07/06/2026: Let's start with the beautiful location, the sea view room. The staff was very courteous, kind, and professional. We ordered a bit of everything. Every dish was excellent. To finish off lunch or dinner, I recommend the almond and fig spumone. Kudos to the very courteous staff. I recommend it 100%, rating 1000++++++++

03/09/2025: Delicious pizza: light, tasty, and well-topped. The pizza chef who bakes the pizzas in his traditional Ape car is incredibly friendly! We also tried the excellent fried pizza with delicious and delicious fillings and the brand new patatruk! Very fair prices and definitely lower than the average restaurant! We'll definitely be back! 19/10/2025: A wonderful location surrounded by greenery, just a stone's throw from Gallipoli, a rustic establishment offering simple yet refined dishes. The quality of the food is excellent, from the appetizers to the first and second courses. The antipasto was rich and delicious, and the first courses were excellent. We opted for the meat course, which was delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were very satisfied.

13/09/2025: We were thrilled with the cuisine, service, and location at Calamate. We stayed in Gallipoli for 12 days, and we ate there four times. It was undoubtedly the best dinners of the entire trip. The appetizer selection—the burratina, the homemade orecchiette, and the bombette (which we tried breaded and baked here)—were all exceptional, as were the grilled red tuna and the pasta with scampi. The ingredients are excellent, and the price, in my opinion, perfectly in line with what's on offer. If you're in Gallipoli, it's worth a visit!

03/10/2025: I've been frequenting Salento for years, and the Cutty Sark kiosk is a must-see...on clear days, you can see the mountains beyond a heavenly sea, the view of Castro is priceless, you turn your gaze and see an old ruined tower...the pungent aromas inebriate the mind, and you're immersed in epic tales. The owner is always available and smiling, ready to pick up all the rubbish that too many rude tourists leave abandoned or insistently push into already overflowing bins...and I'm sad to read certain reviews where someone is wishing someone would fail for a few pennies!!! Dear Lord...the worst robbery is the time wasted writing it...the peace and beauty of that place are worthless.

03/09/2025: Returning to the kiosk is always a pleasure, a swim in the turquoise sea and ending with an excellent breakfast prepared by the friendly Virgilio is for us the best way to start the day!

01/06/2026: A very nice campsite, located in the middle of nowhere, with clean sanitary facilities in the off-season, spacious pitches, a large pool and separate children's pool, sun loungers (for a fee), direct access to a sandy beach, a beach bar with lunch service, a playground, a dog run, and a restaurant with a separate area for dog owners (unfortunately, it doesn't open until 7:30 pm). Prices are reasonable. Overall, a nice site. Drawbacks include the extra charge for sun loungers at the pool and beach, guests' dogs on the beach (even on and between the loungers), and loud music with bass thumping from the neighboring campsite (Club Futura) starting around 9 pm.

01/06/2026: It could have been beautiful, but it was loud, dirty, with the smell of fire from surrounding fires, nobody was putting them out, and nobody cared!

02/11/2025: If you go to Lecce, you absolutely must go to Mamma Rita's! You'll enjoy excellent dishes, and the pizza is a must! The best! Friendliness, professionalism, cleanliness—it has it all. I recommend making a reservation because there are so many people wanting to eat there from opening to closing!

21/08/2025: Holiday, breakfast in what seems like a normal bar in Maglie... instead it turns out to be the most beautiful morning of all the holidays, welcoming, attentive and above all smiling they welcome you... not (it would be obvious at 8.30 in the morning) blown Lecce coffee guys (in the whole holiday only once had they bothered to make it in another bar)... pastries... cake... pasta and the smell of bread, they are baking as if they were a bakery... what can I say, the day couldn't have started better... thanks guys, your passion is seen and felt. If you are in the area, stop by, it's not just any bar 💋❤️

29/10/2025: I was at this place at the end of July. There's a bartender named Cristian, who makes a cocktail he created (the Cristian cocktail) that's one of the best gin and tonics I've ever had. I highly recommend trying it.

30/08/2025: Stunning location, a charming terrace with stunning lighting. Top service, as the waiters were very helpful, friendly, and quick. The food was decent—we had delicious octopus meatballs, but the pizza was a bit salty. A bit bland. Overall, I'd give it a 6/10.

02/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance and felt pampered, just like when you stop for lunch at your aunt's house. The cuisine is simple but inspired by flashes of flavor. The atmosphere is truly friendly, and as people leave their tables, they greet other diners, who are of all ages and both two- and four-legged.

31/05/2026: The homey atmosphere makes you feel right at home in the heart of Tuscany (as a woman born in Umbria, I can only appreciate that!!). Chiara welcomed us: an incredible smile, lively black eyes, and incredibly fast. We decided to start with a delicious appetizer of Margherita pizza, focaccia, "special livers," and local prosciutto. The livers were mixed with a little minced beef, truly tasty and a refreshing alternative. Next up were grilled pigeon and rabbit. The pigeon was incredible, but I think the rabbit (which I love to cook) would have been better jugged or pan-fried, as it would have been less dry. Honestly, it's a place I'd happily return to. The menu also included the legendary Florentine steak (photo of which I stole from the diners near us) and pasta with wild boar ragù! If you're visiting Vinci, make sure to book this restaurant well in advance.
