20/09/2025: I went for breakfast with friends a few months ago at Caffè Rudiae near Porta Rudiae, and I must say I was very impressed. It's a historic and truly unique place: charming retro decor, with myriads of clocks, toys, paintings, vintage objects, and much more that make it one of a kind. The place is very welcoming and has both an intimate and quaint indoor room and a spacious outdoor area that's perfect for al fresco dining in the summer. The display case is immense and overflowing with all kinds of desserts—the pasticciotto, of course, was a must. We tried the classic one and one with lemon cream, which was truly special, accompanied by an excellent cappuccino. The staff is extremely kind, professional, and helpful: they even patiently handled a friend of ours's change of heart without any problem. The prices are excellent and affordable. I'll definitely be back to try something else, and I highly recommend anyone passing through Lecce to stop here: not only for the uniqueness of the place, which alone makes a statement, but also for the quality and deliciousness of the products.

03/10/2025: I've been frequenting Salento for years, and the Cutty Sark kiosk is a must-see...on clear days, you can see the mountains beyond a heavenly sea, the view of Castro is priceless, you turn your gaze and see an old ruined tower...the pungent aromas inebriate the mind, and you're immersed in epic tales. The owner is always available and smiling, ready to pick up all the rubbish that too many rude tourists leave abandoned or insistently push into already overflowing bins...and I'm sad to read certain reviews where someone is wishing someone would fail for a few pennies!!! Dear Lord...the worst robbery is the time wasted writing it...the peace and beauty of that place are worthless.

03/09/2025: Returning to the kiosk is always a pleasure, a swim in the turquoise sea and ending with an excellent breakfast prepared by the friendly Virgilio is for us the best way to start the day!

06/09/2025: I agree that the pizza dough lacked salt, and so did the tomato sauce. The dough was also a little too chewy.

30/08/2025: Stunning location, a charming terrace with stunning lighting. Top service, as the waiters were very helpful, friendly, and quick. The food was decent—we had delicious octopus meatballs, but the pizza was a bit salty. A bit bland. Overall, I'd give it a 6/10.

20/12/2025: I've ordered takeout pizzas more than once, and each time the delay was at least an hour. The last time, however, they outdid themselves. Once the pizzas were supposed to arrive at 9:45 PM at the latest, despite a reminder for the usual enormous delay (10:25 PM), they apologized, saying that the delivery person had already left and would be there any minute. The evening ended with no pizza received and no advance notice of the missed delivery. Congratulations to the owners and staff for their punctuality and dedication to their work!

20/12/2025: A wide selection of deli items, ideal for a last-minute dinner if you're just passing through: come in, grab what you find, and leave. Unfortunately, the organization is the real weak point. The orders are terrible: we ordered the deli on two different occasions for two birthdays, and both times the orders got lost. Today we decided to give it another try, trying the pizzas: only two pizzas, with guaranteed delivery between 9:45 PM and 10:00 PM. At 10:30 PM, we were informed that the delivery man had just left for the delivery. It's now 11:52 PM and no one has been seen or heard from. We didn't expect to live hours away. It's a shame, because there's potential, but without serious management of orders and deliveries, it's difficult to recommend the service, except for a quick on-the-spot purchase.

14/09/2025: Always a positive experience. We've eaten at this little restaurant several times and have always had a great time. Good quality at a fair price.

04/09/2025: Mediocre quality (mostly we were served reheated food, not cooked—it arrived promptly), below-average portions, and restaurant-like prices (even though it's just a chip shop). The prices are ridiculous for what you get. There are definitely better places nearby where you can eat well and get your money's worth.

17/12/2025: Delicious, fresh products, homemade and otherwise. You can find everything on site and made to order. What can I say? I gladly go there when I go to Alezio on holiday, it's my go-to place. And what can I say about the staff, polite, helpful and friendly. Worth a try.

25/10/2025: Not a particularly positive experience. The pizza chef and cashier were incredibly rude. If you can't handle the pressure when there's a lot of people, change jobs. Since there's no table service, you have to go get the pizzas when they're ready. Obviously, you sit down and take a seat in the meantime. Once they arrive, the woman taking the orders starts screaming like a hyena. They don't even give you time to get up and go get them before the pizza chef behind the oven says, "If they get cold, it's your problem!" Will you give me time to get there? All this arrogance for mediocre pizzas, by the way. Never again.

I always order the cream croissant, which is delicious, and the coffee is excellent. The water that accompanies your drinks is served in glasses, a special touch for those who are eco-conscious. Well done.

09/09/2025: We wanted to try some truly authentic food, away from the tourist hotspots. Our expectations were far exceeded. Friendly staff, good and patient advice, and delicious pizzas. And of course, there are always some complainers. In any case, we enjoyed our meal and will be back.

07/09/2025: The restaurant and pizzeria is located in a charming little square in front of the 1595 Duomo. The manager and staff are very helpful and kind. The traditional first courses are very tasty and delicious. The quality and price are appreciated.

29/08/2025: I'll start by saying that I've always loved the pizzas from Pizzeria Core a Core. I've had a good experience at all their locations, but not the one in Morciano di Leuca. The pizza was burnt, cold, and without toppings. I ordered a "scoglio" (a kind of seafood dish) and got two shrimp and two zucchini on top. The pizza was completely white and black on the bottom. I'll continue to go there in other towns, but this was the first and last time I'd even had to speak in Salento dialect on my cell phone. It's a shame about this inconvenience. My compliments, however, go to the pizzeria in Gagliano del Capo. Excellent pizzas, well-seasoned and tasty. The staff is very respectful of their customers, and the opening hours are always precise.

07/12/2025: It was a day where we were with my parents we had a pizza and it was very good and the waiters (Alessandra Marco and Luca) served it
