22/11/2025: I visited the Verlaine Pub in Veglie, a very refined atmosphere with attention to detail. Upon entry, I was greeted by Mr. Marco, who very politely and professionally escorted us to our table, making us feel at home.

21/09/2025: We visited this pizzeria at the invitation of two friends, traveling over 120 km there and back, expecting a wonderful evening of karaoke and delicious pizza. Instead, we found ourselves with an experience we'd soon forget. As soon as we entered, we were overwhelmed by a deafening noise: the music was so loud we couldn't even exchange a few words with the person next to us—an uncontrolled, annoying, and poorly managed chaos that made any kind of conversation or relaxation impossible. When we ordered, half the pizzas on the menu were unavailable due to a lack of ingredients. No one had notified us, and we found ourselves having to change our orders on the spot. The pizzas then arrived incorrect, incomplete, or completely different from what we'd asked for, as if they'd been made randomly. And to make matters worse, when it came time to pay, the POS didn't work. No one had informed us upon arrival, and we found ourselves in a bind because no one at our table had cash. An unacceptable inconvenience, especially in 2025. A disaster from start to finish. The place was chaotic, the service disorganized, and there was a complete lack of respect for the customers. Not only will we not return, but we're also sorry we drove all that way for such a disappointing evening.

26/08/2025: While strolling through the town streets before dinner, we stumbled upon this truly charming and unique bar. The many positive reviews of their drinks piqued our curiosity, and we can confirm: they're truly worth it! 🍸 Michele, who looked after us, was kind and attentive, as well as very skilled at making cocktails. He also recommended some local gins, making the experience even more enjoyable. A truly memorable place, definitely worth a visit.

24/08/2025: Rude waiters and owner. There are much friendlier places all around that serve happy hour aperitif with food included in their drink price. View is not great.

17/11/2025: 50 euros for a plate of pasta with mediocre sardines and a tasteless octopus leg; a small glass of wine was 6 euros. They served us late for lunch, but that's no excuse for such mediocre food and rushing us to leave. Not recommended at all.

06/10/2025: Good cuisine with seafood. The wine and desserts were good choices.

21/09/2025: Small café and pastry shop. There are tables outside where you can have breakfast in peace. The staff at the counter are friendly and professional. I've stopped in several times for breakfast. The coffee and cappuccino are very good. The pasticciotto is unbeatable. I've tried the classic, Nutella, and pistachio versions, all delicious. Highly recommended.

14/07/2025: Non avevamo prenotato, abbiamo dato il cognome e dopo pochissimo tempo abbiamo avuto il tavolo, nonostante fosse sabato. Servizio veloce ed efficiente , ricambio continuo di gente . Tutto molto buono, abbiamo preso una capricciosa bianca, polpo in pignata e spaghetti con le cozze e le bevande . Da ritornare sicuramente.

07/09/2025: You can't say piadina from Salento, piadina is from Romagna, and how about pasticciotto Romagna or puccia Romagna. Everyone has their own traditions. How would a Lecce native feel if they heard pasticciotto Ragnolo?

23/11/2025: Terrible. We arrived amidst chaos, but it's okay because it's Saturday. We order drinks and food. We wait for the pizzas, and no drinks arrive; I ask for them three times. The pizzas arrive, and I ask for drinks the fourth time. Halfway through the pizza, I ask for drinks for the fifth time. I finish the pizza and still nothing. In the end, I leave without a drink. Absurd.

15/10/2025: the hamburger meat had an unbearably bad smell.

12/10/2025: My hamburger was spoiled and smelled bad. I sent my plate back to the kitchen. The boss, with whom I argued, made me pay for my meal... I'll never go to that restaurant again.

17/10/2025: While strolling through the beautiful village, we spotted this osteria and were immediately intrigued by its delicious menu, which was also well explained by the young owner outside, so we returned for dinner. The welcome was warm, the homemade dishes from the Salento tradition were tastefully and harmoniously served. I found many traditionally plant-based dishes, being vegan. They were very kind in offering recommendations, and the wine was also excellent, a Negramaro rosé. Even though it was also the opening of their pizzeria, they looked after us impeccably! The excellent chef even came out and offered us a freshly baked pizza! The price was reasonable for the food, they were truly excellent. Congratulations! 14/08/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant, drawn by the positive reviews. We ordered peppered mussels, maritati scattirisciati, and, after confirming the freshness of the fish, orecchiette with turnip tops and shrimp. The mussels arrived already opened—which immediately raised our suspicions. And in fact, they had no flavor and a mushy consistency; they were not fresh mussels. So much so that we left them, and the same waitress confirmed that, if someone in the kitchen tasted them, they were "unworthy" and would not be included on the bill. The first courses arrived: the maritati scattirisciati were completely runny, while the orecchiette contained no shrimp at all: just three small shrimp, which I'd dare say were frozen given their lack of flavor. The bill: these delicacies, two glasses of rosé wine, and a bottle of water for a whopping €50. The first courses were €30 for two, but we didn't have a receipt, so I don't know how the remaining €20 was split. To top off the evening, the POS terminal WASN'T WORKING, and we had to withdraw cash to pay for this dinner, risking hospitalization. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

23/07/2025: Thanks to Chef Gianluca, we had the opportunity to appreciate the local flavors and his warm and professional customer service. Everything was excellent. We'll be back.
