17/10/2025: While strolling through the beautiful village, we spotted this osteria and were immediately intrigued by its delicious menu, which was also well explained by the young owner outside, so we returned for dinner. The welcome was warm, the homemade dishes from the Salento tradition were tastefully and harmoniously served. I found many traditionally plant-based dishes, being vegan. They were very kind in offering recommendations, and the wine was also excellent, a Negramaro rosé. Even though it was also the opening of their pizzeria, they looked after us impeccably! The excellent chef even came out and offered us a freshly baked pizza! The price was reasonable for the food, they were truly excellent. Congratulations! I've stopped in several times for breakfast. The coffee and cappuccino are very good. The pasticciotto is unbeatable. I've tried the classic, Nutella, and pistachio versions, all delicious. Highly recommended.

14/07/2025: Non avevamo prenotato, abbiamo dato il cognome e dopo pochissimo tempo abbiamo avuto il tavolo, nonostante fosse sabato. Servizio veloce ed efficiente , ricambio continuo di gente . Tutto molto buono, abbiamo preso una capricciosa bianca, polpo in pignata e spaghetti con le cozze e le bevande . Da ritornare sicuramente.

14/09/2025: A quiet place to eat well without pretensions. We'd say it's medium-low, but the small garden elevates the location a bit. The mixed fried food and antipasti are delicious, and we continued with pucce and pizzas. They have a little bit of everything and cater to everyone, so you're sure to find something here. Recommended for quiet evenings after the beach or before a stroll around Torre Lapillo.

22/11/2025: I bought the focaccia and the puccie which were heavy to digest and with a lot of yeast in fact they felt doughy, the service was terrible and without any kindness towards the customer.

14/09/2025: I've eaten at this pizzeria several times and I can say that the quality of the pizza used to be better. Yesterday, it was terrible; it hadn't risen, and the mozzarella, which was supposed to be buffalo mozzarella, was actually just plain fiordilatte. Instead of accepting criticism and offering a mea culpa, they even have the nerve to make stupid jokes. Not to mention the receipt never arrived. Mistakes can happen to anyone, especially on busy days, but if you've been in this business for decades, you should know how to treat people, and that's why it's not worth returning. Your colleagues in Veglie aren't this rude; in fact, they handle mistakes much better. I'll gladly follow the pizza chef's advice: "Then go eat at your restaurant or somewhere else."
