Classy restaurant with al fresco option. Great local dishes and impeccable service. Lovely relaxed lunch in the sunshine on our first day in Lecce.

We called to reserve a table for an aperitif with a view of the church, and as soon as we arrived, we were greeted and seated. We fell in love with this place and the hospitality the staff gave us. Serena and Ilaria accompanied us from aperitif to dinner, and through conversation and laughter, they showed great professionalism in praising each dish they served. The chef was also brilliant and charming, creating a menu with AMAZING pairings! It goes without saying that the location and the view make a difference, but if all of this is accompanied by professionalism and friendliness, you'll definitely be happy to return! 21/07/2026: A truly wonderful discovery, nestled in a lovely little square, this pub/pizzeria/pucceria offers excellent service and a menu featuring quality ingredients. We wanted a quick dinner, so we ordered three pucce and fries. The service was very quick (even though it wasn't very crowded because it was a weekday), but the pucce were truly delicious; the bread had the right consistency and the toppings were very good. We were satisfied with the fries, fried in clear, clean oil. We couldn't try the draft beers because the system was out of order that evening, but there's a wide selection of bottled beers. They also make pizzas (we didn't order any), and they looked good; we'll definitely be back to try them. It's a family-run place (or almost), but they care (that's what matters). The price is good and fully reflects the quality you receive. I recommend this place.

Trattoria San Carlino

08/08/2026: A delicious and quick dinner, a refined atmosphere, and (unsurprisingly in August) a cool outdoor setting! A special mention to the VERY KIND, cheerful, and friendly staff. A rarity ✨
03/08/2026: We wanted to have dinner and found this trattoria by chance while strolling through the magnificent pedestrian streets in the historic center of Lecce on a very warm evening. I must say that we were extremely impressed with all the friendly staff, cleanliness, organization, and especially the quality of the food served. Our chosen dish was the seafood menu and it was truly excellent. We highly recommend this trattoria, you certainly won't regret it!
