01/05/2026: If you're looking for the luxury of appearances, look elsewhere; if you're looking for the luxury of substance, authenticity, and a family feel, then you're in the right place. We had lunch at Zia Nene's with my wife and our 5-year-old daughter and were blown away.
The Cuisine Is Authentic and Endless
Forget processed products or frozen food. Here, everything is cooked to order, and you can taste it. The philosophy is clear: uncompromising quality and quantity.
My daughter was treated to a huge appetizer of locally sourced cured meats and cheeses, followed by a pasta with sausage ragù that she devoured with delight.
For us, it was an incredible experience. We started with five fabulous appetizers, which we repeated several times (because here, "seconds" and "thirds" are the norm, not the exception). This was followed by expertly made fresh pasta, and finally, a homemade dessert accompanied by spectacular fresh fruit.
The restaurant is informal and exudes a rare warmth. The owner's kindness is the real added value: she made us feel at home from the first moment, even going so far as to offer our daughter's meal, a gesture of elegance and sweetness from another era.
Talking about "honesty" is an understatement: €25 per person for a feast of fresh, lovingly prepared products is a price almost impossible to find these days.
If you want to eat until you say "enough" with the certainty of only healthy ingredients on your plate and a smile on your face, visit Zia Nene. We'll definitely be back!

07/04/2026: I went to this place yesterday (Easter Monday) for the first time.
I had a good meal.
The food is homely and the management is friendly.
The only "flaw" is the wait time between courses, but that's understandable because everything is prepared and served fresh (it's a bit like going to lunch at your aunt's).
Aunt Nene is very friendly and kind; she certainly doesn't leave you without food; in fact, she brings you as much as she has.

31/05/2026: The homey atmosphere makes you feel right at home in the heart of Tuscany (as a woman born in Umbria, I can only appreciate that!!). Chiara welcomed us: an incredible smile, lively black eyes, and incredibly fast. We decided to start with a delicious appetizer of Margherita pizza, focaccia, "special livers," and local prosciutto. The livers were mixed with a little minced beef, truly tasty and a refreshing alternative. Next up were grilled pigeon and rabbit. The pigeon was incredible, but I think the rabbit (which I love to cook) would have been better jugged or pan-fried, as it would have been less dry. Honestly, it's a place I'd happily return to. The menu also included the legendary Florentine steak (photo of which I stole from the diners near us) and pasta with wild boar ragù! If you're visiting Vinci, make sure to book this restaurant well in advance.

07/06/2026: Let's start with the beautiful location, the sea view room. The staff was very courteous, kind, and professional. We ordered a bit of everything. Every dish was excellent. To finish off lunch or dinner, I recommend the almond and fig spumone. Kudos to the very courteous staff. I recommend it 100%, rating 1000++++++++

The best! Friendliness, professionalism, cleanliness—it has it all.
I recommend making a reservation because there are so many people wanting to eat there from opening to closing!

A beef tartare ordered at 9:55 PM, but at 10:15 PM they realized it wasn't there...

They're disorganized but welcoming

Everything is very clean and nice, both before and now.

Excellent schiacciata, cured meats, and cheeses.
Simple first and second courses.
An ideal place for a quality snack or lunch.
Bar, tobacconist, and a small grocery store complete the picture.

The view was breathtaking and it really felt like Italy! Recommend if you love to try new things and are not so afraid of a not perfectly cleaned table this is your place!

05/05/2026: This pastry shop is located on Piazza L. Ariosto, a bit outside the center, but it was just a short walk from our apartment.
Delicious ice cream, especially the chocolate with hazelnuts – amazing!
Delicious espresso (this was my first time trying this kind of coffee) and classic pasticciotto.
It's worth a visit!
