28/10/2025: Unfortunately, no more than 2 stars. Atmosphere: The restaurant is nicely done and decorated. But: plastic cups for beer, plastic plates, and disposable wooden cutlery??? Seriously??? Service: The menu was brought to the table immediately, but taking our order took far too long. The beer and vegetarian samosas as an appetizer arrived quickly. The main course, a mixed tandoori platter, took almost half an hour. Okay, at least it was freshly cooked and then finished. Food: The vegetarian samosas were okay, as were the three sauces. Main course: plentiful, but not very well seasoned. The plain naan was too greasy, the rice was alright, and again the sauces were the same as with the appetizer. There's a lot of room for improvement. Start with glasses, plates, and metal cutlery... The food itself is certainly edible, but of course, it also has room for improvement.

27/10/2025: Very good food!! Spicy and full of flavor! Top service, small downside on the wooden cutlery, not very pleasant, otherwise everything was great!

15/08/2025: Invited by friends to spend an evening, it wasn't difficult to find parking because the restaurant is located on a wide road on the edge of town. Service was relatively quick, welcoming us with a small plate of pittole. The pizzas (by the meter), light and well-cooked, were tasty. The price is PERHAPS a little (just a little) above average, but that's also due to the fact that, being an outdoor restaurant far from the town center, we found ourselves avoiding the August evening heat, and the children were able to play in the adjacent park.

28/05/2025: Great place and above all great staff the only thing to improve is the home delivery service. I wish you a good service.

18/10/2025: Probably the best panna cotta I’ll ever eat in my life, the consistency and flavour was amazing. Our sweet and helpful server Manuella said she’s the one who makes all the desserts herself - compliments ! The meals, decorations and atmosphere were homey and authentic-feeling — overall a very lovely dinner.

05/10/2025: I recently returned after years, and perhaps I understood why I hadn't been there before: the wait was so long, and the food magically arrived only after requesting it. I tried home delivery again, but nothing happened. They just weren't on time (almost an hour's wait for 5 pizzas). But let's get to the pizzas. How can anyone think that chili powder is the added value of a diavola? And above all, do 8 slices of spicy salami make it a diavola? Cleaning the oven between batches would help prevent the flour from burning, which then sticks to the pizzas, making them bitter. Sorry for not posting a photo, but alas, I was hungry, so I ate it.

30/09/2025: I went for dinner on Saturday night with a group of friends; there were 10 of us. We sat outside. The place is very nice and welcoming. The pizza was excellent, very tasty, and they have a wide variety. We were very happy and will definitely be back soon. Thank you.

03/09/2025: The atmosphere is very comfortable for those like me with small children. There's a huge, very safe play area supervised by a young woman. The food is good. The only drawback: the service is incredibly slow.

15/08/2025: Dinner with the family. We didn't use the rooms. As for the food, you have to like their vegan approach. For me (a carnivore), the appetizer was excellent, the first course was perhaps a bit too heavy, and the dessert was delicious. We didn't order the second course because we were too full. What's striking, however, is the tranquility of the place, a true oasis of peace just steps from the road. Add to that a lovely welcome from Francesca, and you've got a truly relaxing evening.

05/05/2025: Eating at Piccapane is a unique experience: a family environment surrounded by greenery where you can enjoy excellent vegan dishes prepared with attention and love. This was the feeling we felt yesterday at lunch, from the welcome from the very kind staff to the tasting of the dishes, in the choice of which we were carefully guided. The food is incredible, a joy of simple flavors with refined combinations. There is also a small shop where you can purchase their products. Finding an entirely vegan restaurant in Salento was a dream until recently. Piccapane is truly a virtuous example, spokesperson for a change that we hope will spread more and more. (access is also allowed to animals ❤️)

30/08/2025: Unique place with a stunning view of the castle. Children can play safely. Excellent food with a wide range of products. Like the gluten-free pizza bombette fries with cacio e pepe.... Minimal wait. With kind and cheerful service. Price in line with the portion. I was blown away.

03/08/2025: Intrigued by the aesthetics, we decided to try the hotel restaurant for the first time. It was a pleasant surprise, from the excellent appetizers to the first courses and dessert. The ingredients were excellent, and each dish had a unique flavor. Compliments to the chef and all the staff who welcomed us with utmost hospitality!!!

21/05/2025: Mon mari et moi y avons dîné hier soir, en compagnie d'amis, pour notre dernière soirée à Lecce. Tout le monde a été ravi ! Félicitations au chef pour la qualité de ses mets, J'avais choisi le tataki de thon qui était délicieux. La présentation des plats est raffinée. Le serveur a été très aimable et souriant. Pour ne rien gâcher, il parfait français, ce qui a facilité nos choix.

You can immediately taste the fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite is a pleasure, simple and authentic. You can tell there's passion behind every pizza. Highly recommended.
