14/08/2024: Super friendly and professional staff Stunning breakfasts with super stuffed brioche pasticciotti taralli with almond paste. Leccese coffee is excellent and I recommend adding a little bitterness to it. I had a really good time with them and they pampered us super.

01/07/2024: Eaten outdoors on the evening of our arrival in Puglia. Place that makes local dishes, pizzas and Sardinian dishes. All very good, friendly and helpful staff. Undoubtedly positive experience. A few meters away, a very useful (at least for us) charging station for electric vehicles.

30/09/2024: Very nice restaurant, sea view, two characteristic rooms, open-air side by the sea with the sand and the sound of the sea almost under your feet and indoors with elegance and right spaces. Courteous and attentive staff to any request, kind and ready to fulfill your requests (there are always the owners in the room too). It's my second time going and it has never disappointed my cravings with great food. Wide choice on the menu with top quality and above all fresh ingredients. You can eat mainly fish-based dishes but for those who are allergic like me, they can also enjoy tasty land dishes. Abundant with quantity. Clear bathrooms and possibilities for disabled people too. The only flaw is that on the side of the covered room there is no access for wheelchair users. Anyway they will do it as soon as possible. Recommended restaurant for all those who don't want to be fooled by tourist menus without flavors and more.....THE NEW PONTICELLO IS A REAL RESTAURANT.

15/09/2024: We ordered some pizzas....having returned from a trip, none of us had yet the desire to prepare dinner, we looked around and this was the best one...excellent pizza, digestible dough, nice crunchy as I like it.... It's usually soft with top quality ingredients....fair price. I recommend it

30/11/2024: I booked a table at 9pm, once I showed up it seemed they had lost the reservation, even though they remembered the phone call. They made us wait half an hour without any response, they never responded clearly to several reminders. After an hour we were forced to leave because, after asking in exasperation if there was more or less than half an hour left, we were told that we could have waited even longer. In all of this, no one apologized for the mistake they made.

30/11/2024: Ho prenotato un tavolo alle 21, una volta presentato pareva avessero perso la prenotazione, nonostante ricordassero la telefonata. Ci hanno fatto attendere mezz’ora senza alcun riscontro, a diversi solleciti non hanno mai risposto in maniera chiara. Dopo un’ora siamo stati costretti ad andarcene perché, dopo aver chiesto esasperati se mancasse più o meno di mezz’ora ci è stato risposto che avremmo potuto aspettare anche di più. In tutto questo non si è scusato nessuno per l’errore commesso.

18/09/2024: Locale bello ma l'ingresso un po disordinato il Cameriere forse era stanco ci ha snobbato facendoci sedere vicino il bagno avendo chiesto di spostarci ci ha detto che erano occupati ma non lo erano anche perché siano stati li a guardare il menu povero ma ottimo su questo sono favorevole nel complesso il prezzo nella norma

25/08/2024: So let's start by saying that in 2023 this place was much better, we waited 2 hours for 4 pizzas (not even very good), 2 people serving in total, and, 15 people spread across 5 tables, plus music (not even very good) at all volume and plastic glasses, let's realize after 3/4 of an hour there's time for water let's realize, oh well anyway we arrived at 9 and returned at around 11.30 IF THEY CONTINUE, I KNOW THEY WILL CLOSE, SO CHANGE!!!

26/12/2024: Neanche mia nonna ascolta più quella musica. Un locale peggiore non poteva esistere, molto cringe, si emozionano se qualche giovane conosce canzoni sentite e risentite come se fosse strano, io, parte di quel tavolo di giovani posso confermare che nel 2024 nessuno vorrebbe ascoltare quella musica, noi inclusi.

19/11/2024: Sono ritornato sabato in questo locale con degli amici ,personale gentile,pizza buona,l'unica nota negativa è che la cena spettacolo del sabato sera non era coinvolgente come quella dell anno scorso.

01/04/2024: Sono stato con la mia ragazza il giorno di Pasqua abbiamo ordinato due linguine alle vongole e un fritto misto, tutto molto buono e dal sapore delicato. Anche il servizio non pecca siamo stati accolti da una signora molto educata e professionale.

01/04/2024: Posto perfetto. Super consigliato. Ho scelto la degustazione dello chef fatto da 7 assaggi di antipasti di mare. OTTIMO! Ma quando ho assaggiato la frittura di mare e il filetto di scorfano ho sentito davvero la freschezza della materia prima. FAVOLOSA! Tutto circondato da un ottimo servizio iniziato dal cameriere Francesco e terminato dai proprietari che mi hanno fatto sentire davvero a casa, la mia Puglia è quindi il mio Salento! Ogni volta che ritornerò qui sarà sicuramente una tappa fissa. GRAZIE MARINERO

15/08/2024: Experience not to be repeated. We had a reservation at the restaurant, trattoria la locanda in the centre, until a waitress told us that we had to sit in the room opposite because there was no air conditioning in that one. The starter was good, to follow we ordered a slice of Agnus, which in theory should have been their strong point, it was so cooked as to be inedible, it looked like rubber, in fact it was almost completely left on the plate, as after having tasted it we were nauseated. Having alerted the dining room staff to the condition of the meat, at the time of the bill only 4 euros of the 24 euros in the price of the meat were deducted, as it had been "tasted". To make sure we didn't miss anything, we also had to witness a fight between two waitresses who almost pulled each other's hair. Last but not least we were sick with our stomachs all night.

