10/12/2025: The restaurant is located on a narrow street in the small historic center of the town that gave birth to the genius of Leonardo. The space is spacious, with two large dining rooms, but a bit spartan, although the exposed grill in the kitchen is truly unique. The menu offers few unique appetizers and first courses, but stands out for its second courses. The prosciutto appetizer, crostini with Tuscan sauce (served separately), and the accompanying focaccia are quite good. Among the first courses, among many dishes more suited to tourists and with little to do with Tuscan tradition, I would recommend the excellent pappardelle with wild boar. The restaurant's strong point is the grill, with the ever-present Florentine steak (which, however, is served on a spectacular hot grill that unfortunately continues to cook it...a tourist-friendly idea, but not for those who like it rare), the tagliata, the cockerel, and the rabbit. Off the grill, the wild boar stew is truly remarkable. For those craving dessert, you can finish with their tiramisu (truly delicious) or some excellent Prato biscuits with Vin Santo. I opted for the wild boar (on pappardelle and stewed)...Top. The wine list is not bad. The service is good. I recommend it to anyone who loves grilled meat or wild boar.

08/12/2025: Dishes prepared with quality food and cooked to perfection, nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, this isn't a flaw but a virtue: the steaks and all the grilled meats are served on a very hot griddle, so they continue to cook at the table. This gives the pleasure of tasting the meat perfectly, but your clothes become stinky. The price of tasting good, I repeat, perfectly. The price of the dinner is more than fair. Highly recommended.

08/11/2025: I went for a coffee, I would say it was quite good, I don't mind the table service but I do complain about the toilet facilities not being up to standard, I hit the corner of the towel mounted too low and cut my forehead without the owner caring if I needed anything.

05/11/2025: Excellent products, friendly, and prompt service! We ordered lunch boxes for a group and had a great time. Piero is truly kind and helpful, and his products are delicious. The pastries are mouth-watering! We'll definitely be using them again.

23/07/2025: Negative. (1 star, and it was a gift.) I absolutely do not recommend it unless you want to make a bad impression. I had ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday, and I had promised her a character-themed cake. I'm traveling, and we had planned a party down to the last detail. Moral of the story? I was supposed to pick up the cake as agreed with the bakery (ordered a month in advance). I got there and it was closed. No cake. What a disappointment.

31/03/2025: Welcoming and above all clean place, the waitress served us with great kindness and professionalism. The desserts were beautiful to look at and to eat with a great variety to choose from.

01/11/2025: Halloween Night A venue with entertainment and live music, average food, and a limited wine selection. The octopus and potato salad was average, the chopped beef was so-so, the Angus asado was nothing special, and the tiramisu was forgettable. Overall, unfortunately, the quality/price ratio was inadequate for the offerings in a beautiful setting. Beware of the €3 cloakroom fee per person, which isn't specified at the entrance!

01/11/2025: The place and the staff are very polite and cheerful with everyone. As for the atmosphere, I'm absolutely satisfied. 🌟 There are, however, a few things that didn't leave a good impression on me, especially considering it was my first time here: 1️⃣ They told us they would store our coats and jackets, but they didn't specify that we had to pay to collect them. This is a mistake, because all costs should be clearly disclosed to avoid unpleasant surprises. 2️⃣ I ordered octopus with potatoes, but they brought me another, more expensive dish, with small octopus in a sauce that wasn't bad at all, but it wasn't what I'd asked for, and it was also the most expensive of the similar dishes I'd mentioned to the waitress. Sure, some might say, "You could have brought the dish back." But I'm not so miserable as to bring a dish for just €6 or €7 more. Oh well! Anyway, it's not pleasant to ask for one thing and get something else. Luckily, the food was always good. I ate it all. 3️⃣ I recommend checking your receipts carefully 🧾, because they added a burger we never ordered and wanted to charge us for it.

06/07/2025: Rude is an understatement, when I asked if the bread was fresh (meaning if it was daily) they laughed at me making jokes among themselves. There is little to laugh about. Learn to work with the right respect for people (which you do not have).

16/09/2025: We went for dinner in mid-September. We had a fish starter and a grilled fish dish. The starters were good, and the main course was decent. Nothing special, but still good, fair enough. The location was nothing special. Prices were average, in my opinion, for what we ate.

13/11/2025: Terrible experience, we waited over two hours for four pizzas, not to mention the place is stuck in the 1970s, with broken chairs and post-war tables. In 40 years, I've never found a place this run-down...

29/07/2025: Pizzas and insalata di mare are very good, the service too, the noise is sometimes a little too much but there small covered terrace allows for more peace and quiet, the prices are good.

