20/10/2025: What can I say...in my opinion, Davide is the pizza artist...the best pizzas ever ooooo. If you come to Lecce, you must stop at the Mediterranean to enjoy a truly authentic pizza and above all with natural leavening like our grandmothers used to make.

26/07/2025: Ristorante all' aperto in piazza, staff gentile e preparato. Siamo venuti in vacanza in Puglia e abbiamo trovato questo ristorante su internet. Si mangia benissimo,prodotti freschi e preparati con maestria. Hanno accettato la richiesta fuori menù di mio figlio che ha chiesto la pasta alla carbonara e i ragazzi non hanno esitato avendo a disposizione gli ingredienti a cucinarla per lui! I tiramisù sono buonissimi e anche i primi. I prezzi sono giusti...😍ci tornerei con piacere

26/06/2025: Endroit sympathique pour un dîner, cuisine italienne. Serveurs très gentils et efficaces. On peut prendre du vin au pichet. Ambiance très sympathique sur cette belle place.

22/09/2025: Fantastic place! I highly recommend it. Beautiful beach, clear water, and a bar run by a lovely Italian family. They really encouraged us to speak Italian (we're still learning), made delicious drinks, and were very helpful. Subtle music played through the speakers... reasonable prices, delicious menu.

03/09/2025: I honestly don't understand the cold or negative reviews for this restaurant. Splendid location near the Castle in a historic and truly characteristic square. All the dishes were more than good. Portions were not excessive but honest. We really enjoyed it. THANK YOU. P.S.: with The Fork discount, it's a crime not to go!

29/08/2025: We ordered pasta with mussels and cherry tomatoes...the pasta wasn't fresh, the dish was completely unprepared, and the mussels were tiny!! We also ordered an octopus salad...tasteless! Lastly, a three-year-old girl was even charged for the service charge without having consumed anything! The location is beautiful. The waiter was very kind and polite, but the young woman, who barely spoke Italian, wasn't so much as asking for feedback when she picked up her plate. It seems like a commercial place that tries to repurpose traditional dishes without the necessary love and tradition. The prices are high. The menu doesn't list frozen ingredients...you have to ask to find out what's fresh and what's not.

21/09/2025: This was our first time at this place. Nice but small. We made a reservation. We waited 40 minutes to order and over an hour from ordering to get our food. Terrible service, which needs to be addressed with the long waits, given the very small space. Lack of basic hygiene standards in an environment where food is served. There was a cat at the entrance.

20/09/2025: If you think you're going to La Pergola for an elegant restaurant, you're in the wrong place, but the only thing you can be sure of is that the pizza 🍕 is truly delicious. Highly recommended

12/10/2025: Super friendly staff, our dog got treats. Very good spritz. We are not used to such a selection at a gas station. Here they have everything sandwiches, cookies and cakes and more.

04/09/2025: Mediocre quality (mostly we were served reheated food, not cooked—it arrived promptly), below-average portions, and restaurant-like prices (even though it's just a chip shop). The prices are ridiculous for what you get. There are definitely better places nearby where you can eat well and get your money's worth.

03/11/2025: We went to this restaurant to celebrate an event with a group of about 26 people. We had agreed on a fixed price for the menu, and overall, we had a great time: the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. However, the portions of the main appetizers were very small compared to the number of diners, and this left us a bit disappointed, especially considering it was a special occasion. It's a shame, because with a little more attention to portion size, it would have been a perfect experience.

27/10/2025: Shameful... A guy at my table felt sick and didn't have time to go to the bathroom to vomit, so he did it in the dining room. He cleaned up and put everything in a bag, and the owner made him take it outside (where only staff should go) to the trash cans. As if that weren't enough, the staff even complained about what happened. I work in the restaurant business, and if I had done something like that, I would have been fired. The pizza wasn't anything special, but it was good overall. The staff's behavior was shameful; I will never return.

30/08/2025: A disastrous experience... We stopped to eat the local specialty (orecchiette con le cime di rapa) because the menu looked reasonable. A quick welcome, no smiles, served in barely 5 minutes, the quantity left something to be desired, the pasta was overcooked and covered in oil, and the waiter was not professional at all: he sighed and became annoyed when he realized we weren't going to order wine or dessert... We were ejected like dirt: no thank you or goodbye. Luckily for them, their restaurant is well located in the old town! We left disappointed and with the feeling of having been trapped in a tourist trap. Clearly a place to avoid if you want to discover authentic Puglian cuisine...

20/09/2025: The hosts were very friendly. We had spaghetti vongole. It was delicious. We even got a small Aperol Spritz on the house. Thank you for that.

29/08/2025: I'll start by saying that I've always loved the pizzas from Pizzeria Core a Core. I've had a good experience at all their locations, but not the one in Morciano di Leuca. The pizza was burnt, cold, and without toppings. I ordered a "scoglio" (a kind of seafood dish) and got two shrimp and two zucchini on top. The pizza was completely white and black on the bottom. I'll continue to go there in other towns, but this was the first and last time I'd even had to speak in Salento dialect on my cell phone. It's a shame about this inconvenience. My compliments, however, go to the pizzeria in Gagliano del Capo. Excellent pizzas, well-seasoned and tasty. The staff is very respectful of their customers, and the opening hours are always precise.
