04/09/2025: Great place for holiday shopping. Very wide range, helpful staff and you can get a Puccia + drink at the bar (which is more of a bistro) for €6, which is an irresistible offer.

02/09/2025: Roberto's comment is completely out of place.... Are you normal? Exorbitant prices??!?! Where? You're at the seaside in Salento. The prices are much lower than any market in Bologna. If you come from Egypt and the prices seem high, that's your problem..... A tenner consumed at the bar is charged as if it were bought in the store. The store is stocked with everything you need. If this bar/market was missing, I would give Torre San Giovanni 3 stars. Great. Fresh vegetables, fruit, cold cuts, sandwiches, beers and spirits of all kinds. What more do you want at the seaside???? But look at the price of a beach umbrella sold by them....10 euros. The service is highly considered!!!!!! You feel at home!!!!!!

15/11/2025: I arrived full of anticipation, and in my mind, I was already anticipating a divine experience: sublime dishes, captivating aromas, the kind of cuisine that makes you close your eyes for a second just to savor the perfection. I could still imagine the first bite, so good it shook all my expectations, and the impeccable service that would complete the experience. Too bad… it was all a DREAM! Because in reality, the restaurant was closed, without any notice, without a message, without any communication whatsoever. A total disappointment, especially after such a long wait. A real shame: I only ate divinely in my imagination.

25/10/2025: We had dinner with friends, booking through The Fork app, which gave us a great discount. The food was reasonably priced, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. On a negative note: Saturday night at 9:15 PM, they started turning off the TV and music and closing the doors while we were still chatting and sipping our ordered bottle of wine! As we headed to the register, we heard burps coming from the other room... a shame, we could have ended the evening differently! The waiter and staff were very courteous and helpful!

03/09/2025: I honestly don't understand the cold or negative reviews for this restaurant. Splendid location near the Castle in a historic and truly characteristic square. All the dishes were more than good. Portions were not excessive but honest. We really enjoyed it. THANK YOU. P.S.: with The Fork discount, it's a crime not to go!

29/08/2025: We ordered pasta with mussels and cherry tomatoes...the pasta wasn't fresh, the dish was completely unprepared, and the mussels were tiny!! We also ordered an octopus salad...tasteless! Lastly, a three-year-old girl was even charged for the service charge without having consumed anything! The location is beautiful. The waiter was very kind and polite, but the young woman, who barely spoke Italian, wasn't so much as asking for feedback when she picked up her plate. It seems like a commercial place that tries to repurpose traditional dishes without the necessary love and tradition. The prices are high. The menu doesn't list frozen ingredients...you have to ask to find out what's fresh and what's not.

27/10/2025: This was our most expensive meal in 18 days in Italy, and we didn’t have wine. 117 euros for two people. It was tasty but not THAT great. Dish of shellfish was 22 euros. Eggplant parm, fish of day., side salad. We don’t know cost of all items (water, bread, one desert, coffee) because itemized bill was never provided, woman rang up at cash. We should have asked for bill. Maybe more expensive because location at beach. Wish we had waited till Otranto for lunch.

24/10/2025: Beautiful spot on the beach. Pricey but good food and drinks. Friendly service. Beach loungers available for rent. Indoor and outdoor dining.

12/04/2026: If you order a pizza for delivery, you can throw it away cold as a popsicle when it arrives. More than an hour and a half of waiting for simple pizzas has happened before. If it were just the double and undercooked ones, I would never recommend it again.

01/03/2026: The four of us went to Lu Bambu in Collepasso for pizza and were absolutely thrilled! The pizza was a real sensation – simply perfect from the first bite to the last. The dough, the toppings, everything was perfectly balanced and incredibly delicious. The pizzas are generously topped, and the prices are fantastic. However, you should allow some time, as the wait for the pizzas can be quite long. Our tip: Order an appetizer beforehand – it's definitely worth it. Overall, a clear recommendation; we'll definitely be back!

27/08/2025: We're in Maglie on vacation and were looking for a pub. We ordered a mixed platter to start, a meat platter, and a hamburger bun. Everything was good enough, but for our personal taste, both the fried foods and the fries were overcooked and dry. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were kind and helpful. The waiter was top notch.

27/08/2025: Very good burgers with local meats. Excellent beer selection. Nice place with seating along the quaint alley.

03/10/2025: A service station where you can use the Enjoy rental service. Although it wasn't their responsibility, the staff on site were very helpful right from the start in helping me resolve a problem I encountered during the rental. Special mention goes to Mr. Antonio, the gas station attendant who was present when the problem arose.

27/01/2026: taking a dessert, they "wrong" in marking the order and it arrived with other additions, charged €2.20 more, what can I say, for a pancake and a waffle €16, we will move to the bar next door😂

06/04/2026: We had booked a weekend with friends; the photos on Booking.com are beautiful, but I think they're from the past. After a night, we ran away. As soon as we arrived, no one greeted us. We first had to shout if anyone was there, then knock on a door they told us to come in, which was the kitchen. Then, she pointed us to a hidden door where we found the owner. The owner wasn't very friendly. We asked questions about the farmhouse, and she answered them while she continued walking to another part of the farmhouse without stopping. Rooms: Dated furnishings, headboard that moved every time we changed positions in bed. Air conditioning that didn't heat. We were freezing. I slept in sweatpants, tights, and a sweater. We couldn't shower because there was little water (you couldn't turn on the bidet and sink at the same time) and it didn't get hot right away. The toilet moved because it was unplugged. In the bathroom, there was a heater that didn't heat up. The minibar fridge couldn't be plugged in. Obviously, no bottled water. The TV didn't work, and the electrical outlet it was plugged into made sparks. Ants on the balcony doorstep. Minimal cleanliness. Breakfast was poor and unvaried. Opened bottled fruit juice on the table, nothing for those with lactose intolerance. A shame, because the farmhouse, if it were well-maintained, would be beautiful. I don't recommend it.

05/04/2026: The atmosphere is comfortable, but the location isn't the best, being a bit isolated from the town. The service was incredibly slow; even though the waiter offered me a different meat dish upon arrival because I wasn't eating the one on the menu, I had to wait almost 20 minutes after all the dishes had arrived at the other tables. Dessert was almost here, and I still hadn't received my main course... a simple cutlet. Never again.

07/04/2026: Perfect for spending evenings with friends, eating well and listening to good music. The pizza isn't very good anymore.

16/09/2025: The pucce was delicious and very filling! The milanesa was more like a chicken medallion, but it was tasty. The prices are very reasonable.

03/04/2026: Wood oven Pizza! Friendly and helpful staff ❤️Totally delicious an excellent value! We had the Staglioni 4 sauce,artichokes, mushroom, delicious cheese, and meat. Fluffy, crunchy flavorful Pizza. 🙏🏼 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

15/02/2026: Ordered at 8:12 PM, pizzas delivered at 10:25 PM (the delivery wait was stated to be an hour). We didn't send them back only because we would have been starving. The pizza was good, but eaten cold, it tasted like ginger gum. The delivery driver lost the receipt, so we paid €50 just for the sake of it. This kind of service isn't allowed for a pizzeria that was originally designed as a takeout pizzeria and should be ready to handle the workload of a delivery pizzeria. Definitely crossed out.