09/08/2025: Premesso che lo frequentiamo ogni estate. Per quanto riguarda la qualità del cibo non c’è nulla da dire… ottimo, anche se la tagliata era una bistecca di manzo c’è di meglio. La mia esperienza negativa va sul trattamento ricevuto prenotato con largo anticipo per le 20 con richiesta di un posto sul prato per godere della campagna e del tramonto. Arriviamo puntuali i primi , mi presento e ci indicano il tavolo uno sotto la veranda con copertura di coibentato, faccio presente il mio disappunto ma il personale mi dice che per Prato loro intendono anche quello. Sono rimasto solo perché non mi andava di cercare un altro posto per cenare. Purtroppo non ci ritorneremo mai più. Un consiglio curate di più le richieste dei clienti e 3 euro di coperto con i tovaglioli di carta eccessivo, variegate i primi tutti lo stesso tipo di pasta. Deluso

02/08/2025: Siamo stati in quest'agriturismo per cena e devo dire che è stata una bella sorpresa. Cibo genuino con ricette e piatti della tradizione pugliese. Antipasti molto buoni, abbiamo preso fave e cicoria, fritti salentini e le melanzane alla parmigiana. Primi orecchiette e incannulate fatte in casa con condimenti del territorio e secondi di carne (agnello e tagliata) cucinati molto bene. Piacevolmente sorpreso dal servizio effettuato da ragazzi molto giovani che con educazione e attenzione non fanno mancare nulla. Bravi ci torneremo.

05/09/2025: Hi, I've been going to MD in Leverano for years. I'm a regular. Every summer it's a disaster. You can't stay indoors on certain days because someone thinks it's a good idea to set the air conditioning to 20 degrees Celsius so you can work nice and cool, when it's at least 30 degrees out there... What the hell?!? Do you realize that?!? You should at least have a fit of courage... It's a complete disregard for your customers who let you work, some of whom suffer from various illnesses, etc. I swear it's FREEZING!!! It's disrespectful! In other supermarkets it's not like this, it's there but in a more delicate way.... So get a grip or many people will avoid coming, as in fact one day there was even a lady who was complaining to the cashier....and a lot.... Now it's been an hour since I got home and my nose is still stuffy, I'm sneezing and I've caught a cold in my back... I'm young.... Imagine older people..... It takes real courage to be so arrogant.... I'm horrified..... Oh, and until a few days ago I was speechless for more than 10 days... perhaps precisely because of you..... So my dears, try to be less selfish. Thank you.

24/11/2025: Our last night in Lecce, and we were looking for a casual place with good pizza. Urban Cafe was exactly what we were looking for. They were open early, the service was great (Jacobo was wonderful and helpful), and the food was just what we were wanting. We started with the potato croquettes, then shared the Upstairs salad and the Lea pizza. All were very good. We had spumone as dessert. Urban Cafe is a casual place with good food and service. Highly recommended. Enjoy!

14/11/2025: Not at all satisfied with the service and the confusion it created. We were the only ones seated and went to pay one at a time to avoid complications, but they still weren't able to do the math correctly. We won't be returning.

05/09/2025: I was thrilled with the friendliness and cleanliness of the place, as well as the truly divine food. All the staff were wonderful...a special mention to Francesca, the professional! I will definitely be returning to this fantastic place.

04/09/2025: A terrible professional experience. Toward the end of my meal, which I had eaten in the dining area in front of the restaurant, a gust of wind blew debris from the roof over the structure that housed the bar and kitchen onto my plate. Finding myself forced to dispose of what I would have preferred to eat in the trash, I turned to the young man, a curly-haired brown man with glasses, at the register, trying to report the incident to see if there was any way to resolve my situation and get compensation for my loss. The response was as mocking as the employee's smirk: he claimed he didn't know what to say to me. Given the boy's persistent inappropriate behavior, as he continued to mock me, and to prevent the unfortunate incident from escalating, I angrily left the restaurant, found the restaurant's contact information on Google, and spoke to the owner to explain what had happened. He, declaring himself willing to reimburse me for the cost of lunch, very bluntly tells me I should have asked for him right away. I, in turn, conclude by declining the offer but advising him to choose better who he hires. This country of ours is sadly full of untapped value and quality. Too often, business owners prefer to surround themselves with scarce but inexpensive staff rather than invest in the value that awaits the right opportunity. I do not recommend this place: those who don't invest in quality and professional attention don't deserve customers and don't deserve to stay in the market.
