I highly recommend this restaurant. The value for money is perfect and a note of merit goes to the freshness of the products. We ate exceptional fried food, as well as a very delicate pasta with clams. I also recommend the rest and I also make a mention to the manager, always attentive and present, but never intrusive.

Una scoperta positiva della città di Maglie che poco conoscevamo ma.... fermatevi nella Locanda dei Semplici... perché? Perché Fabrizio vi accompagna in una semplicità dei gusti e dei sapori veri salentini dalla frittura alle fave nette e cicorie, al polpo con arancio e ceci ed insalata...al dolce e tutto accompagnato da buon vino...Una serata che rimarrà nei nostri ricordi che conserveranno i sapori....

Very nice and intimate location, I ordered a red tuna tartare which was simply delicious, simple! With just a drop of selected oil. First course with chopped prawn and artichokes, I would have preferred a little more flavor but de gustibus! And finally we were offered some mussels au gratin with the chef's recipe to try!
The only advice is perhaps a little more care in the presentation of the dishes and starters because even the eye wants its part especially in an elite restaurant (no more "arugula beds"😂 they are a bit vintage) for the rest, recommended ! Friendly and competent owner and waiters

Really very welcoming place. The staff is professional and pleasant. Very good food, highly recommended by the chef. Really a nice discovery near the center of Maglie.

Vi tog dagens forslag fra kokken. Lækre fritterede blæksprutter og rejer til forret. Vi delte en portion. Hovedret pasta med blåmuslinger. Dessert der delte vi en frugtskål ned melon og ananas. Alt var lækkert. God service.
Vi fik hver 2 glas dejlig hvidvin og sluttede af med 2 koppper Expresso.

We loved our experience at this restaurant. We were so pleased by our server, Norbert, who had expertise of the local foods and traditions and took the time to explain our wine selection and helped us select the perfect one for dinner. He was so kind and generous with his time and when he brought our fish, he cleaned it beautifully and plated it with panache. We loved our dinner here, delicious and romantic. And don’t forget to say hi to brownie the mascot! She’s the sweetest dog who will for sure come say hello before your meal. Definitely get the tartar and local raw fish to start!
