07/03/2026: Overall, it was bad. The waiters don't understand a word of Italian. The guy inside refused to let me heat up milk for my son even though we were at a table that spent around 400 euros.

26/02/2026: We probably didn't understand each other a bit, the woman wanted sparkling wine and got still wine. Interesting combination with Prague ham, but the lady probably didn't understand us. The young waiter was then fully receptive and helpful, we didn't want to discuss it any further. There may have been a mistake with the food, beef vs meatloaf.

02/11/2025: If you go to Lecce, you absolutely must go to Mamma Rita's! You'll enjoy excellent dishes, and the pizza is a must! The best! Friendliness, professionalism, cleanliness—it has it all. I recommend making a reservation because there are so many people who want to eat there from opening to closing!

26/12/2025: Nice place, very traditional, and the food is good. We went there for Christmas lunch. The food was excellent, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

17/12/2025: Deliberately left rustic and rustic, it's actually a quality restaurant. We were immediately offered toasted bread with delicious local olive oil, and the home-cooked dishes were equally delicious. Recommended.

06/12/2025: If you're looking for a clean place where you can enjoy something truly EXCELLENT, FRESH, from sweet to savory... well, you absolutely have to go to the bar outside the city! The staff are truly kind and welcoming... as soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a cheerful "GOOD MORNING" that's truly a pleasure. Everything you try is truly delicious, not to mention the various pastries. The place is SUPER CLEAN, you could even eat off the floor! Trust me, you won't regret it.

02/05/2026: Superb coffee and croissants...if you stop by during lunchtime, you can choose between their homemade dishes or excellent sandwiches, always made to order. In the evening, they serve excellent aperitifs with platters and canapés galore. The atmosphere is friendly, and the owners are always available.

We also tried the excellent fried pizza with delicious and delicious fillings and the brand new patatruk! Very fair prices and definitely lower than the average restaurant! We'll definitely be back! 19/10/2025: A wonderful location surrounded by greenery, just a stone's throw from Gallipoli, a rustic establishment offering simple yet refined dishes. The quality of the food is excellent, from the appetizers to the first and second courses. The antipasto was rich and delicious, and the first courses were excellent. We opted for the meat course, which was delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were very satisfied.

13/09/2025: We were thrilled with the cuisine, service, and location at Calamate. We stayed in Gallipoli for 12 days, and we ate there four times. It was undoubtedly the best dinners of the entire trip. The appetizer selection—the burratina, the homemade orecchiette, and the bombette (which we tried breaded and baked here)—were all exceptional, as were the grilled red tuna and the pasta with scampi. The ingredients are excellent, and the price, in my opinion, perfectly in line with what's on offer. If you're in Gallipoli, it's worth a visit!

25/04/2026: We ate well. Very friendly staff and excellent service. The orecchiette with mussels and tagliolini with grouper were very good.

11/04/2026: A very pleasant restaurant, with excellent advice from the waitress! Beautiful presentation of fresh fish before we chose our menu! Excellent local cuisine! And a superb terrace with a view of the Adriatic!
