19/10/2025: A wonderful location surrounded by greenery, just a stone's throw from Gallipoli, a rustic establishment offering simple yet refined dishes. The quality of the food is excellent, from the appetizers to the first and second courses. The antipasto was rich and delicious, and the first courses were excellent. We opted for the meat course, which was delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were very satisfied.

13/09/2025: We were thrilled with the cuisine, service, and location at Calamate. We stayed in Gallipoli for 12 days, and we ate there four times. It was undoubtedly the best dinners of the entire trip. The appetizer selection—the burratina, the homemade orecchiette, and the bombette (which we tried breaded and baked here)—were all exceptional, as were the grilled red tuna and the pasta with scampi. The ingredients are excellent, and the price, in my opinion, perfectly in line with what's on offer. If you're in Gallipoli, it's worth a visit!

01/11/2025: One of the best pastry shops in Lecce. My little slice of heaven when I want to treat myself for breakfast. Spoiled for choice, and above all, supreme quality in every one of their products! All perfectly framed by a breathtaking view, especially considering they overlook Porta San Biagio, it's truly a harmonious experience I recommend everyone indulge in.

08/06/2025: Excellent venue for all types of parties, helpful and high quality staff and the manager, Mrs. Francesca, very kind and available for any questions. We celebrated my son's 18th birthday. What can I say, we will return for other occasions, I recommend it

22/10/2025: Delicious, good food, and fresh ingredients, nothing to complain about: tagliolini with white truffle, the freshest truffle I've ever tasted, as was the side of baked porcini mushrooms. The pizza was also excellent, with excellent value. I'll be back and highly recommend it.

30/09/2025: I ate there with my family a week ago, everything was impeccable, I will definitely be back, the fishmonger is always well stocked and the raw seafood is excellent, the staff is very kind.

25/10/2025: Overall, the food was not bad. Unfortunately, the portions were very small. The prices were extremely high for what they offered. The service staff was disrespectful to the customer's needs. I definitely won't repeat this experience.

26/08/2025: Retro decor, but this multiplex is history. Small food service, a waiting room with sofas and a TV drives me crazy. It may not be trendy, but I like it. The theaters aren't all big; some are small. Located near Lecce's historic center, unfortunately parking is limited, but maybe you can grab a coffee first, take a stroll, and then go to the movies. ❤️

24/08/2025: Varied and satisfying aperitif-dinner, excellent service, and reasonable prices. When it came to special food requests, the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. When it came time to pay... they were even complicit 😉

28/06/2025: Today I went to your bar, after a 40 minute journey, convinced that there was a chocolate braid but as soon as I entered I realized that it was not there. This gave me a sense of disgust and defeated disappointment. It upset me so much that I remained silent at my final exam, thus ruining my futile existence. I spent a turbulent afternoon in tears at the mere thought of this day, that said, thanks but not thanks. XOXO

02/11/2025: Relaxing location in a fantastic setting, excellent and well-prepared food, and friendly and professional owner Luca. We'll definitely be back next year.

11/10/2025: Feels like home, tastes like home with some extra touch. Short menu but filled just with the things which should be there. Great additions are the bar, the cocktails and the friendly attitude.

18/05/2025: Keep walking, the cocktails are cheap but not very good. They added two euros to our bill, I don't know where they got that from. The waiter spends his time smoking outside and scratching his backside in front of the customers? There are better restaurants on the pedestrian street.

30/05/2025: Delicious pasticciotti, classic but also other delicious flavors! I can't wait to go back to this pastry shop, when we were down there every morning a nice pasticciotto from Carmelino and we started the day well!!
