25/10/2025: Not a particularly positive experience. The pizza chef and cashier were incredibly rude. If you can't handle the pressure when there's a lot of people, change jobs. Since there's no table service, you have to go get the pizzas when they're ready. Obviously, you sit down and take a seat in the meantime. Once they arrive, the woman taking the orders starts screaming like a hyena. They don't even give you time to get up and go get them before the pizza chef behind the oven says, "If they get cold, it's your problem!" Will you give me time to get there? All this arrogance for mediocre pizzas, by the way. Never again.

14/08/2025: Alegría Park is a lovely place to spend time with family or friends. Conveniently located near Mancaversa, it offers a relaxed atmosphere with green areas and open spaces to enjoy the outdoors. It’s ideal for a walk, letting the kids play, and taking advantage of the activities available. The park is clean and well-maintained, although some areas could benefit from more shade on hot days. Its proximity to the coast makes it perfect to combine with a beach day in Gallipoli. Overall, it’s a nice option to relax and enjoy the outdoors in a peaceful, family-friendly environment.

30/08/2025: A disastrous experience... We stopped to eat the local specialty (orecchiette con le cime di rapa) because the menu looked reasonable. A quick welcome, no smiles, served in barely 5 minutes, the quantity left something to be desired, the pasta was overcooked and covered in oil, and the waiter was not professional at all: he sighed and became annoyed when he realized we weren't going to order wine or dessert... We were ejected like dirt: no thank you or goodbye. Luckily for them, their restaurant is well located in the old town! We left disappointed and with the feeling of having been trapped in a tourist trap. Clearly a place to avoid if you want to discover authentic Puglian cuisine...

26/07/2025: Ristorante all' aperto in piazza, staff gentile e preparato. Siamo venuti in vacanza in Puglia e abbiamo trovato questo ristorante su internet. Si mangia benissimo,prodotti freschi e preparati con maestria. Hanno accettato la richiesta fuori menù di mio figlio che ha chiesto la pasta alla carbonara e i ragazzi non hanno esitato avendo a disposizione gli ingredienti a cucinarla per lui! I tiramisù sono buonissimi e anche i primi. I prezzi sono giusti...😍ci tornerei con piacere

26/06/2025: Endroit sympathique pour un dîner, cuisine italienne. Serveurs très gentils et efficaces. On peut prendre du vin au pichet. Ambiance très sympathique sur cette belle place.

21/09/2025: This was our first time at this place. Nice but small. We made a reservation. We waited 40 minutes to order and over an hour from ordering to get our food. Terrible service, which needs to be addressed with the long waits, given the very small space. Lack of basic hygiene standards in an environment where food is served. There was a cat at the entrance.

20/09/2025: If you think you're going to La Pergola for an elegant restaurant, you're in the wrong place, but the only thing you can be sure of is that the pizza 🍕 is truly delicious. Highly recommended

03/09/2025: I honestly don't understand the cold or negative reviews for this restaurant. Splendid location near the Castle in a historic and truly characteristic square. All the dishes were more than good. Portions were not excessive but honest. We really enjoyed it. THANK YOU. P.S.: with The Fork discount, it's a crime not to go!

29/08/2025: We ordered pasta with mussels and cherry tomatoes...the pasta wasn't fresh, the dish was completely unprepared, and the mussels were tiny!! We also ordered an octopus salad...tasteless! Lastly, a three-year-old girl was even charged for the service charge without having consumed anything! The location is beautiful. The waiter was very kind and polite, but the young woman, who barely spoke Italian, wasn't so much as asking for feedback when she picked up her plate. It seems like a commercial place that tries to repurpose traditional dishes without the necessary love and tradition. The prices are high. The menu doesn't list frozen ingredients...you have to ask to find out what's fresh and what's not.

19/09/2025: Dear Owner, Thank you for your reply, but my intent was certainly not to offend customers, but rather to express the discomfort I felt on that specific occasion. I understand that the day included a special event, but perhaps it would have been helpful to communicate this more clearly, so that we could have made an informed decision whether or not to participate. Regarding the service, unfortunately, our experience was different from what you described: we encountered a certain disorganization and a lack of attention to requests, which was a negative impact. The food was good, and I acknowledged that, but the overall quality of the experience unfortunately did not live up to expectations. In any case, I wish you and your staff the best of luck. 23/08/2025: We happened to be at this stretch of beach in not-so-great swimming weather, and we were hungry. The staff was very friendly and helpful – they immediately spoke to the children in a friendly manner and even offered a high chair. The food was excellent (fish, meat, pasta, salad). The prices were a bit high due to the fresh ingredients. Nevertheless, the restaurant is highly recommended!

30/08/2025: While on vacation in Tuglie, despite the photos and reviews not appealing to me, today—due to a rainy day and its proximity to the hotel—we decided to try it. The pastry shop is well stocked. We ordered two pasticciotti (one with Nutella and cream, one with just cream), a fruttone (a fruit cake), and a pasticciotto mignon (a miniature pastry). Unfortunately, the quality didn't convince us: the pastry tasted like sawdust, and the inside was practically empty. The tables were dirty, and the organization was lacking. It was undoubtedly the worst pasticciotto we've eaten in our two-week vacation. The only positive note: the Lecce coffees, which were good. We wouldn't recommend it.

31/10/2025: We stopped by Sascianne for its reopening. We were welcomed by Giovanna and Claudio, two hosts worthy of the name. We ordered an appetizer and ravioli. We'd already won us over with the appetizer, but the lobster ravioli in shrimp ragù absolutely blew us away. Everything was exquisite and carefully prepared, but above all, light and flavorful. We finished with a Nutella panna cotta. In short, we'll definitely be returning to this little restaurant in a truly unique location.

06/10/2025: Terrible restaurant!!! We ordered a seafood appetizer with six courses, and after a bit of a wait, one course arrived every 10-15 minutes. Over the course of over an hour, we received five courses, only two of which matched the ones listed on the menu. We ordered white pasta for the kids, and they brought us half-cooked orecchiette.

11/09/2025: Stopped by late at night just for a coffee and an after-dinner drink. Nice place, well-ventilated outdoor seating, good coffee. Luckily we did our own coffee and after-dinner service and brought them back to the counter, because the €1.20 coffee was fine, but two sambucas for €7.00 seemed a bit excessive. If there was table service, would it have cost as much as a dinner at a restaurant? We're in a seaside town, but we only see new customers once and never again.

13/10/2025: September 2025, standard appetizers for two, 1/2 bottle of wine, a plate of spaghetti with tomato sauce, and coffee for €49. Honestly, we didn't return because we felt a bit uncomfortable. Recommended by the manager of the B&B where we were staying, we would have appreciated a more reasonable price and become loyal customers. The only complaint was that the waitress was kind and attentive, unlike the owner, who didn't offer us a single word.

11/10/2025: We decided to have pizza, since we've been eating fish and meat for days. We made the right choice, it was a very good pizza.

27/09/2025: For a tourist spot, this is still a decent pizza, very good value for money. Thank you for putting real green olives on the pizzas and not black olives in brine from a can. The only downside is that I was a bit surprised to pay 2 euros per person for cutlery. I think it's a bit of a tip, even though I always leave one. In short, if you want to stop after a good visit and eat well without breaking the bank in a tourist spot, this is for you!
