02/05/2026: I went on a school trip. The staff was thorough and excellent in explaining the history of Quarta coffee. Excellent products. The coffee is indescribable for its high quality.
20/04/2026: I've always had a great impression of Quarta coffees, and I've always recommended them to everyone. I'm talking about both ground and unground coffees.
Now I've tried the Nespresso-compatible capsules and honestly, I find them overpriced and of poor quality. The coffee is washed out, and Nespresso dispenses water before the coffee, which means the capsule isn't full.
A well-paid disappointment.
Furthermore, the individual capsule packaging, when opened, has a terrible smell, like wet waste. I don't think this is due to the fact that it's compostable...it's never happened to me with other brands.
Too bad.

However, I recommend setting a standard price, even if it has to be higher, to avoid all the extras that practically consist of half the ingredients that can be added. 02/05/2026: Superb coffee and croissants...if you stop by during lunchtime, you can choose between their homemade dishes or excellent sandwiches, always made to order. In the evening, they serve excellent aperitifs with platters and canapés galore.
The atmosphere is friendly, and the owners are always available.

03/08/2026: In a rush, between sightseeing in the center of Lecce, I stumbled upon this lovely bar!
I tried the rustico leccese, which, compared to many others, was undeniably the best! The pastry was perfectly made, and so was the filling (plentiful and flavorful)!
I recommend it to everyone!

Infinite sadness:
We enter the restaurant and are greeted by a sign prohibiting entry because the floor is wet. We take a seat at an available table, but it's full of glasses and consumed drinks. We ask to clear the table. We order and discover that there are no desserts available, so we order something to eat for the occasion, and we order two beers and a liqueur, to the disappointment of those who don't order anything...
What can I say!
A little attention and a pinch of goodwill in the service and a positive initiative would make this place more appealing and, why not, a bar worth frequenting!
18/01/2026: Nice atmosphere, but only for the decor. We stumbled upon it on a Saturday night, but it was disappointing. The staff was unwelcoming.
There's no draft beer, only bottled, and no desserts.
I wouldn't go back.

18/07/2026: Exquisite dishes, the freshest ingredients, and a pleasant atmosphere. Attentive service. It's rare to find such a perfect balance between flavor, tradition, and hospitality. A must-see for anyone who wants to eat well and enjoy the location, with its aromas and sea view. Gianni, the owner, is a guarantee, but today we missed Valentina's pampering.
16/07/2026: A truly charming place, overlooking the sea. A truly varied menu, with both seafood and meat dishes. Fast and friendly service.
Delicious food! Highly recommended.

19/10/2025: A wonderful location surrounded by greenery, just a stone's throw from Gallipoli, a rustic establishment offering simple yet refined dishes. The quality of the food is excellent, from the appetizers to the first and second courses. The antipasto was rich and delicious, and the first courses were excellent. We opted for the meat course, which was delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were very satisfied.
13/09/2025: We were thrilled with the cuisine, service, and location at Calamate.
We stayed in Gallipoli for 12 days, and we ate there four times. It was undoubtedly the best dinners of the entire trip.
The appetizer selection—the burratina, the homemade orecchiette, and the bombette (which we tried breaded and baked here)—were all exceptional, as were the grilled red tuna and the pasta with scampi. The ingredients are excellent, and the price, in my opinion, perfectly in line with what's on offer.
If you're in Gallipoli, it's worth a visit!