29/12/2024: There is absolutely nothing I could recommend about this campsite! We arrived at midday and were surprised to hear that our bungalow was already ready! We were able to drive in (only briefly to unload) when we arrived we saw that our bungalow hadn't been processed yet. Then the cleaning crew came towards us and told us to wait 20 minutes then we could go in. I immediately told them to please take their time as I expect a very clean room please! So we left and came back after 2 hours. When we arrived we looked into the bungalow. Absolutely nothing was done there! Only the beds were stripped and bed linen was given to us (also dirty, we could have gotten fresh ones for a fee)! It was still dirty everywhere and there were even leftover food in the cupboards and refrigerator. I walked to reception as there were no cars around The check in time is allowed and let us know. We were then sent what they called a better quality cleaning crew by the so-called and probably self-proclaimed “Dottoressa”. We asked them to be thorough.. we had to leave as we had tickets to the stadium! We returned at 11pm and what we found was so bad that I started crying in despair! There was no one there and we had to put our 5 year old into bed, which we had to move into ourselves because that wasn't included in the service! I took photos of everything and sent everything to the front desk. On The next day we waited for someone to get in touch - in vain! I went forward again and the very unfriendly and annoyed employee called the Dittoressa in question again! She was probably already annoyed with us and, despite the pictures, wanted to reassure herself that I wasn't lying. She came into the bungalow and looked around, but didn't find anything dirty in her eyes and then accused us of... We shouldn't have left yesterday but we should have waited until the cleaning crew was finished. I had to prove to her that I hadn't caused the pollution myself! Finally, after heated discussions, she sent me the most skilled cleaner at this campsite! She arrived and it was clear that she was not allowed to express an opinion in front of the Dottoressa! But I should now stay with it the entire time so that everything is carried out according to my wishes! So the second day of vacation was also a waste! In the meantime my husband went to the pool with my daughter.. arrived after 10 Minutes back completely out of it and said that no one was allowed into the water without a bathing cap and that to lie down there you had to pay a fee of €8 per person per day! So um To make the little one happy, we bought bathing caps and were allowed to sit on the dried grass for free Edge of the swimming pool… ok. As the lady in When the bungalow was ready, she confided to me that she had never seen such circumstances in a bungalow and that she was incredibly sorry for the way the Dittoressa had treated me! She had absolutely no right to do that because it was very dirty. When the Dottoressa came, the lady didn't say anything because otherwise she would have to worry about her job! There was no apology and no refund for the lost 2 days. In addition, the facility and the entertainment are an absolute joke for a 4 star facility (they probably gave it to themselves). The restaurant is bad and expensive. There is a washing machine on the entire campsite. Long-closed, smashed washrooms that are still listed as open on the map... actually just catastrophic. What's more, I'm originally from Lecce myself and I'm ashamed I am deeply impressed by what we offer our paying tourists! Disgusting behavior and a disgusting system...we should sue.

01/10/2024: Definitely not a resort and not a 4 star campsite!! Despite everything we had a good time, but having stayed there in September we found a drastic drop in services and poor staff, sometimes unprepared and other times downright irritating. Pros: -Large spaces, large pitches and privacy. -pedestrian since, theoretically, it is not possible to access it by car. So there was no coming and going of cars, which is convenient for those of us with young children. -free and pet friendly beach, narrow, but long and still natural with no beaches every 2 m. Beautiful for walking - last, but not least, the ANIMATION!! The Year Zero entertainment guys were really capable, welcoming, energetic and really nice! Well done Against: - two collective toilets out of five were open throughout the campsite, which is fine, as there is a drop in attendance, but the bathrooms were very dirty!!!! Hair stuck to the shower walls, sand in the sinks, dirt on the floor 24 hours a day. And with very few customers in the whole campsite it is unacceptable!! The cleaners were always present from morning to evening, when you passed there you always found them sitting and talking on the phone:... yet there was plenty of work... Shameful. 4 stars??!?!?!? - The sunbeds at the pool had to be paid for, the result was that the sunbeds remained empty and people camped on the grass... 4 stars?? We had booked a gazebo by the pool for both weeks, but every now and then for convenience we leaned with towels on a sunbed near the small pool. The lifeguards punctually approached to collect the payment, even though we already had a gazebo. Lifeguards are also not very present (except to collect the €5 for the sunbed), always on their cell phones, grumpy and rude even towards children!!!! - the season ended on September 15th and the animation ended on September 7th... why??? Didn't I pay like the others to have a complete service? - very stocked mini market and high prices, in the nearest town of Torre Rinalda there is only a poorly stocked grocery store Basically, given the low season and the scarcity of customers, the staff was reduced to a minimum and listless, this made the quality of the service and our holiday much worse.
