤️
