Le Currenti In Castro

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and my experience was completely positive. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious dishes. The staff was extremely attentive and made sure each visit was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was exceptional. A place I can recommend without reservation!

Small restaurant / fast food on the port of Castro Marina, with the possibility of eating pizza, pucce and salads. We took a puccia with raw ham and mozzarella and a puccia with octopus, tomato and burrata which was the specialty of the day and was really good and the octopus was very tender. We also tried the fried bread dough balls with olives, tomatoes and capers (the name escapes me now) and they were very good. I would definitely recommend it for a quick meal with a sea view.

What we got to eat was brilliant. Absolutely fresh grilled octopus with fried potatoes and olive oil. Simple - but deliciously and perfectly prepared. Neither flavor dominated the other.

During 10 days we ate at Le Currenti three times, the pizza is incredibly delicious. As a starter we each had a tagliere with fresh cold cuts and cheese, as well as pittule (local specialty), which we also really enjoyed; you could clearly see the quality of the products used. Highly recommended if you want to eat a good pizza in Castro!

Wir waren in Castro für 10 Tage und haben in vielen verschiedenen Restaurants gegessen, sind aber immer wieder zu Le Currenti zurückgekehrt. Wir waren insgesamt 3 Mal hier, die Pizza war jedes Mal der absolute Hammer. Service ist top, sehr sympathisch und aufmerksam, man kann alles nicht Gegessene nach Hause nehmen. Ich empfehle jede Pizza und als Vorspeise Pittule und Tagliere di carne. Wenn man authentisch salentisch essen will für ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, ist dieses Restaurant nur zu empfehlen!

The best pizza thin crust I've eaten in a long time!! . We also had fresh salad with ham. Nice place near the marina. Family style. Great service!

Ci accomodiamo in questo locale, con occhi sul panorama di Castro Marina, bellissima. Cena per 3 persone, veniamo accolti con gentilezza, personale super cordiale. Ordiniamo 3 pizze e da bere. Pizza dall''impasto morbido e digeribile, ingredienti di qualità, molto molto buona. Lascio la foto. Conto accessibile e onesto nonostante l'alta stagione qui a Castro. Nel menu anche la carne, avrei voluto ordinarla, sembrava molto buona. Serata top!
