25/08/2026: A good alternative to the beach, with a welcoming and clean atmosphere and an on-site restaurant with excellent food, run by a professional (Silvio). Recommended. I'll be back.

06/04/2026: Easter Monday, knowing the owner, a very good person, I don't doubt it, I understand that the coastal road doesn't offer much, even during the period, prosecco €5 at the counter without even a minimum of appetizers seems exaggerated to me, with the addition that it was also put in a plastic cup.

02/12/2025: We decided to celebrate a birthday here. We arrived at 9 PM, and after a 30-minute wait, the seafood and meat appetizers arrived. Very good food, and the staff were friendly. As soon as we started with the appetizers, we ordered pizzas to save time, since we had an elderly woman and her relatives with us (seven in total), who obviously couldn't be late. And that's where the problem lies. The pizzas arrived (some of them wrong) after a TWO-HOUR wait, at 12:00/12:15 AM to be precise, after the seven people had already left. We raised the issue, but all we got were shrugs. When it came time to get the (salty) bill, we reiterated that they could have easily informed us about the long waiting times, at least we would have avoided ordering those extra pizzas... in response, only excuses and unfounded justifications in an arrogant and presumptuous tone from the person I believe to be the owner... I appreciate the appropriateness in choosing the restaurant's name...

07/08/2026: We were hoping to find a place "not for tourists" since it was recommended to us by a local, but it is indeed a place for tourists: very few traditional dishes, and some are very questionably prepared (considering the experience with competitors), very little attention to detail, zero connection to the local area (except for 2 or 3 dishes), virtually no wine selection (three bottles, all from the same winery), and little knowledge of how to cook meat. Not recommended if you're looking for a true Salento cuisine experience! Enchanting location and good service.

21/08/2025: Holiday, breakfast in what seems like a normal bar in Maglie... instead it turns out to be the most beautiful morning of all the holidays, welcoming, attentive and above all smiling they welcome you... not (it would be obvious at 8.30 in the morning) blown Lecce coffee guys (in the whole holiday only once had they bothered to make it in another bar)... pastries... cake... pasta and the smell of bread, they are baking as if they were a bakery... what can I say, the day couldn't have started better... thanks guys, your passion is seen and felt. If you are in the area, stop by, it's not just any bar 💋❤️

15/02/2026: We discovered this pastry shop by chance online. We entered and were greeted by a kind, friendly, and very sweet lady, who is 88 years old, and her 90-year-old husband, who is still working with the dough... excellent, artisanal, and well-filled desserts, because taste is not just pleasing to the eye... a place full of all kinds of sweets, with a lot of Salento tradition... I ordered two mixed trays of pastries and made a great impression at home in Brindisi... I highly recommend this pastry shop and the very sweet owners... 14/02/2026: I haven't lived in Lecce for 24 years, and I don't know how I've never seen this pastry shop. Maybe because from the outside it looks more like a bar. I don't know. In any case, just walking past yesterday, I was struck by a wonderful aroma. It reminded me of the sweets my grandfather used to make, as he had a bakery back then. And indeed, here you'll find a wonderful couple who have been baking typical Salento sweets for about 60 years, prepared in the workshop right behind the sales area. I love these places that maintain a vintage feel, the pastry shop of yesteryear with traditional desserts that I've found delicious. So, whether you're visiting from out of town or even Lecce residents like me, come on over!

25/06/2026: Located on the seafront, this is a very quaint and welcoming place. Fantastic food and a very extensive menu, featuring first courses, second courses, pizzas, and especially many traditional Apulian dishes. For us celiacs, it's heaven; they make their own pasta, delicious. The pizza, too, is homemade and incredibly good. I wanted to compliment the staff, especially the blonde woman, who was kind and very attentive to our gluten-free needs! The owner is a wonderful person!

31/05/2026: Delicious pizza, thin crust, very flavorful. It's definitely worth trying. I highly recommend the carbonara, my boyfriend and I think it's one of the best pizzas we've ever had. The Margherita is also very good, unlike any other Margherita we've ever had. The wine we ordered was also great. The service was super attentive and cheerful, the waitress was always smiling. 08/02/2026: I highly recommend this experience, having already done it with my son. The pizza was amazing, perfect, crispy, with balanced flavors and cooking. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the owners were very kind. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend it and will be back. Thank you.

18/08/2026: At 7:30 PM, I call to make a reservation. There are four of us, for 10:00 PM. The person who answers (in broken Italian) says it's no problem, there's no need to book, and that he'll let me eat for the "second shift" anyway... I travel from Milan, arrive 11 hours later, and find the San Siro parking lot with 20,000 cars and a line for "bread and butter" food. Ignoring the parking attendant with a flashlight and a Napoli jersey who lets me park in Ostuni... I think I'll look elsewhere for the rest of my vacation!

09/07/2026: Here you have to hope that a waiter will actually look at you so you can order something. The bald man seems like he has no interest in tourists.

19/08/2026: A lovely spot in Galatone's historic center, in a small square characteristic for its location and the atmosphere of a typical Salento village. A good selection of snacks, pinsas, and especially quality burgers. The only downside is the wait for service and food, which were a bit slow despite there being a limited number of tables. Parking isn't close to the restaurant, but it's convenient enough to enjoy the town center streets on a summer evening.

07/08/2026: The cappuccino, croissants, and pasticciotti were good. Terrible service and cleanliness... we asked for a table for four... the answer was, "Where are you going?" We found a small table that we asked to be cleaned... after more than 10 minutes, a girl wiped it with a dry napkin... terrible.

23/05/2026: The croissants, sweets, and savory pastries are truly delicious. The prices are excellent. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
