22/11/2025: Like every Saturday I went to the Verlaine pub, where I was welcomed with a smile and accompanied to the table by Mr. Marco, a very knowledgeable and professional guy.

22/11/2025: I visited the Verlaine Pub in Veglie, a very refined atmosphere with attention to detail. Upon entry, I was greeted by Mr. Marco, who very politely and professionally escorted us to our table, making us feel at home.

23/08/2025: Yesterday, my husband and I went for a snack at this restaurant. We sat outside in a charming little square located within the walls of Akaja Castle. We enjoyed a platter of various cheeses and cured meats, along with bruschetta. The food was very good, thanks to the quality of the ingredients. We also enjoyed the service, as Rossella was very professional and kind. We'll be back again this evening.

11/11/2025: Nice little place by the sea, with nearby parking. Open even in November. We had a wonderful meal. Plus, they threw a wonderful party with live Salento music! Compliments to the owner and staff! Very friendly and... enterprising! Really good! Recommended. We'll be back soon! Thank you!

Quality food and cocktails, happy and friendly staff, but what struck us the most was the service offered by Francesco: kind, friendly, always available and very fast in taking orders. As soon as he receives an order, he runs fast like a marmot in rural landscapes!❤️🍹🍄☺️

26/08/2025: Historic bar in the center of Galatina, a welcoming and modern atmosphere. Excellent gelato 👌, 100% artisanal, thanks to the passion of Maestro Piero. You can also find many gluten-free options, including gelato 🍨 👏👏👏. A must-see for anyone passing through Galatina 😅👍👍

20/08/2025: A popular bar, it also offers ice cream, with a good selection of lactose-free products. The covered outdoor veranda is also pleasant.

16/12/2025: Terrible. Ordered two aperitifs (Hugo and Spritz). A long coffee and a spritz arrived. No appetizers. We got up to order a good but cold rustico and a baked calzone (requested twice because they kept giving us the fried calzone). I'd better not tell you about the HUGO. It arrived with undrinkable alcoholic lemonade. Payment: €20.90. GIVE AWAY for terrible treatment.

07/12/2025: Beautiful location on Gallipoli's prettiest street. Lots of choice. It's a shame they make the pasticciotti in every way, including with cream and whole cherries, but not with cherry jam.

17/10/2025: While strolling through the beautiful village, we spotted this osteria and were immediately intrigued by its delicious menu, which was also well explained by the young owner outside, so we returned for dinner. The welcome was warm, the homemade dishes from the Salento tradition were tastefully and harmoniously served. I found many traditionally plant-based dishes, being vegan. They were very kind in offering recommendations, and the wine was also excellent, a Negramaro rosé. Even though it was also the opening of their pizzeria, they looked after us impeccably! The excellent chef even came out and offered us a freshly baked pizza! The price was reasonable for the food, they were truly excellent. Congratulations! 21/09/2025: We visited this pizzeria at the invitation of two friends, traveling over 120 km there and back, expecting a wonderful evening of karaoke and delicious pizza. Instead, we found ourselves with an experience we'd soon forget. As soon as we entered, we were overwhelmed by a deafening noise: the music was so loud we couldn't even exchange a few words with the person next to us—an uncontrolled, annoying, and poorly managed chaos that made any kind of conversation or relaxation impossible. When we ordered, half the pizzas on the menu were unavailable due to a lack of ingredients. No one had notified us, and we found ourselves having to change our orders on the spot. The pizzas then arrived incorrect, incomplete, or completely different from what we'd asked for, as if they'd been made randomly. And to make matters worse, when it came time to pay, the POS didn't work. No one had informed us upon arrival, and we found ourselves in a bind because no one at our table had cash. An unacceptable inconvenience, especially in 2025. A disaster from start to finish. The place was chaotic, the service disorganized, and there was a complete lack of respect for the customers. Not only will we not return, but we're also sorry we drove all that way for such a disappointing evening.

12/10/2025: My hamburger was spoiled and smelled bad. I sent my plate back to the kitchen. The boss, with whom I argued, made me pay for my meal... I'll never go to that restaurant again.

30/06/2025: Jox Caffetteria serves excellent coffee. The staff was friendly and everything was fresh and tasty. Perfect spot for a relaxing break!

21/09/2025: Small café and pastry shop. There are tables outside where you can have breakfast in peace. The staff at the counter are friendly and professional. I've stopped in several times for breakfast. The coffee and cappuccino are very good. The pasticciotto is unbeatable. I've tried the classic, Nutella, and pistachio versions, all delicious. Highly recommended.
