27/12/2025: Pleasant little lunch restaurant located in the historic part of Lecce. The food was ok (but nothing too fancy), but I am pleased to mention here the hospitality and excellent service of one of waitress (did not catch her name), she was adorable!

15/10/2025: Nice staff and service, but the food was a big disappointment. We sat inside next to the food prep area and were shocked to see that our pastas (both orichiette and lasagne) were pre-made and were microwaved for 6 minutes each before being served to us! Inexcusable in Italy, especially for the price. The pomodoro sauce was plain and acidic, and the orichiette was chewy (given it wasn’t fresh). Skip this for the much better options nearby.

30/12/2025: Very nice place in medieval style, clean and well-kept, clean restrooms, the table service is very attentive by the waiters who are always available and fast... (of course with so many people you can't expect ultra-fast service) but it's okay, the food: I only had fruit, chips and pizza (I can't judge the catering) but believe me, an explosive taste in every bite. The pizzas are out of the ordinary gigantic and full of products, let's say it's a challenge to eat it all. The quality of draft beer is also excellent... to finish in style, a myriad of desserts which are also excellent... what can I say? 5 stars well deserved, well done, congratulations, I highly recommend trying it to believe it 👍👏💯

30/12/2025: Horrible service: over an hour's wait. They give priority to people calling for takeout instead of serving those already seated. Mediocre pizza. The Hofbrau Weiße beer is very good.

05/02/2026: My Italian wife said the burrata ravioli was the best ravioli she'd ever had! My tagliatella bolognese was excellent also. Great comfort food!

28/01/2026: I'll limit myself to reviewing the service, as I didn't eat. The staff were really friendly, the service impeccable, and the system was well-organized.

06/09/2025: I agree that the pizza dough lacked salt, and so did the tomato sauce. The dough was also a little too chewy.

30/08/2025: Stunning location, a charming terrace with stunning lighting. Top service, as the waiters were very helpful, friendly, and quick. The food was decent—we had delicious octopus meatballs, but the pizza was a bit salty. A bit bland. Overall, I'd give it a 6/10.

26/03/2026: Going to the Bistrot for dinner or a glass of wine is like visiting an old friend's house...there's a warm and friendly atmosphere, daughter Giulia's smile welcoming you, background music that doesn't disturb you...and then the good, carefully prepared food, and the wine recommendations from the host Michele.... When you leave there, you immediately wonder...when I'll be back next week? Bistrot...a constant treat. Erika.

26/03/2026: This wonderful place, far from the hustle and bustle of the city center, envelops you in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, just like the wonderful and friendly owners, who are always attentive to their guests' needs. Excellent food. Highly recommended!!!

09/09/2025: Lovely place, but €20/30...isn't correct..Two coffees with two grappas €13...they should have written €50/60...Friendly staff, but be careful with the wine suggestions...ask the price!

A pristine place suspended in time, a superb welcome, delightful accommodations with a sea view, delicious, locally sourced food at a reasonable price, all managed by a young man with a rock star haircut reminiscent of the frontman of the former Blu Vertigo band! Not to be missed.

12/08/2025: At 8:30 PM, I stopped by this pizzeria to buy some rotisserie items since all the other pizzerias in town were closed. The counter was empty, and I asked if, given the time, they were preparing any more rotisserie items. I was told they had orders and reservations and wouldn't be making any more for a while. My question is, if you're the only pizzeria open in town (since, from what I've been told, pizzerias rotate during the month of August), how can you not have some available during dinner time for anyone who wants to buy some for an evening or just to eat at that moment? I recommend, especially for tourists who may not be familiar with the town's operations, that you post signs indicating whether reservations are required to purchase rotisserie items.

02/12/2025: Everything was delicious! It's become my go-to bakery, from savory to sweet (try the panettone, I highly recommend it!!!) quality and goodness in name and in fact!

02/11/2025: If you go to Lecce, you absolutely must go to Mamma Rita's! You'll enjoy excellent dishes, and the pizza is a must! The best! Friendliness, professionalism, cleanliness—it has it all. I recommend making a reservation because there are so many people who want to eat there from opening to closing!
